So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Just had a sizeable amount of creamy not quite egg white though discharge?!
Maybe I'm going to ovulate!

For me just before ovulation I'm dry and then it goes sticky but clear, and the EWCM. The creamy stuff is more post ovulation and when you are pregnant I thought? I could be wrong..?
My previous pregnancies I never really got much creamy CM until I actually was pregnant.

Oh sucha 😥 I really think I'll be joining you. AF due Saturday and I have had terrible cramps since Tuesday. Checked with my ovia app for March and I had these cramps on the day of AF. Lots and lots of DTD next month???? Focused! Then again the two BFPs of the thread came about differently? Radders were you almost smep? And new hair just once? Wow! I can't wait to hear more about your little beans!

I haven't done anything today (apart from surf the web and be on here)!

I was just looking at some plants that I planted a few weeks ago from seeds and that they have sprouted up and growing nicely. Wouldnt it be great if it was that simple.. Swallow the seeds (from a packet!) and then boom..

I struggle to find the FRER here Jod! Weird although you've just reminded me that I've two digi tests at home! They're not very sensitive though so will wait to see if AF shows!

Jod that's really strong isn't it. So either you are about to ovulate or you are pregnant. Creamy mucus comes when pregnant mainly I would say though. Could you not go the doctor for a blood test?

Waiting for digital to arrive. Hopefully it will come tomorrow. New hair - did you do it on FMU? Even if it comes tomorrow I might wait until Saturday morning to do it on FMU.
Yea I dtd lots to be honest...so would've been sperm there all the time.
I think you must have to do it at such the right time. Don't forget if you're not doing it regular the sperm quality may not be as good too.
Still no symptoms my side.

radders I think I will pick up a test tomorrow (an early detection one) and maybe do it Saturday or Sunday if AF hasn't arrived before then. Maybe it's my period about the start and that's why in getting the strong OPKs.

If I still don't have my period next week I'm going to go see the doctor anyway as all these strange symptoms and no AF it doesn't seem right.

Waiting for temps to confirm I ovulated. Had my darkest OPK on CD 16 and have dtd CD 14 to 17. Smep says I should dtd tonight but DH has gone to the pub and I'm shattered. I'm going to bed in a minute.

Good luck getting DH on board physics is he sciency like you, perhaps a bit of education about how conception actually works, I was surprised that an egg only lives up to 24 hours.

Radders I didn't get symptoms until I was 7 or 8 weeks but the main one was tiredness, I'd just come home and collapse on the sofa. Good luck with the digital.

Nimisha - no he is not very science-y... thinks I'm just being a boffin. I think he is surprised I have turned BBT and OPKs into a science project of sorts! He doesn't seem to want to talk about it much. He is quite blokey about some stuff and this seems to be it! I think he just kinda scared (like me!).

jod - maybe it is worth a blood test from docs next week as you are there anyways (obvs if nothing shows before then!).

I did it on AF due date (is that the same thing?)

FMU = First Morning Urine

So I did an OPK when I came in from work and it immediately came up negative but just looked again now and there's a definite faint second line?? The pack didn't come with any proper instructions so I'm not sure whether you're supposed to disregard any results any 10 mins like POAS??

Racja, they look like my tests! I think that there may always be some LH present in the body so a faint line is normal. A positive would be if the second line was as dark as the test line, if not darker! Keep testing my positive came out of the blue the day after a very faint line! I'd assumed there would have been a build up!

CD36 I Did an OPK again this morning and once again it's really strong....I really don't feel I'm about to ovulate though? Opinions....

Wow Jod that is a strong opk! So either ovulation it is (although if u don't feel it is) it can only be a strong BFP! I think u need to try again on a pregnancy test.

Agree with Parney, there might always be a faint line, plus you should discard any result observed after 10 minutes anyway. Keep going, they are so handy to help pinpoint when to DTD! When I get my positive, the line usually appears instantly and will be at least as strong as the control line, but I'm lucky to get a warning as the tests gets progressively more promising looking in the lead up.
Parney I'm CD24 now! Feel the same as you, trying to mentally prepare for AF making an appearance. My cramps usually kick in 24-48 hours before D-Day, so I'll be hyper sensitive over the weekend watching for any little niggle! I know you can get cramps when pg, but I didn't get any with DS, so I'll be disappointed if I start feeling them. Due Tuesday and will test Wednesday if no show... how about you? x
