So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Wow that is strong Jod! When did you last try a hpt?! I think I said before I get positive opks before AF too, although I'm not sure what hormone it's picking up at that point. How confusing for you!! x

That was read straight away and that photo was taken within 5 mins? It has been getting progressively stronger as I have been testing for 6 days? Hubby is off tonight so will DTD this weekend BUT I really don't feel it's ovulation? I won't chance it though.

What is going on??? So yesterday afternoon my boobs were very tingly and I laughed to myself saying oh now I feel like I might ovulate again. Went to the loo.. EWCM again (slight streak of pale pink) and slight ovary ache this time on opposite side than last week. Used opk and was a very strong line again darker than control line!! So last night had to pin him down and this morning.

So the question is.. Did the mid cycle bleed I had right in the midst of my positive ovulation time halt the process and therefore it has tried again?? Or could this be an implantation thing??

Was it definitely AF you had last time footprints?

Hi Tee, I've been cramping since Tuesday AF due tomorrow. Last cycle I had cramps the day before I woke up to AF I'm not reading in to it as I've only had two cycles since pill, so patterns are only emerging now.
I'm reluctant to test after BFN on IC a few days ago. Only have ICs and digi tests at home. I will buy a frer tomorrow if I don't wake up to AF. Big weekend planned,lots of bubbles to be drunk! Haven't been out this month at all so will enjoy it if bfn, really hope I'm not in limbo with no AF though as I'm not sure I could drink if there was still a teeny chance!

Strange footprints! Could be delayed Ov, not unheard of to O twice in a cycle though not very common!

Really jod? My opk never as dark as yours! Good sign for bfp or at very least Ov is imminent!!!

Oh footprints, that certainly does sound like ovulation!! You might end up with twins this month!! I'm not sure if people who polyovulate release 2 eggs at the same time, or if it can happen separately. I would definitely be DTD lots just in case!

Parney I know it's very common for women to get a good run up of cramps before BFP, so it's promising that it's different to last month, although I understand your point about not having had long to notice established patterns.
Got everything crossed for you, hope AF doesn't show overnight and you can get testing on a FRER!!

Yes parney I was convinced AF was coming with the boys. That's one reason why I think I am PG as I have had cramps for weeks!

Ccd3morning ladies. The weirdest thing happened. Had af only one day. Full flow then it stopped. Tbh I don't understand how my crazy body is behaving.

jod that opk has me convinced it's a bfp. One more hpt then bloods when u visit doc incase u don't hve answer by then.

tee it's going to be a long weekend with the temptation of poas. Fx af stays far away. Any exciting symptoms?

This is today's opk! Crazy??!
I don't think my DH can take anymore! I didn't tell him this time. He text me earlier to ask what on earth have I been taking?! Lol

I'm bit worried to what has happened? But can only think my body is trying to ovulate and then not. Oh well.. I guess if this is ovulation then I will be a week late for my AF.

Jod- not sure if the bleed I had midcycle cd16 was AF as was only one day of full bleeding. Too much for spotting. The AF before cd 1 was def AF! Mega cramps, aching boobs etc.. Headache the works. No doubt about that. It's all bizarre. Can only just dtd more this weekend and sit tight. Googled it.. And says if LH surges egg tries to release but can't it will naturally try again a few days after. So it is possible. Just hope I don't bleed again.

So my plan is to only test 2 weeks from tomorrow which will be from this ovulation time.

I fancy a glass of wine already sucha and a big juicy steak with chips! can only admit it to you girls as I'm supposed to b fit and healthy to my clients!

Been trying to not do too much since ttc as I want my body to be not too exhausted.

I'm off shopping....will pick up a test and more OPKs. I have my hopes raised now. I hope it isn't in vain!

CD 24 of 28 I think but not long off the pill so its early days.

Totally sure I am not pregnant this time so back to square one soon! Going to start OPKs next time as I have no idea when I ovulated, could have been CD11 or maybe not until CD17. Think I need a bit more of an idea for my own sanity!

Mimi no, not really celebrating. We're doing some work on our house so DH will be working all weekend whilst I entertain DS. Planning to tell our parents this weekend, so that'll be nice. How are you feeling today?

Welcome January. My cycles seem to have settled at 31 days since coming off the pill, so my OV day was day 17. Are you tracking with an app?

Sorry, someone asked if we just DTD once. We did it more than that over the whole month but only once during my fertile few days. I ovulated the day after we DTD so it must have been then (we DTD 5 days earlier but I was abroad in-between so definitely no action as DH was at home holding the fort). When we conceived DS we DTD every other day during my fertile period but I am pretty convinced which day we hit the jackpot. It was the day before I ovulated.

newhair yes using Ovia but Ive not put much information in it yet, once I start using the OPKs Im sure it will tell me exactly when I will get pregnant

footprints like you said I think my body might have tried a few times to ovulate, it certainly felt like that, I wonder if thats because I was on the pill?

Oh well Ill await my period on Wednesday and then start monitoring like crazy after that. Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.

Rajca the crampons are so funny!!! Exactly what I've been feeling these last few days. I was in agony last night in bed, but seem better today. Seems as though they come in the evening? Unless that's when I wind down and only notice them..
Hi January! I'm on cycle 3 post pill! Maybe we'll have similar experiences, welcome. I find opks incredibly useful for predicting when AF due.
