2 big fat negatives for me i'm afraid Sad hardly surprising though. Shell Praying your news is different to mine, I need some hope!

Do people actually have a decent success rate on clomid? Also, I am worried i'm damaging the line of my womb. I have 4 months worth of clomid, (3 left) Do you think i'll be ok? Starting to question everything.

Supposedly there is a higher success rate xx

Afternoon Ladies,

Well then update, definitely think its my BFP! I think I have managed to upload a photo of my last 3 tests, the bottom one being this mornings. I think it is getting darker. I am really struggling to believe it, it really hasn't sunk in yet. According to FF my AF would be due today. I have no symptoms of AF at all, in fact i have little in the way of symptoms now. The main thing is I have an unquenchable thirst. No matter what or how much i drink my throat feels dry and sore. I am of course peeing like a horse as a consequence. Can not hold for more than 1 hour! I have decided that since I am off work on Friday if AF has not arrived by then I will make an appointment at my GP for that afternoon. I think when the doctor tells me it is real it might sink in.

DH doesn't want me to tell anyone so the only people I have to talk to you about this is you guys. I am scared to believe it is real. On the 20/04/2016 my consultant told me he was referring me for IVF in 6 months!

The only thing I did differently this month was take EPO from day 1 until day of ovulation. The only other thing I take is folic acid. I did notice an increase in CM but if this was down to EPO or because it was just the right month I do not know. I also started using pre-seed last cycle and continued with it this cycle. I love it and will continue using it even if I am not TTC.

I have my fingers crossed that more BFP's appear on this thread soon, especially for Village and Shell who are currently where I was last week. Just want to say to you all that this thread and your posts have really helped me stay sane and see that I was not alone in this struggle. I hope that this BFP brings just the feeling of hope and not sadness to anyone reading this. I pray that it happens for you too. Baby dust to all.

What's EPO?

As for me, I'm still fucking pissed off that we lost another one. And it appears I may have ovulated again as soon as I stopped that horrendous bleeding, as I have spent the last week or so with the exact same preg symptoms I had with my previous MMC and the most recent MC. I was armed to test in a week or two, but AF arrived again on CD14! Hmm Preg symptoms have now stopped again. I just know I was pregnant again though, so I reckon that was 3rd MC (or, to be technical, a chemical preg)
So unbelievably fucked off with my body. I've no idea what it's doing.

To top it off, DP just does not want to try again until we're moved into our new house and he starts feeling well again - he's had the flu on and off for weeks and being investigated currently.

If I'm being sensible, I know I need to give my body a break, but I can't help the yearning, especially after losing our little darling baby back in February. I'm just so desperate to be pregnant again Sad

Moan, moan, moan......

In other news, we should be moving on 20th May. But the way our luck is going I don't feel hugely optimistic that it's going to go as planned.

I'm really excited for you! And I really really hope this one is a good sticky one. It will be!
That unquenchable thirst is what I've had the past few weeks of being on and off pregnant. I found drinking orange squash really helped. I've been drinking gallons of the stuff. Although now I'm not preg, I don't feel like I need it. Hormones are a funny thing aren't they. Just switch on and off. Just like that.
I also had terrible metal mouth, and waves of nausea. But that dry mouth thing though.... I had those symptoms only three days after having 'baby sex' for each pregnancy!

Hey Frazzle, I understand you are having a shit time with shit pressure and it just doesn't help you deal with the absolutely longing to be pregnant. I understand it consumed me. You have every right to be fucked off about it. It is not fair. I truly hope your body sorts itself out. I have really found that the longer I was off BC (the implant) the more 'normal' my cycles became. Also as I lost weight things became more normal (lost a stone an a half). I used to spot randomly all the time through my cycle. Quite badly at time, that just got better and better and then I started ovulating now and again....have ovulated for the last 3 cycles. I think the pill has a lot to answer for.

The thirst is amazing it started at around 7dpo and has not stopped I have drunk around 3 litres of water today and still going!

Congrats elle!!! Amazing news. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months. I used to get an urgent thirst while pg with dd. It was like if I didnt get water right there and then I felt like I was going to throw up.

How are you doing shell? Have you caved yet?
And frazzle I'm truly sorry about the shitty time you've had. I won't pretend to understand how a mc feels but i do hate my body for not ovulating. Which isn't the same I know, but I can empathise a little with the feeling.

elle Seeing your BFP's fill me with hope! So very pleased for you. You have to keep us all updated on here, good news spurs us on. Can I ask, what's EPO? Also, is pre seed the same as conceive plus? I have some of that (only used it once though) as I think my CM may be a little hostile. I only ever get thick, creamy CM, so maybe I should try conceive plus this cycle? Funny you should say you have no synptoms of AF coming, that's how I knew I was pregnant with my (almost 7 year old) DD. Had no PMS symptoms or cramping. That's why I hate this TTC business, I know the week before i'm due AF that it's not pregnant cos my symptoms start.

Frazzle I'm so sorry. It must be devastating after seeing that BFP and getting excited. It's torture. You know what they say, new house, new baby. I know it's beyond frustrating, but I think your body needs a little break. If I were in your shoes I would move, get all that sorted, relax in to my lovely new house and then start fresh in June.

Shell You have to test tomorrow if no AF! Really hoping so bad it's a BFP. How many cycles of clomid have you had? X

Hi ladies. Frazzle sorry about what's going on sounds awful.
We had fertility appointment today. My AMH is 137 due to pcos he said this is a good indicator anyway as it seems I have lots of eggs. DH sperm count was excellent (lucky him). Chylamidia (sp) test hadn't returned but he said it's probably negative. He started me on tablet to bring a period then onto clomid. He gave me six months of 50mg. Wants me to have a progesterone test at day 21 and see him again in 6 weeks!

Sounds like a really good appointment meg. Everything sounds positive. Do you just take clomid from after af then?

I'm feeling really crappy that nothing is happening for us at all, although only a week until oh's sa and then we can get into contact about the appointment. I may call again because of the blood tests needing to be less than 6 months old. The oldest ones will be around that now I think so want to check if I need to get them redone. Be just my luck they delayed us again to get those redone otherwise and I think that would do me in!!

village this is my third cycle of Letrozole! Not holding much hope, I think she's on her way and going to make an appearance tonight or tomorrow 😭

mysteriosu yes you take the clomid/Letrozole on day 2 of your cycle fot 5 days and normally a scan on day 10/11 and then bloods day 21. I get scans every two days from day 11 onwards until it's looks as though ovulated.

meg that's great news regarding all results! Hopefully it works quick for you

Thanks guys. I take clomid on days 2 to 6 of AF. I hope it does work. I think the pill has a lot to answer for too , grrr

Yeh the pill defo has a lot to answer for!!! My cycles were fine when I was younger and before went on the pill! Went on the pill for 15 years and then I have ever pcos and finding it so hard to have a prince/princess of my own! I came off the pill and put on two stone also 😠😠

Thanks everyone really appreciate it. EPO is evening primrose oil. Took 1500mg a day. Took 500mg 3 times a day from cd1 until ovulation. I was normally quite dry this month I definitely had increased ewcm. Enough to easily see from my knickers. No internal exam necessary!!! the things we do Main symptoms were a sore throat felt like a cold was coming, it never did but my nose and throat were sore and blocked. I also had a nose bleed from it being blocked. Thought it was Hayfever! Then the thirst struck and has not shifted been around for 4-5 days.

Shell how long since you came off the pill?

Meg All sounds promising. You have the ball rolling now. I never thought of a chlamydia test?! Do you think they would know from my bloods if that was an issue for me? If it was then DP would have some serious explaining to do!

shell What's letrozole? Similar to clomid? How many months worth have they given you?

elle I get very little CM throughout my cycle, and what I do get is creamy. Do you think it's worth me using conceive plus this month?

ADVICE PLEASE!!! Oops, forgot to add, i'm at a wedding this Friday (day time guest) I will be on around day 3 of my cycle so will be taking my clomid. Do you think alcohol will prevent it from working? I rang the nurse and all she said was "we would advise anyone ttc not to drink alcohol at all" Hmm She wouldn't answer when I asked if alcohol had a negative affect on clomid doing its job.
