Oh geek that's wonderful!!!! Congratulations!!! Will you be telling people now?
Hope you celebrate tonight!

Someone brought me a bottle of non alc wine to our BBQ on Sunday. I had been really wanting a glass of cold white. It wasn't too bad...

Imps9 · 07/06/2016 15:32

Oh Geek how lovely!! Well done Geekling! And measuring just one day ahead now - he or she seems to be back on track.

Oooh non-alcoholic white wine - now there's something to consider. I had a sip of Mr Imps' pint on Sunday and it tasted divine. Would happily have finished the whole thing. Alcohol free beer just doesn't cut it for me.

Fab news geek so pleased Flowers

I haven't really felt anything obvious, it probably was just wind the other day!

ControlGeek · 07/06/2016 18:47

Alcohol-free beer is pants imps! The best I tried was Estrella Blue, all the others were too malty.

MrG bought a good alc-free red and white wine a couple of months ago - I haven't drunk alcohol in a couple of years, but they tasted like real wine when I had a glass. I can't remember what brand it was, I think it was something German?

beedle, imps' kicks started out feeling like wind then went quiet for a little while, I am sure you'll be feeling things again very soon!

My work's grapevine is starting to do its job now, though I did get to tell three people myself today which felt nice. One of them was someone who has known about some of my previous losses so really appreciated my history. I'm doing my best to get excited now - it will be the only time I get this experience, so I want to enjoy the next 28 weeks and not look back and feel I wasted them worrying.

keepitgoing · 07/06/2016 21:40

That's right geek enjoy it, you deserve it! Have you told all your families? What about dh's kids? I hope they are suitably excited

I think I look obviously pregnant now! Though no one gave me a seat on the bus today

beedle with kip I ummed and ah'd about what it was for weeks until dh could feel it too at 20wks! It's hard to know what it is. I thought it was feeling my heart beat every now and then. But I honestly have no idea how some women get through the whole of pregnancy without realising, the kicks get pretty bloody obvious!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 08/06/2016 06:21

imps good luck with the scan today

Another dream about the baby last night, it was definitely a boy this time but his Twin was still inside me and I was at the 20 week scan to check it was ok Hmm And again my poor baby had no clothes, only a nappy. I Think my subconcious mind is trying to tell me to start buying stuff for the baby :o

ControlGeek · 08/06/2016 07:46

Thinking of you this morning imps, looking forward to hearing lots of lovely news from you later - with photos!!! Grin

beedle sorry about the dreams, it's odd the bizarre things our minds get up to when we give them free rein. I've only had one like that so far, I dreamed I gave birth prematurely to a girl and we called her Lucretia FGS!!!

Imps9 · 08/06/2016 08:02

Thanks Beedles and Geek. I slept horribly - my mind decided that it was a good night for dredging through absolutely everything I could worry about and spend at least 20 minutes stressing about each thing - including the fact the our neighbours cut down their gorgeous apple tree yesterday meaning there'll be fewer flowers for bees get pollen and nectar next Spring Confused It's just worry about the scan, but come on brain, get a grip.

Ps Geek I love the name Lucretia. It's on our list Grin

BeedlesPineNeedles · 08/06/2016 09:59

imps I Think you need to go onto the baby names board and ask for other similar suggestions as you like Barry-Baxter for a boy and Lucretia for a girl :o

keepitgoing · 08/06/2016 10:04

Good luck imps!!!!

Imps9 · 08/06/2016 10:46

15 mins late already and am now beyond desperate for a wee.

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 08/06/2016 10:53

Can you have half a wee imps?

Imps9 · 08/06/2016 11:20

Barry-Baxter is looking exactly as he should Grin Grin Oh thank god for that. I can't believe our luck!!!

keepitgoing · 08/06/2016 11:22

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 08/06/2016 15:50

Aww how cute is Barry-Baxter Imps?! I'm so pleased everything is going ok Imps. Bless you, I was an absolute state at my 20 week scan. It's hard not to worry but the chances of anything being wrong are so low.

Geek big hugs for you lovely lady! Great news on your 12 week scan and I'm loving all the pics of Geeklette

Trix that 10 weeks seems to have gone quick!

Keep glad everything is going ok for Kip2 Smile

I'm also stuck in a dead end job, back to work in 2 weeks ShockSad

Loopy hope you are doing ok x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 08/06/2016 15:51

How could I forget Beedle?! Is your scan next week? X

Pastamancer · 08/06/2016 21:44

Lovely scan pictures. We are in Butlin's at the moment, it is roasting. DD1 did crossbow today, it was a nightmare trying to get her to aim. DD2 is turning out to be a golf expert, she is hitting the ball with the club pretty accurately which is a bit scary seeing as she is nearly 15 months.

cartoontrickster · 09/06/2016 14:01

Great scan pics geek and imps thems real babies you got there! Congratulations on getting to such big mile stones!

I'm ok with liquids again! Which is great in this weather, and in turn means fruit is more appealing. I had some pineapple the other day (which I rarely have) and it tasted AMAZING. Still feeling sickly though and eating like a horse.
I have a scan on Monday. I also have the date for my nuchal scan I think it was the 29th, so I'm getting there!
keep how far along were you when you told kip?
