So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Ah feeling very very emotional today! Yay PMS must be here! Starting to tear up at the silliest things, like a programme where they used a shock collar to train a dog! If that Lloyd's advert comes on I'm done for!!

Parney, I'm really dreading going back... but it will be an excellent distraction from this stuff! I haven't been missing the 70 hour weeks during these weeks off (even though I have been doing a couple hours work most days)! I really don't know how I would do it with a little one in tow! Only one FT mum of young 'uns at my school!

I just wanted to ask - I have ordered OPK's that have arrived today!
I have a feeling I ovulate early - when is it best to start using them? I know it is generally 14 days from when AF ends,or am I wrong??? Advise please. I am currently CD8!

Hi remember!
Smep recommends testing from cd10... However if you think you ovulate early maybe try a bit earlier? Cd8 or something.

If I don't ovulate until Friday then my lp will only be 10/11 days if I have a 26 day cycle again. That's not really long enough is it? Hopefully it is 28 days like the one before

Sorry just seen your are on cd8.... Maybe start tomorrow. 2pm is optimum time but can be done between 12 and 8pm. Sometimes you need to do more than one a day though.

My cycle has been ranging from 24 -31 days therefore I am not sure what's been going on! I'm probably going to start tomorrow and see how I get on. I will probably do one OPK around 2ish and then again in the evening. I just don't want to miss the fertile window this month!

My ovulation pains have started now ... Need to Dtd but being in the mood when you have pain is difficult. Why does this happen when your body needs you to Dtd now yet it causes you pain so you don't want to!

AF still a no-show on CD35 (12dpo, and last cycle I only had an 8 day LP), even though it still feels imminent. Longest cycle recently was 37 days, so in the very unlikely event I am pregnant, will take a test on Saturday if she is still a no-show!

Temps are up and down - this month is not a very good biphasic chart...

RaddersMrs, yes the Ov spike can go up and then has to come down so mine last month was over 4 days I found.

Blood results came back that I have high fsh levels. I'm hoping it's because I just come off the pill 2 months back so things are not properly working. Doc suggests i could b pre menopausal? I didn't take the news very well and not going to give up hope as I still get ov symptoms and positive tests, still have period. Definitely have no pre menopausal symptoms yet. I'm 38, so am worried, but going to give it my best shot.

Breakfast consisted of 6 Brazil nuts, yoghurt, blueberries, pineapple and an orange juice. (Think I might buy the choc coated Brazil nuts next time ;) trying everything now..

Anyone have wheatgrass?

Also Royal jelly? Is that good too?

Hi newbie here! Have been trying to get pregnant for the first time and just taken another negative test : ( It's really getting me down and I feel as though my body is letting me down every month. I'm 32 and put off having children earlier for my career (BIG mistake for me!!) All my friends with children are telling me to relax and not worry about it but everyone at work keeps asking if I'm pregnant yet and every time I could cry!

I woke up and jumped out of bed and forgot to temp so I had moved about a bit and got a temp of 35.37. Would this be void for today as I didn't do it as soon as I woke up???
