I'm not concerned about them getting it as it is good to get it out of the way, my only concern is we are going on holiday on 6th June and I don't want illness to stop us going.

MRI is because my consultant wants to know why my hearing is deteriorating as fast as it is. I'm also going through the referral process for a cochlear implant and you have to have MRI as part of the tests for that too.

keepitgoing · 23/05/2016 16:27

I hope it shows something easily fixable pasta. Can I go back to boobs? Should you get red marks upon removing bra? My new 30Es feel comfy and I think are right except big red marks round rib cage. But the 32 you could pull way out...

MagicBoobLady · 23/05/2016 16:55

Sock marks are normal, painful red ones aren't. How far can you pull the band on the 30s?

Imps9 · 23/05/2016 17:25

Speaking of boobs, how is your new job going MagicBoobLady?

Sorry about your hearing. Must be very frustrating and worrying for you Flowers

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 24/05/2016 08:45

I can pull the 30 a bit, not much. Feels comfy but gives red marks

MagicBoobLady · 24/05/2016 10:21

If you can get 2 fingers underneath then it is not too small. It could be the cups that are causing the problem, do you have any bulges anywhere? Under the armpit, over the top of the cup etc?

Imps9 · 24/05/2016 15:17

How's everyone getting along today?

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 24/05/2016 19:57

I'm so sorry loopy, sending lots of love to you and MrL.

One of mine did that too keep, I've put it down to the style of bra - there's very little padding or cushioning under the wire and it leaves awful red gouge marks by the end of the day, to the point where the next day my bra feels like it's resting on bruises. Other styles of the same size are much more comfy.

Very uncomfortable today, quite crampy and stretchy - I think there's a lot of growing going on at the moment. My back, just under my ribcage, is really achy too but this morning's vomming session was rather violent so I'm thinking I've just pulled a few things. Had some spotting on Sunday (freaked out much? me?!) but nothing since, and the doppler has been an absolute godsend.

I'm half way through my first week of weaning off the meds - I've dropped 50% of my pred, and one of my three estrogen tablets. I can't wait til Saturday when I can drop one of my bum bullets, too!

beedle OMG 7 weeks - are they insane?? And that was for a FET wasn't it? I can't blame you for carrying on, I'd have done the same.

Not too much longer trix, how many weeks are you now?

How're you doing imps? Def practice 'ignore, ignore, ignore' re the family's "advice" about flying.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 25/05/2016 06:57

Geek sorry about the violent vomming, aches and pains, and spotting - it is fucking scary.

It was a completely natural cycle and I'd even had a blood test at 3dpo, because despite ov sticks and Scans they weren't 100% sure I had actually ov'd. So the progesterone was only an extra at my request - but I had been stockpiling it so I had enough to get me to nearly 14 weeks.

I finally told my brother and his family last night. My nieces are very excited at the news, but a little disappointed they have to wait until November (realistically they probably won't meet him or her until next year, unless they can persuade my brother and SIL to come and visit us over the Xmas holidays)

Imps9 · 25/05/2016 11:11

Did anything trigger your violent vomming Geek? I only had two of those sessions: one in response to eating carrot sticks and hummus; the other in response to an apple Confused

Bet your brother was delighted Beedles! It will be worth the wait to meet Beedles Jnr.

How is your SIL Keep? Has she had her 20 week scan yet?

Hope you're doing okay Loops. When are you expecting to drop an egg this month?

keepitgoing · 25/05/2016 11:45

Aw beedle lovely to tell them how old are the kids? I'm sure they'll come out for a snowy Christmas and to meet their new cousin!

It's today imps! She's still vomiting...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 25/05/2016 14:00

They're 13, 10 & 8 keep so soon old enough for babysitting duties!!! It would be Lovely if they came to visit but I'm not sure I'll be ready for 5 houseguests!

My colleague who is on maternity leave came in for a Little visit this afternoon so I have been practicing my baby cuddling :o

Imps9 · 25/05/2016 17:13

Meant to give you a boob update earlier but forgot - I noticed at lunchtime when I was trying on some clothes that my boobs have gone properly veiny and blue. It is so weird to finally be having all those preggo symptoms that I've been reading about for years.

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 25/05/2016 18:50

Arrrggghh I thought I'd posted a message at lunchtime but work's systems were really screwy and ended up blocking every website, work related and otherwise so it's lost :(

beedle I'm sure they will come and visit, they'd be mad not to! And you don't have to put them up yourself, just recommend somewhere cheap and cheerful where they can base themselves.

imps it was because I failed to eat a biscuit after having my morning tablets. An empty stomach does it for me every time - and plan water just makes it even worse! I ate a biscuit and some peanut butter toast as soon as I took tablets this morning and hey presto no vomming... until the drive home from work, when MrG started talking about egg friend rice, less than two minutes after me telling him there were to be no conversations about food. That'll teach the bugger Wink

I've totally forgotten everyone else's posts! Sorry Confused

Tomorrow's scan's been rearranged for Friday afternoon by the clinic - could be worse, they initially offered me next Tuesday!!!

keepitgoing · 25/05/2016 19:50

Smile imps, just Smile for you

beedle you might be glad of family around, I was the first Xmas with kip a similar age. Depends what sort of guests they are, iykwim

Sil had 20 week scan today. All good! But she is still vomming.....

Imps9 · 25/05/2016 20:06

Glad all good with SIL scan Keep! Hope the vomming isn't getting her down. Luckily mine has gone down to only once or twice a week now.

Yeah I think hers isn't too bad either, just takes her by surprise sometimes. When do you fly to Switzerland?

Imps9 · 25/05/2016 21:22

Friday morning! Hoorah! It's supposed to be 26 degs and sunny on Fri, 26 degs and raining on Sat, and 14 degs and raining on Sun. Random weather just like here!

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/05/2016 06:42

They would definitely be nice guests to have, I don't have a nightmare family that you sometimes read about on here! But obviously them visiting me here isn't quite as easy as visiting somewhere in England.

I really want some more jeans but I can't find any that fit. I've got some Lovely overbump jeans but I'm worried they might get a bit too warm so I wanted some underbump ones too. I had a pair from new look that were fine on the legs but huge around the waist - they might fit me in October! and a pair from Dorothy Perkins that were really low at the back so just slid down when I sat down. I've got another pair coming from Asos soon so hopefully they might be a bit better.

I did get some nice tops and a dress that I'll be keeping so it wasn't all bad. And it looks like the weather will be warm all next week so maybe I won't be needing jeans next week - wonder if I can wear my pyjama trousers to work :o

keepitgoing · 26/05/2016 08:34

You're doing well beedle! I have some good under bump ones from top shop, my other pair give me a builder's bum. Jealous of the good weather - summer over here. I know what you mean re visiting, you just want people to be able to pop in for tea rather than stay. I have awful mil issues and yet she has to stay when she visits as she lives far away. When we had kip she should have been cooking, helping etc like my mum but instead sat on couch needing looking after argh. At least this time she can entertain kip

Am starting to fret as not got matb1 form and have to apply for mat leave by 25 weeks. Am 21 but going on hols in 2 weeks. Mw has ignored text since Monday and not answering her phone. Grr.

geek glad you have another scan soon ;)

imps when is your 20 week scan can't be too Work still not discussed when I'm leaving (35 weeks), how long for, who will cover. Bit bizarre.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/05/2016 09:44

I can't really complain though, I stayed with my brother for about 4 weeks when their eldest was a couple of months old as I was working nearby. Only mon-thurs but I was sleeping on the sofa. At least we have spare rooms in our house, and we can banish everyone to the basement if they all get a bit much!

We haven't even thought about when I want to stop working or when I want to come back, or how long MrB will have paternity leave. I don't even know when i need to decide by! Perhaps I should stop expecting something to go wrong and start planning for what happens if Everything goes right!

yes imps my scan is 3 weeks yesterday so yours must be soon

And after my earlier moan about lack of trousers I managed to order some dark linen trousers, so if they fit I Think I might be ok for clothes for a while. Do you have Zalando in England, so far they've been better than Asos for me, and quicker!

cartoontrickster · 26/05/2016 09:44

Sounds like your building up quite a good wardrobe beedle do you have your jojo top ? Mine arrived yesterday.
Did your sil find out the sex keep? Glad all is well.
So I'm 8wks now had my booking in yesterday. Midwife confirmed that I'm under the consultant again (previous mcs and because N was small ) so will be looked after and given extra scans. We also touched on the fact that the birth will be quicker this time eek! I thought it might be different if I had a natural labour this time and was induced last time but apparently not! N was around 2hours start to finish, I had no pain relief at all as there wasn't time!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/05/2016 10:00

trix that's really quick for an induction isn't it? Yippee for being a MWEPP and for getting extra Scans.

My top arrived at my parents on Sat and she forwarded it onto me on Monday, so should arrive today or tomorrow. It only cost her £5 postage - I told her it was her first present to the baby :o One of the tops I have just received is the short sleeved version in Navy, it fits quite nicely so I'm glad keep tipped us off!

Pastamancer · 26/05/2016 10:03

Can you get braces over there Beedles? That might help your trousers to stay up :)

BeedlesPineNeedles · 26/05/2016 10:10

:o pasta actually MrB found a pair in his drawer and offered them to me at the weekend - he told me he had bought them back in the 90s when he got his 1st mobile phone from his job - it was so big and Heavy he needed something to keep his trousers up :o
