Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like 'something' = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

kwick sending you lots of hugs

FuzzyOwl · 22/04/2016 19:58

Also sending you lots of hugs Kwick. Take all the time you need for yourself. Flowers

How thoughtless angel. Sorry to hear others are having a bad time as well. I hope this thread starts to get much happier news soon.

Kwick709 · 23/04/2016 08:46

Btw I meant to say angel that FB can be evil - I have stopped using it now (and I did not even experience any baby bombs).

GundogFrankie · 23/04/2016 11:39

Kwick hope you start to feel physically more comfortable soon, glad to hear you have your Mum looking after you ❤️

Ditsy are you being retested? I had my first 21 day bloods done last month but it was the first of 3 tests because the doctor said it's difficult to test on the right day because of variations in cycle length. Because of my long cycles mine was done on day 25 - that should have been 7 days before AF due but then I had a 35 day cycle so the test was done 3 days early (similar to you). My results were that ovulation hasn't been detected too, so need to see what the next 2 tests say. Have you got an appointment with the doctor booked?

Canters15 · 24/04/2016 11:25

Hows everyone doing on here?

justtheonethen · 24/04/2016 13:13

I'm hungover to hell! How is everyone else?

Ditsy79 · 24/04/2016 13:56

Thanks Gundog - I haven't spoken to the GP yet, just the receptionist but am assuming they will want to repeat the bloods. I am going to phone the surgery tomorrow.

corgi88 · 24/04/2016 14:20

Ah just my trusty drinking companion. I too am hungover to hell. I fear for my life. Send tea and bacon sandwiches please

corgi88 · 24/04/2016 14:30

kwick hope you are doing OK. Take as long as you need off, obviously it's different for everyone but don't go back before you're ready.
Last night I sang karaoke and danced on tables Blush
Hope everyone else has been better behaved than me and is doing OK! We are having a bit of a shit month aren't we. Onwards and upwards my viroid warriors!

ChatEnOeuf · 24/04/2016 15:13

Angel how utterly awful. I've moved away from FB too. One of my lowest moments last year was being tagged in someone else's BFP. Broke me it did, so soon after losing DS.

Corgi that sounds like an excellent night out.

Today I've done a 7km hill walk followed by pub lunch. Good cure for a hangover. My body still thinks it's pregnant, so that's about as fucked as my head is.

NameChange30 · 24/04/2016 15:52

Nothing to report except that I have a cold and AF is late but there is no chance I'm pregnant!

Chat I can't believe how insensitive that was, so soon after your loss as well. People will never cease to amaze me!
Hope your hormones calm down soon Flowers

angelazul · 24/04/2016 16:13

Wow Chat that has to be the height on insensitivity Shock

Kwick glad you've got your mum looking after you, mums are the absolute bestest Star

Corgi good for you , hope the hangover goes easy on you. You too Just

Nothing much to report here, got over my self-pitying stage, had a very chilled weekend. Starting to get my PMA & cape back on again Grin Things can only get better for us vidroids!!!!

Canters15 · 24/04/2016 17:04

Christ on a bike chat that is insensitivity of the highest order.

Corgi and just Grin good work!

Catscatsandmorecats · 24/04/2016 19:54

Hello Viriods, I hope those of you with hangovers are feeling better now and you are enjoying a lazy Sunday evening.

Chat & Angel People just do not think, I have become so much more aware of being sensitive to others but then I have seen friends going through awful times so I never want to be thoughtless. On that note, the pregnant lady symbol is still on the ladies loo at work. Two of the preggos are in HR and know my pregnancy is no longer viable but haven't moved it, I don't want to be a spoil sport and so it myself.

Kwick I am thinking of you lots and I am pleased you are past the procedure and being looked after. Give yourself time xx

My body doesn't know the baby hasn't survived and it is clinging on to the pregnancy will great enthusiasm. I have terrible nausea and tiredness still and am stupidly hormonal. Even though I know categorically there is no hope I can't bring myself to have a drink. I have my second NHS scan on Tuesday so that they are able to confirm then will be able to have the MVA procedure on Wednesday. I just want it over now.

Ain626 · 24/04/2016 22:08

Viroids, I've read back a little, and so sorry to hear I've walked back in to a bit of a shit time. Hugs all round to those that need them!

I am currently experiencing some light bleeding and not sure what day to put myself on. I know cd 1 should be from the first day of bleeding, not spotting, but seeing as my natural bleeds are pretty light not sure when to count from... a natural bleed in my case has to be a good thing. And my spotting started 14 days after suspected ovulation. Trying to cling on to the positives!

ScottishLady7 · 25/04/2016 12:22

Hi viroids,

Welcome back ain!

Can I ask for some advice / hooyahs as appropriate?
I'm currently CD9 but my last period was a bit weird - had a tiny spot of blood on cd 32 then bleeding started 3 days later and lasted for only 3 days before I had brown spotting for 4 days. Normally cycle between 28-33 days and bleed for 5 days.

I've been feeling nauseous, having pre-AF type cramps and some ?EWCM on Friday and after a particularly emotional weekend I thought I'd do a FRER this morning just to see...
TL:DR weird period, MiL made me cry, I assume I must be upduffed rather than just unable to deal with my MiL.

There is definitely something there but it is very faint and it might have some colour to it BUT surely if there was anything there it would be showing more definitely by now?

I would appreciate brutal honesty and hooyahs if needed- I have lost all perspective. Just not sure whether I should sit tight and wait for my next AF or whether I should see the GP for a serum HCG?
Confused

FuzzyOwl · 25/04/2016 12:31

Can you upload a picture Scottish? Some women seem to take ages to get a BFP when they are pregnant. I don't have a huge amount of implantation bleeding but when I have had (two occasions) it has only lasted over two days and has been somewhere between heavy spotting and AF. You do have lots of pregnancy symptoms though although I have always believed that once you have enough hcg in your system for these symptoms, you will get a positive test but other women's experiences have proved this wrong. No hooyahs from me but perhaps try using another frer towards the end of the week? Gx for you.

Hope everyone else who is struggling and gone through such an awful time is doing as well as you can.

ScottishLady7 · 25/04/2016 12:49

Just for you Fuzzy - I don't know if you'll be able to see anything but at least then I'll have my answer!

FuzzyOwl · 25/04/2016 12:55

I'm sorry Scottish, but I can't see anything. But, squinters are notoriously difficult to photograph. Try again later in the week?

justtheonethen · 25/04/2016 13:20

Sorry scottish can't see anything but as fuzzy says squinters are hard to see. Try again in a couple of days?

justtheonethen · 25/04/2016 13:20

ScottishLady7 · 25/04/2016 13:21

As I suspected. Definitely something to see IRL but experiences from similar posts of others suggests there's probably nothing there.

justtheonethen · 25/04/2016 13:22

Sounds quite promising though!

ScottishLady7 · 25/04/2016 13:42

Thank you for the optimism just!
I'm trying not to think anything of it, particularly as lots of people seem to be reporting more indents/evaps on FRERs recently.
Having said that the line that I saw did appear straight away so you never know...
I shall, as ever, keep you all posted!

angelazul · 25/04/2016 16:56

Scottish I think I can maybe see the slightest hint of a line in the 2nd pic. As just & fuzzy said, maybe try again in a couple of days? Gx it's good news!!
