a floaty^ blouse. A floating blouse would be impractical.

imps you never fail to make me laugh Grin
Sickness is mild if there at all really thank God! So we've established I'm loving food at the moment, but liquids not so much I'm love hate with tea at the moment which is usually very much a love relationship and no matter how thirsty I am I cannot bear to gulp down even plain water. Most strange.
I need another scan and drip in a couple of weeks but they had no availability Shock so am waiting for someone to call when they do have space.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 16/05/2016 14:10

A floating blouse could be good for hiding the bloat/babybump as long as it didn't float off over your head leaving you naked.

Imps9 · 16/05/2016 14:42

Ohhh yes liquids were difficult when I was sick. Water was the worst - I'd bring that straight back up. Coffee too. Tea was okay as was camomile tea (no other herbal teas though). Chocolate nesquik was the best at staying down though, closely followed by orange squash.

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 16/05/2016 15:00

Chocolate nesquik and orange squash both are yukky! Envy (vom face)
Has your sickness gone now?

Imps9 · 16/05/2016 15:08

Both are like nectar sent from heaven!

Yes, vomming seems to have completely gone. Even my morning ritual of copious-dry-heaving-accompanied-by-vom-on-occasions cleared up about 3 days ago. It feels great to be back to normal!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 16/05/2016 15:55

At last imps hope it stays away

My early pregnancy tiredness seems to have returned, I thought I was supposed to be full of energy in the 2nd trimester!

Pastamancer · 16/05/2016 16:07

Have you had your iron checked recently Beedles? I was very tired and it was because my iron was too low. They picked that up at my diabetes test

cartoontrickster · 16/05/2016 16:54

beedlesunfortunately I'm not sure that's entirely true!
Ladies I feel like shite I hope I perk up once I'm home from work at the moment I love to go home and crawl straight into bed but that's not going to happen! Helpfully my mum informed me at 4ish that N was having a late nap so bed time will be a struggle! We all have this cold at the moment plus dh's gout is playing up so I can't really get dh to do most of the bedtime routine.

Imps9 · 16/05/2016 17:10

Trix I know this is probably quite an insensitive thing to post given your most recent post, but I've just remembered that tonight's dinner is already made (thanks to the wonder of the slow-cooker) and I already hung the laundry out to dry this morning! Yesssssss - no chores for me when I get home, I can just sit and crochet until bedtime!!!

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 16/05/2016 17:21

Well, I'm also insensitive as my dinner is in the oven and I'm laying on the sofa!

pasta my iron levels were checked at 11 weeks and I think they were fine, I don't see the midwife again for another 5 weeks. But I can go to see her again before that if I'm worried, I think I'm probably just being a bit lazy!

Imps9 · 16/05/2016 17:25

I still do get really tired. I put it down to B-B having a growth spurt and sapping my energy to do that. Although more likely it's because I'm lazy.

Loopy I'm so sorry about the line sweetheart. Sending you lots of love. I've also heard of the connection between infection/oral health and fertility, so well done for getting the tooth sorted since the antibiotics haven't done the trick.

Majorly I can only repeat what the others have said, as scary as an early scan is, it's the only way to know for sure what's going on. Spotting is terrifying, I've had my fair share, so always ready to hand hold while you wait for an appointment.

I'm with you there trix, I'm constantly grazing all day to try and fend off the nausea but the second I stop eating it all comes back. Plain water also makes me feel sick, but while I still can't bear even the thought of coffee, I can now drink tea - very odd, as I really dislike tea normally! I'm off so many types of food though - the only thing I can stomach during the day are carbs, and from 6pm onwards I can't even bear them, it's got to be protein.

imps how long has it taken for your bloating to go down? It was weeks ago you came off the progesterone wasn't it? I do believe we are overdue a bumpie from you and keep!

My tummy's so bloated and sore from bruising that I bit the bullet and bought a pair of over-bump tights to try out. First thing I did this morning? Put my thumb through the supposedly reinforced gusset. That was £6 well spent!

I took the risk of buying a doppler this weekend, fully expecting to not get any use/reassurance from it for a few weeks yet. Less than 10 minutes of searching and I found a heartbeat! I think Geekling was having a nap as it was 'only' 169bpm Grin

cartoontrickster · 16/05/2016 20:02

Dinner was not even thought about never mind made and wet washing still in the machine. Can't really complain though because dh cooked and washed up. As hoped I felt a bit better once I was home N's gorgeous face does help.
Although I had a bit of a cry because dh mentioned that his dad wanted to get them tickets to a football game over the bank hol weekend, not really a good time to ask when I feel shitty and tired because of course I said 'no I don't want you to' Yes I probably am being unreasonable!

Yay geek we loved using ours and will dig it out again but not for another few weeks at least!

Imps9 · 16/05/2016 20:30

Ohhh Trix it's horrible feeling rubbish and lacking in oooomph. You are not being unreasonable at all. There there lovely

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 17/05/2016 07:09

imps you are amazing. I'm rubbish when I'm tired and poorly , I like to lie in my bed and be waited on till I feel better.
Dh was asleep before N last night Angry

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 17/05/2016 07:21

Ok so now I don't know what to think. DH bought 2 real definitely not fake FRER's yesterday. Used one with FMU and there is a clearer pink line, still fainter than I think it should be at 14 dpo but it's definitely progressed from the even fainter ones from the last couple of days. Done my best Imps on the photo, although I can never seem to get a photo that shows them as well as when I look at them in real life!

So now I don't know what to do. I'd written this one off in my head. I had a tooth removed yesterday so not sure when clexane would be ok to start taking. I wasn't wanting to take progesterone this cycle but what if this is meant to be my rainbow baby and it's just implanted late and needs the progesterone to extend literal phase for it to properly implant. But what if I take progesterone and lose it like the rest. My biggest niggle is that since handing my uterus to the doctors, and them telling me what to take, I've had 6 early losses. (After the 3 MC's before i got into their system)

We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.
Loopyaboutmy2boys · 17/05/2016 07:26

And sorry but my brain can't cope with reading the other posts I've missed. will try and catch up properly soon. Last nights dream involved me breastfeeding in a restaurant and being told that the baby had to eat a sausage and veg or it couldn't eat at the restaurant and then me going up to angelina jolie and brad Pitt who happened to be eating there too, and asking her to campaign for the rights of breastfeeding mothers and that it was totally unreasonable for them to expect a 7 week old baby to eat a sausage. Am exhausted today!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 17/05/2016 07:53

loopy if its any help wierd dreams have been a pregnancy symptom for me! The clexane might not be a good idea, but I doubt the progesterone would do anything bad at this stage.

keepitgoing · 17/05/2016 08:16

Is your tooth still bleeding? If not I'd have thought clexane fine, but phone your clinic. Brooking it implanted a little late. Sending lots of love

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 17/05/2016 09:45

Slightly clearer close up. Trying to stay positive that it's not over as definitely progression from the tests over the weekend, but my head keeps blasting back that at 14 dpo it should be a stronger/darker line...

We are jolly well going to get and stay diffed this month and we are BROOKING NO ARGUMENT.
Imps9 · 17/05/2016 09:55

Loops, I disagree that it should be a darker line. There are no rules! Have you seen this analysis of strength of FRER positives by DPO? www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/brand-chart.php?hptbrandid=1

Re: progesterone, I can't help feeling that if you did take it and this one didn't stick around, you'd always have at the back of your mind whether it was the progesterone which may have contributed towards it. Your body will be producing progesterone because you ovulated naturally and are pregnant - I'm not sure I see the benefit of taking it.

Trix poor show from your DH! You need at least 5 days off because of that. I forget if you work or not - if you do why not take a day's sick leave to recharge your batteries a bit?

Annoying re: maternity tights Geek! For the first time today I'm trialling wearing normal ones under my bump to see if they fall down or not. So far, despite feeling like they're about to fall down they are in fact staying put. Not particularly comfy though.

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 17/05/2016 10:01

That's what I'm doing with tights imps though it gives a funny outline. Tights are so expensive!!

loopy I agree with imps, with kip my line was faint 14dpo but blood test that day the levels were quite good. You've been dubious re progesterone so why not give it a miss and then at least if it doesn't work that'd be one less thing to wonder about

I've just had pickled onion monster munch aldi cheap copy omg so good but I could eat another 10 bags!

cartoontrickster · 17/05/2016 13:52

loopy I don't think you should read to much into the darkness of the test. I bet if you compared it to some done by other women at the same dpo they would all look different.
imps dh took your advice and is off sickness today! I'm off too though, I only work Mondays and Thursday's, I sat around in my pjs till gone 9am and didn't bother taking N to toddler group. Feel much better from having a lazy morning.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 17/05/2016 13:55

Thanks for that link Imps. I was unaware that FRER had changed and weren't giving as dark lines as they used to. When I got bfp with ds2 in Jan 2012 they were so reliable and clear strong dark lines. Not like my line today and that was my basis for judging the line today. Will keep everything crossed that I am still in with a chance this cycle. I emailed prof B re clexane and he suggested holding off until had a scan in the next 7-10 days (assuming I don't bleed first) which would be their standard protocol to wait for a location scan before starting clexane. Will see how next couple of days go first...
