Coggy's Catch Up........

coggy · 12/01/2007 19:38

It seems FOREVER ago that I was properly on MN and obssessively ttc!
Only 2 1/2 months ago but alot has happened in that time I expect (no.....sadly no bfp from me yet!!!)
I guess that Debbsy has had her Bibsy and maybe Peachy too......BooBoo next month.....lots of other BFPs??????
Natty, MrsMc and Trace have kept me with some of the news on here.

Here's a quick catch-up with me and what is happening.....
I am CD25 of a usual 26/27 day cycle with all the classic AF signs.....cramps, tiredness, wind etc. etc. (It's nice to be back!! )
I am starting IUI this next cycle so I am only a couple of days away from that and VERY excited and VERY nervous about jabbing myself too!
I figured as well as catching up with my old ttc buddies I could also moan and groan merrily away about it all on this thread and (hopefully) get a little bit of (much needed) sympathy at the same time!!!

I am SUCH a wimp really!!!!
Roll on CD1......

Coggy, the wonderful Coggy.

I truly have missed seeing you on Mumsnet.

Gosh, IUI, that came round very quickly indeed. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it (in a totally non-voyeuristic, non-stalkerish way).

You have been thought of and talked about often in the last couple of months and it's lovely to have you back.

Here's hoping that it's a very happy new year for you.

Much love to you,

ShowOfHands

Bubbly....I have read through all of your IUI diary (a couple of times) and I am planning on those strange noises as I do my injections this week!
I shall think of you and of Artoo fainting at her blood test!!!
Lovely to know that you know have two beautiful children through IUI.
I am very positive and have great hopes......

BabyMadwithBump · 14/01/2007 19:21

Felling very C**p and down, very bad MS and feel so drained all the time, been doctors I have an "over active thyroid" so my body is not only PG but in over drive. I cant even make a bed, but I should be seeing a top dog doc next week regarding the thyroid, no thanks to another doctor I went to another doctor a few weeks back crying telling her how bad I was feeling she just said sorry nothing I can do MS in just one of them things, but been back and a very nice doctor put me on some anit sickness tabs and sent me for bloods which one has come back which the thyroid test, so hopefully be feeling much better soon when they get it sorted. Scan tomorrow so fingers crossed everything is okay! I'll keep checking on you, looking forward to the day you say I have a BFP!

Coggy, how lovely to see you again. I think of you loads - not in a pervy way! Really pleased things are going to start happening for you and I will keep everything crossed for you darlin'.

I am 25 weeks pg no, so 15 to go. Feel ok, but tired and heavy. I chat to Trace occasionally which is great and Peachy.

Look after yourself, and I'll be watching out for updates from you.

Huge hugs. xxxxx

peachygirl · 14/01/2007 21:02

Hi again. I start my leave on friday Hip Hip Hooray!!
Sort of ready for it all but in the process of buying / selling houses and at the moment it looks like we may not be in before the baby comes. Next week when I'm at home I'll start us a chat thread and everyone can catch up.

Mr Mcjnr Thanks for you good wishes.

Lots of luck for everyone going in for IVF/IUI.

coggy · 14/01/2007 22:32

Oh Peachy I am very of you and your maternity leave.....it is a FAB time and very exciting.

SOL.....flippin' heck...25 weeks??
Tell me....was it the orange biccardi breezer in the end?? Do I need to stock up this month?

Babymad....sorry to hear that you are feeling grim....I think that a dodgy thyroid can be a big factor in sub-fertility. I have had lots of thyroid tests over the years. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.....exciting for you too eh?
How come you are having an early scan.....or are you 12 weeks already?
I can't have been gone that long surely???!!!

Uki · 15/01/2007 00:33

Hi Coggy

You probably don't know me that well, but I have followed some of heartache on here, and think you are fabulous.

I noticed you were abscent for a while and kept thinking of you.

I'm so happy to hear about the IUI and wish you all the luck in the world, fingers and toes crossed for you.

I hope the jabs don't hurt, I'm sure you'll get good at it.
Good luck

Natty1806 · 15/01/2007 09:51

Hello coggy

Glad to see you back on here, i don't seem to have much time to spend on here nowadays.

Hope you get lots of support and you are very lucky and get that BFP you so deserve.

Best of luck - Love natty xxx

ShowOfHands · 15/01/2007 12:06

Feeling very gushy today so will try and keep a lid on it.

Oh but it's good to have you back

Aherm...

I'm currently 23wks, baby is doing well (it has hiccups at the mo so my stomach is doing a very weird little spasm thing periodically!). Had main scan a couple of weeks ago and everything in the right place, but had firmly crossed legs! Got a 4D scan on Sat so should find out what flavour then. Like Peachy am in the middle of buying our first house which just drags on and on with no help from the numptoid vendor. Still vaguely hoping to have moved in before D-Day (deliverance day? doomsday? dread day? insert your own...).

Got a meeting with English Heritage later to upgrade my status from Important Landmark to Eyesore. Even intrepid climbers have given up scaling the mountain that is my singleton bump.

Wheeee! Coggy's back.

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 15/01/2007 14:04

well haven't been up to much. still haven't sold the house, and with the interest rate rises I think selling the house is something we might just have to consceed defeat on. Am still on my health kick, well that is to say I re-started it in about November after having erm, not been very good between September and November. Since starting out in August I've lost 12 lb and on Saturday officially bought a pair of size 10 trousers which fitted perfectly!

No bfp for me either, af due on Sat actually but I'm way past the point of thinking it might happen every month now. had a bit of an upset couple of months ago when dh misread a test and thought it was pos when it was actually neg, but these things happen.

BabyMadwithBump · 15/01/2007 14:18

Scan went very well just the one very active baby with good H-beat, i almost cryed and they've put me forward a week so i'm now almost 12 weeks! going to try and put pic on tonite!
Babymadxx

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/01/2007 14:41

Hiya loves, wow, SOH, you are not far behind me at all. Congrats to you BabyMad - I didn't know you were pregnant! Fabulous!

Coggy, no orange bacardi breezers this time, but you may want to stock up on Chicken Rogon Josh! Or was it the Poppadoms??!

Juicylucytoo · 15/01/2007 18:53

Coggy - hurrah. God I've missed you. You always make me chortle.

Crossing all my fingers for your IUI (would cross my legs too, but sudden movements make me yelp (think I have SPD type thingy). Am now 20weeks and finally bumped up (and not just fat looking!).

coggy · 15/01/2007 19:08

HURRAH!
All my favourite chums in one place again.....I am pleased to be back (and thank you Uki....)

Wow Babymad....that is scary how quickly your weeks have flown by...I can't quite believe it.....I'm SO pleased all went well at your scan...I will cry for sure next time...found it almost impossible the firts time so I will have no hope will I??

Juicy....SPD thingy doesn't sound too good.....I hope all went well with your family and your news...I do think of you and your sister still.
X

SOH...LOL! 4D scan sounds really exciting......pregnant jig sounds decidedly dangerous however!!!!

Sorry to hear about your house buying hassles wannaBe.....and how horrendous about your false bfp.......that must have been horrid.

I think AF has come today but after telling the nurse that it comes full-pelt and I don't have a feeble start...it's gone and got buggered up this month for the first time ever......typical!
I need to phone them to tell the clinic when CD1 is......and AF has to come before 3pm to count as CD1.
It came at 1.30pm and has gone away again!!!
HOW ANNOYING!
Now I will have to phone and say that tomorrow is CD1 instead and change the drug regime...aarrgghhh!

Yesterday I felt excited......this morning I felt fed-up......this lunchtime I felt scared and now I am just poor old confused again!!!!!

....and I've waffled!!!!!

coggy · 15/01/2007 19:09

I AM impressed!
