We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Sorry ni I am here, silently lurking and reading! Missing posting but reaaaally aware of not wanting to be insensitive or get on y'all nerves. I can't settle I to this whole preggers thing yet, I haven't phoned the doctors and I'm still sort of "lalalaaaa-ing" with my fingers in my ears pretending if I don't think about it then I can't be excited/things going wrong won't be frightening.

In other news, I STINK! I am repulsive. Dh got in bed Saturday night, lifted the covers and gagged and whispered tentatively "babe...I think you might have shit yourself...just check" It was not, thank god, an errant poo, just musical smelly toots! But he actually patted my PJ bottoms like you would a baby's nappy to be sure! I am trail blazing like a champ, there's just air constantly escaping from me! And if it's not one end it's coming from the other! I'm a one woman wind bag! Only other thing is I've got oral thrush, which sucks, but is apparently quite common. My entire mouth hurts but the pharmacist couldn't wouldnt give me anything because fucking nothing is licensed for the upduffed, I have to get an appointment with my GP so June then and I'm dribbling like basset hound! I'm so attractive and sexy! 😆

I took epo my last cycle, it did shorten my af by like a day or so I reckon. And I just took one capsule a day till I got the peak/positive opk. Not sure whether it helped either way tbh.

hep I've never once had ewcm since we started ttc. Not a single time. I was beginning to think id imagined having it prior to ttc.

Will stick with the 1000mg EPO and see how this goes. God I feel on such a mission this month already and it's only cd 5

Stark just a note if u have oral thrush u can go to see a dentist. They can issue prescriptions and give advice on management X

Hello all, just been catching up on what's been happening over the last few days and it seems it's been as busy as ever.

More BFPs too, so congrats to lyssie and anyone else I missed.

kat & fishy I'm also on cycle 8. We've been trying since Jan '15, got preggo in July last year but mc at 6+2, and now that's us 8 cycles on and still nothing, so far.

I'm 38 so I'm really starting to feel like we're up against it time wise. Didn't seem so bad when we first started TTC and i was naive enough to think it would happen straight away - thought we'd have our first dc banged out while i was still 37 and would have been on our way to dc2 by now, but have now sadly learned that you really can't schedule this stuff much as i'd love to

We're off for our first appt at the fertility clinic tomorrow so I'm super nervous. We've both tested normal in the first run of sperm & hormone checks (i got 5.5 for my FSH, i'm told that's good) so I'm guessing that tomorrow they'll check my AMH level. Really hoping that it's not going to be bad news

Anyway, i'm currently in ISW ASW (average sex week) since we've decided to take a more chilled approach to it all now. Ovulation due on weds so hoping that the appt tomorrow doesn't dampen our enthusiasm for dtd!

Island it's tough learning about reality isn't it? I remember going shopping shortly after starting ttc and nearly not buying more sanitary products because "I won't be needing those anymore!" - wrong!! I hope your tests go well tomorrow and that you get a nice doctor.

Starky I had a similar-ish thing a few days ago. After my bfn I was pretty sure I had a uti, got pills from the doctor but you can't take them if you're preggers! I was 99% sure I wasn't, but if I was and took them I'd have felt really bad. So I had to wait two days before AF finally showed up.

And to everyone who has BFP's it's nice to still hear from you guys. It's good to know people actually do get pregnant because it was seeming like a myth to me!

Lol starky I love that you have no filter. I'm curious to know if you have a TMI level... I don't know what we'd do without you - and now we have you to pre-warn us of the realities of pregnancy if/when it happens to us!! I certainly don't find it insensitive that you post here, as we've all be here rooting for you the whole time

Quick q, due to travelling home from in laws yesterday, I didn't test yesterday, but have had negative Saturday and today. Is there a chance there was a barrow surge and I was unlucky? I thought surges lasted 2 days?

Lovely to hear from you Stark! Knowing me I will totally be like that.. Freaking out that poppy seed will fall out! How are you keeping busy to keep your mind off the worries?? Re the thrush yeah try live yogurt-they always recommend it for the nether bits so I'm sure it must work and be easier to throw some in the mouth. Hope it helps. (ps they do say that symptoms and side effects are a sign of lots of pg hormones so a strong pregnancy!)

Ps...I think EPO did increase CM....but I still didn't see ecwm! But hey if it didn't stop Stark getting upduffed...!!

Had a high reading on the clear blue opk yesterday and today. Dtd yesterday. Feeling a bit meh about it this month.

Full on SP mode now. . . . Loose bowels today and feeling very doom and gloom usual signs of imminent AF for me :(

kwick we'll be seeing what they recommend on treatments. We're still hopeful that having already conceived once (albeit ending in mc) that we'll be able to manage it again naturally but we figure we should get the tests done to (hopefully) rule out any problems and to also hear what our options are if the nature needs a bit of help to get me to the upduffed stage. We've heard that the waiting list for IVF is about a year anyway, so don't think anything would happen quickly. Thanks also for reminding me that my advancing years aren't beyond hope! You're an inspiration with all your positivity, i still chant your mantra to myself too lol

Hello ☔️☔️☔️ It's chucking it down here. Ugh. So... I got a bfn yesterday which was probably too early anyway. Today, I have a weird stitch type feeling in my left side, deep in me where I would imagine the left ovary/tube/part of my uterus is. It's not painful as such, but it's there all the time. I'm wondering if it's a cyst? I've not felt anything like it before. Feels like I just ran up 10 flights of stairs (which would never actually happen, I'd be long dead at 5!) or pulled a deep little string of muscle. My boobs are ramping up and are sore mostly on the outside. I really want this month to be it! But I'm bracing myself for af in 4 or 5 days. 😖😜
