So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Morning all... Another CD..

So today I woke up temp same as yesterday still above my coverline on my chart, but have AF type cramps, unless I'm going to randomly attempt another ovulation? Or too much pina colada without the alcohol??! I do fancy one of those actually sucha.
cm is creamy and not dried up yet? But Really think AF is on way :((( it would be early if it happened today as not entirely sure what ov date to follow? Praying the cramps disappear or if it's pregnancy pains then bring it on!!

Jod-* I have had the occasional glass of prosecco but that's ok as it's mainly bubbles!! Hoping the sperm would be floating around in the bubbles!

Anyone testing today?? Lost track who's up next?! I'm not going to test this week, as think it's worth me holding off whilst I have the date mix up. Does everyone's temp go down on day of AF or before?

I think I used to see my temps decline about 2 mornings before AF arrived, there's been an occasion when the drop didn't hit until the morning of AF too. Staying above coverline is a good sign!! I used to get scared of taking my temp when AF approached, was almost like doing a hpt, the disappointment of seeing the drop! xx

We could run a list of test dates, to keep track?

My test date is 20 May.

Sounds really promising Footprints, I had cramps from 10 dpo and at that stage I was sure AF was on her way. It was only when they worsened and I still had CM that I became a tiny bit hopeful that things were different.

Jod, I don't know if this was another thing that contributed to BFP this month but I didn't drink at all this cycle. I literally had a night out, then AF came the following morning. The way things worked out I had no alcohol from CD 1 onwards. It's not that I'm a big drinker otherwise but not unusual for us to have 2/3 nights out a month.

afternoon all, need you help!

CD28 due AF tomorrow. Thought I would do an OPK as thats what I am starting on next month and so just for fun thought I would try one anyway it was positive (green strip)?! So now done two preg tests? What do you think - I literally feel nothing different to normal - whats happening????

OPKs can pick up hcg hormone, and looks like those 2 hpts have confirmed it!!!! Looks pretty clear to me, so I'm saying congratulations!!!!

Thanks Tee I was doing the OPK to give me something to think about ready for next month so am/was convinced this month was a no - now my mind is spinning as I just dont think it can be true!

radders I would test day after af is due hun. How are you doing?

Have you any DC already January? I don't and I think I've been shaking since Saturday! I felt like AF was about to start too, I think it's normal.
Radders I left it until morning after AF due.

Have to admit I was hoping you would tell me you all had a few drinks. I don't get out coz I have the kids but I do enjoy a vino a couple of evenings a week when hubby is off.

For the first time since having the Mirena removed I don't feel AF is coming, I'm not ovulating and I don't feel PG I feel very "normal" and it's annoying. After Ovulation symptoms subsided yesterday I don't feel anything so I have an inkling I'm out and hopefully AF appears on or before the 7th so I can attempt to work out where I am in my cycle. I really thought after Mirena I would experience some bleeding soon

No dc parney so no idea what this is meant to feel like, I'm still not convinced but am keeping my fingers crossed. Feel like Af is about to start so guess I just need to wait a few days and see how things progress. How are you feeling now?

Been trying a couple of months jod and still don't feel like it can be true! I feel very normal so maybe this is good sign for you too!

Is good that u got a positive on the cheapy test as I read somewhere they are not that sensitive. U must have lots of hcg So that's great!

AF would have been due this Friday if first date so if I get any more symptoms I may test but hoping to hold out until 6th May.
I don't feel hopeful at all today.

January I felt soooo normal with my DS, until well after 12 week scan, so it took that for it to really feel real! The only thing that kept me believing is that I wasn't having periods.
I think I'm having a weird cycle! As you know, started AF 2-3 days early (based on very regular 27-28 day cycles). Now seemed to have stopped bleeding (was very heavy for 3 days, but I'm usually a good 5 days). AF wasn't due until today/tomorrow, and it's already left! Just did an opk, and a very visible test line. All very strange for me, I reckon I might ovulate super early, so just going to keep testing every day, and the DTD started last night. Can't afford to mess up this month!! xx

I'm feeling good January thanks! Tingly boobs today, embracing any little symptom I can! Have you told your partner? The tests aren't telling lies, no need for convincing! In saying that I have tested at least once every day since Saturday

CD 16 13/5?? according to FF... Think last month has really thrown it out of whack!

Still no sign of Ov... this wait is horrendous! Has anyone successfully shortened their pre-ov time? Neg OPKs and low temps holding super steady (weirdly steady for me!). Work has me super tired, but probably should dtd tonight. FF has my fertile phase starting Thursday, with likely Ov from Monday -Wednesday. Who knows??? Yay for bank holiday Monday!

Ladies, opk test from today, what do you think?

Congratulations January that's a definite BFP, wishing you a sticky bean.

I have a few drinks too Jod, who knows how long this ttc is going to take and I enjoy a glass of wine, going to have enough time without it anyway. Maybe feeling normal is the best way to be, I don't think those girls with BPFs have much in the way of symptoms.

I'm CD 23 5 days PO and testing the 3rd of May or there abouts.
