So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Hope everyone else is well?

We DTD twice last night and plan to do it again tonight and tomorrow.

This morning I did an OPK and I'll post the pic below. I had one last FRER left and decided to do it an a line appeared straight away....BUT on closer inspection it's another indent line. I really really think FRER are rubbish at the minute!! I don't think any of the lines I have seen have been positive. I think they are really bad quality at the minute and I am going to write to them with the picture evidence.

So this OPK looks lighter...I will test again at midday or so

Thanks Mimi, January and Jod, I'm having difficulty processing it here! DH was a bit dubious of the ICs, he thought they were faint so I did the digi.
I've just had a lot of cramping since Tuesday, skin is hot to touch and nipples are sensitive. I did an IC Wednesday and it was BFN, so the 2-3 weeks on digi,4 days later has me a bit floored?!
I had Brazil nuts daily, this cycle and have avoided alcohol completely. In terms of Dtd we did it morning of positive OPK and the night after. Other than that we were outside FW.
Jod I'm impressed at your Dtd!! Twice a night! My OPKs don't fade, just disappear. Think tee's gradually fade though! Keep doing what you're doing. Thrilled you've caught the surge!

Those are strong positives on the IC's parney no magnifying glass required for those! Maybe more than one little bean in there Parney?!

I hope we have caught our little egg now. Keeping everything crossed well actually I'm not keeping my legs crossed for obvious reasons.

Anyone else get sore Boobs after ovulation? And a bit a cramping? I have both today.

I have cramps today Jod . Woke in the night and felt slightly nauseous with bloated tummy feeling. Cramps today, almost premenstrual.

OH wasn't up for it last night! I'm moody today now as was hoping to catch egg this time but now think I've missed it.
Dtd yesterday morning though. OH is playing up as he doesn't like all this preparation and so feel deliberately keeping away from me now

Jod -Don't blame u regarding FRER that's terrible! I have two here and think I won't be relying on them.

Parney!!!!! I'm so delighted for you!!! The first person to respond to me on this board!!! Lovely strong positives too. So the hot skin means something for you too. So did the cramps you had/are having feel the same as AF? I know they started a lot earlier than your usual ones, but do they feel the same?
I started cramping in the night, feels very much like AF is on her way, but you've given me hope.

Radders I'm so sorry about what you're going through, it's horrible to have that hope taken away no matter how early, I felt the same with my mc, although I was only 5 weeks gone. Conception must have happened, because you had the lines so your body was producing hcg. You'll probably be more fertile now as your body is all geared up for pregnancy, so this next cycle could be the one. I've been taking aspirin since my mc as they say that helps with implantation. My theory with me was that conception happened but perhaps the bean couldn't implant. I've been on brazil nuts and fresh pineapple every day of my LP.

Jod, Parney is right, my opks tend to build up to a positive, then fade back afterwards, so it really does help to pinpoint when the peak was. Well done keeping up the momentum with DTD through all this confusion, you are bound to catch that little egg!!

Footprints your OH is being very naughty not cooperating! I've had a few spells with my hubby like that, and it puts me in a mood too! So hard though because you can't stay in a mood, and just have to gently lure them back into a DTD mood!! They are such buggers, I mean really they have quite an easy deal when it comes to TTC, the least they can do is oblige when necessary!!
We've been 5 months trying now, so I think DH is starting to realise maybe he needs to go with my flow now as its not happening instantly as he assumed it would.

Radders What Tee is saying makes sense and I've heard of it happening straight away for others. We're here to listen.

Footprints my DH is the same. He was of the assumption that we were in with a shout Dtd at any stage of the month! I had to pin him down on the right days.I know what you mean about being in a mood and the battle between staying cross or attempting seduction again! Us poor ladies!
Tee my cramps were stronger and lower down, don't seem to exist in the morning. I hadn't had cramps after being on the pill for so long. So I was still only getting used to those being back in the first place!

Congrats Parney ! When was AF due? 2-3 weeks on a digital is 2-3 weeks after conception and the usual leuteal phase is two weeks.

Who is next to test? Is it you January? or Tee?

Well done Jod you can symptom spot with me in the 2ww. My temp finally went up today, I need three for ff to be sure. I've not had any cramping but have had sore nips.

Footprints my Dh was cooperating but he said if he heard anything about fertile weeks then he would deliberately not dtd then.

I'm going to get my hair cut. It's a glorious day here but cold.

I think I said it yesterday parney but I had really strong AF like cramps in both my PG's which lasted quite a few weeks! Have you googled Twins yet?

nimisha and footprints you are my 2ww buddies right? My symptoms today...lots of EWC, cramping (like AF), tingling nipples, slight nausea, mild headache - tired too likely from effort DTD last night

Ps I have never charted my temperature. If I don't have success this time around I might try that

I started miscarrying in the night so full blown bleeding now. I'm happy it's come so soon and didn't have to wait.

It's weird really because if I had waited until this morning for FMU to test on digital I wouldn't have got a negative and just found out by the bleed. Weird how it all happened the same day.

I feel heartbroken and have cried a lot but just going to try and look at the positives. Which are

1. I know We can conceive together
2. It's only 2nd month of trying
3. I know what We did to conceive so I can do the same this month

The tests were definitely positive. I've looked at them again.
The bleed is different to AF anyway so I can tell and the cramps hurt.

tee thanks for the advice. I bought pineapple and Brazil nuts and didn't really touch them. Maybe I should've.

I knew something wasn't right as I think I mentioned to you guys I was worried as the line got darker then stopped.

Nimisha I'm due AF in Tuesday, so will test Wednesday if she doesn't show.
Radders great attitude to have, that's how I felt about my mc, at least I knew we could conceive, so just keep going with it, it does make you long for it more though, so try and stay relaxed and positive. The bleed also felt different to a normal AF, I really suffered with cramps and lots of clots. Luckily cycle went straight back to normal and I ovulated 2 weeks later, but I know a lot of woman can have a slightly longer following cycle, so watch out carefully for ovulation signs, might happen a bit later than usual xxx

I'm kicking myself now for not taking pineapple and nuts but to be honest I thought once I got positive test implantation had occurred.

It's a very low dose aspirin, so look for one that's 81mg or less, I found a 75mg one in Tescos and take that daily with folic acid. But it's also know as baby aspirin or junior aspirin.
Don't beat yourself up, I guess some things aren't meant to be, we are all learning, so you have new things to try this cycle!
My mc was at the beginning of March, so this is my 2nd cycle since that, and 5th cycle in total. I forced pineapple and brazils down even though I'd been really poorly straight after ovulation, because someone from another thread said they had before their BFP!

That's a really positive way of seeing it radders. Yes a majorly good sign that you know you can conceive - half the battle won. Hopefully next time your uterus will be all ready to host for 9 months take care of yourself and have a good cry if you need to. I had a good day of tears Thursday when AF came!

Did another OPK last night and it was negative again but gonna keep testing every day as I don't want to miss it!

Had an argument with DH this morning where he said it was going OTT and that I should just relax and if it happens, it happens, bloody men!

Hi racja had a similar discussion with Mr Physicskate last night! I feel like I've been ready for this for years (well, two really) so I really just want one now! And when I get impatient, boy do I!!

I think he has a better understanding now though cause we dtd last night even though we are generally too knackered by a Friday night! Negative OPK today. I think my stressful job is what has been playing havoc, considering I haven't been on hormonal contraception for years!

radders I am so so sorry - that is so sucky! It probably doesn't help, but many early MCs are caused by chromosomal abnormalities... We are all rooting for you!

physicskate same here, he already has a daughter from previous marriage so he's not bothered, he just wants things to 'happen naturally', it's like he doesn't get how much this means to me. Got myself really upset this morning and now he's being extra nice!

Tee, my lax husband was of the opinion it would happen when it would! I was geared for o on CD 16 like last cycle so was taken by surprise with positive OPK on CD 12, and we hadn't really done it in lead up to FW. We dtd CD6, CD 13 (morning after positive), CD 14 (night) and then I didn't feel up for it again! Until CD 20ish. I thought we had little to no chance as hadn't done it until pos OPK.
3rd cycle since pill and first cycle we really Dtd in FW. I genuinely found TTC put DH off Dtd as tmi we were quite active before! Despite him being the one to initiate coming off the pill.
Now would be CD 27, AF was due this morning. Thanks Everone!!!! Jod I'm afraid to Google about twins!! Digi is correct as I'm 14 dpo, just the IC being so white and negative last wed!

Trying to stay up beat but so tired today cos I was up in the night crying and didn't really sleep.
My dad is over and he's saying I'm in a state today and is everything ok ...! I'm not telling him anything though... He doesn't know we are ttc and I don't want to wreck the surprise when we can tell him he will be a grandad.

Tee you're quite good with temps, mine was 36.30 this morning so that must be by pre ovulation sort of range. I am going to temp this month and do some opks around CD12. Try and dtd as much as possible again

Feeling positive for everyone else. Sounds like most of you dtd at the right time
