Evergreen17 · 09/06/2016 06:57

8 months but I was prepared for the long run since I thought I was not ovulating proper eggs.
Very cautious and confused. It is very good news but still confused.

Can I join? Not actively TTC but DH and I have recently reconciled and aren't using protection - which is rather nice as I would welcome a pregnancy though I know there's a risk of doing it by myself as our marriage isn't its strongest however TTC was where our problems began last time 5 years ago so we don't want to get bogged down in the stress of properly trying - just want to enjoy the sex and let nature take its course. I have both endometriosis and PCOS so I know it's not a definite it will happen again but it's nice to be hopeful. I usually have cycles between 31-42 days but have felt twinges which could be ovulating yesterday - I can usually tell when I ovulate now, anyone else able to recognise their ovulating?

Spotsondots · 12/06/2016 21:24

I'm ok thanks shell. Been on holiday the past week which was lovely. Nothing much to report other than getting thrush Sad on the mend now though. Tomorrow is day 42 since last proper period (the first one since MC) or 28 days since weird week of spotting. No idea what's going on cycle wise or if I've ovulated. DH has somewhat I helpfully had some, ahem, performance issues the past few weeks, so it's not been a very productive month in terms of actually DTD. I'll consider testing if I get to day 50 but pretty sure I'm not pregnant. How are you getting on?

susurration · 13/06/2016 22:06

hi everyone, thought I'd stick my head back in to catch up but seems quiet? Where are you all?

evergreen congrats on the BFP.

So i've been feeling very down recently. We had our first clinic appointment on the 10th of May. We basically got told to go away and lose weight. My BMI is far too high, they want it below 30. Which means losing nearly 7st (I am not the size of a house! just short)

So we're back on the 5:2 diet. I've lost 6lbs in four weeks. Pretty pleased but still a really long way to go. Been feeling a bit crap about it. Although more positively I did have a 35 day cycle last time round which is fabulous.

We've decided in the mean time to just do some serious shagging so at the moment every 2-3 days, which is at least fun I guess.

Hope you're all ok.

Hey everyone.. we have a wee WhatsApp group if anyone of you lovely ladies want to join us xx

Hi all, it seems to have gone very quiet on here, suppose you are all chatting using WhatsApp! I must sort out joining you, just not now, taking time off to heal and assess what I want to do next. Wanted to let the lovely ladies who supported me, listened and helped, that unfortunately my pregnancy has ended. At a scan at 10 weeks I was told they suspected a blighted ovum. I had no bleeding or pain. A week later and another scan and it was confirmed, the baby had not developed properly. I had an ERPC which was horrific, the pain I was in after was like I have never experienced before, it kept me in hospital over night! So here I am no longer pregnant and struggling with that fact. I now have very serious doubts that I even want a child. I am making no decisions, my mind changes a million times a day, so have decided to take a couple of months off. Then we will make a decision. Can't leave it to long, I am nearly 39 after all see I can still try and laugh. Anyway's if I get back on this journey I will pop back and update you ladies. All of you take care and I wish you all, each and everyone you, good luck and baby dust, may God grant you your hearts desire. Thanks again x

katherine7172 · 24/06/2016 00:49

Hi all, I see this is a thread for ladies with PCOS. Does anyone have any experience with Metformin as I could use some advice please? X

Poptart21 · 24/06/2016 08:33

Katherine I've been on 1500mg for about half a year. I count my self lucky for not having any side effects from it! To be honest, it makes me wonder if it works for me! I'm not sure if it is what was responsible for bringing my cycle back to a more regular time frame. I've got no complaints about it but do know that some have horrible side effects. Hope this helps xx

elle very sorry to hear your news. We are all thinking of you xxxxxx

katherine7172 · 24/06/2016 11:34

Hi Poptart, thanks for getting back to me.
I'm also on 1500mg, I was just wanting to know how it has worked for you cycle wise? My AF used to be heavy and since being on metformin it has lightened and shortened the length of my AF, which is good. My cycles were between 37-41 before I started metformin, I've now been on it for 4 cycles. The first 3 cycles it was shortened to... 31, 33 and 34. Currently on my 4th cycle with metformin I'm now on day 40 and have had no AF and I tested on day 38 and got a BFN. Just feeling frustrated as I'm unsure as to whether this is normal for metformin or not? Confused

I'd really appreciated any feedback from anyone who has experience with metformin, thaks in advance ladies! Smile

My progesterone blood have been lost! Consultant says that it may not have come back yet but I had it done a week ago! He says it's up to me I can stay on 50 of clomid or increase to 100mg. When I was in the middle of cycle I for Ewcm but negative opk. On day 22 got a positive opk so ? Late ovulation. Would an increase of clomid bring ovulation forward? I don't know what to do
