Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Hello fishy and cthulhoo - you've missed a shedload of grads mostly! There are still some of us here plugging away and symptom spotting like mofos though :)

Welcome theorchard the bus ticket is when your next AF is due - which I think is 5 May going your stats?

Cthulhoo · 12/04/2016 14:15

Yay for our grads! Good to know that the thread still has some of its magic. ;)

How are we all?

Morning all - Jem well done for taking over the helm! I am now in the May Bus - 7th apparently - since AF arrived with a bang at the weekend (not literally obviously) Congrats flash very exciting!! wishing you a happy and healthy 33 weeks ahead!

celizabe · 12/04/2016 14:49

Welcome orchard

Wow jem, thanks, that's just made my tww seem really short ... front of the bus for me!! Hmm eek!

Feefeefs · 12/04/2016 14:59

I'm paying for a private one flash I haven't had any bleeding or anything just want to see the heartbeat. Maybe with some spotting they might give you an early NHS one to set your mind at ease, it's worth asking. My private one is £37 in Scotland.

Jamjar12 · 12/04/2016 15:28

I paid for a private one because everyone on here keeps banging on about them Wink Mine was £60 and I had to convince DH it would be worth it. I haven't had any cramps or bleeding and I'm not a risk factor for things so the NHS would never have done it. It's just very difficult when you find out before 4 weeks and then have to wait until 12 weeks!

I've just been to an early pregnancy group session our midwives insist on and no one else has had an early scan. I think it's just for us loonies on here but both DH and I are 100% glad we had it. Worth every penny. Plus we are telling my parents tonight with the scan photo rather than just giving them our word!

mayago · 12/04/2016 16:29

Wow, a lot has happened here in a week! Congratulations on all the BFPs, ladies! That is a fantastic scan, jamjar

I've stumbled into Cycle 4, as AF decided to visit a few days early, literally as I was boarding a plane. Not cool, Flo, not cool.

Had a positive on an OPK this morning/last night, aaand am now on a work trip until Thursday, with OH hours awayAngry. Maybe May will be our month? Testing on or before the 25th with fingers crossed!

Theorchard · 12/04/2016 17:18

Thank you for the welcomes Smile And explaining the buses! I also make it 5th May jem
Waves to Hep, Celiza and everyone else.
Congrats to all bfps, very encouraging! Smile
I am finding myself wishing time away to my fertile window, and then it will be the tww. I need to relax and I have barely even begun! Grin

Mooseville · 12/04/2016 17:52

maya I'm with you. Purposely haven't brought any OPK's with me but I'm away on a work trip and Ovia is killing me telling me I'm at level 10 fertility and DP is bloody 200 miles away with his swimmers!!! Aaaargh!
It's enough to drive you crazy! This is cycle 3 and I don't think we've ever had a successful fertile week of DTD yet! Who knew it was so hard to time when to shag and get you both to agree to doing it! Ha ha

Welcome orchard

jam enjoy telling your parents... You'll have to let us know how it goes!

SuchaJem · 12/04/2016 18:13

Hello skip sorry about AF, I'm glad she didn't arrive with a bang though :) I've put you down for the 7th. May is filling up! celi you'll have to keep them all in order up at the front

Hi mayago that is poor form from AF indeed. I'm cruising along in cycle 4 too

moose that is so frustrating. Does next month look better timing wise?

Hey y'all, I'm keen to join too. Feeling weirdly nervous about the transition from lurker to participant - like it might carry 10 years bad luck/ turn my face turquoise/confirm that I am not In fact relaxed at all but here I am. You seem like a lovely bunch of women folk.

Hello Hank welcome on board Smile

I'm 32 and ttc 1 too. Exciting times! I hope this thread only brings you good fortune and a place to air the crazy

Kwick709 · 12/04/2016 19:45

Welcome back kat we missed you!!!!

Flash as I had IVF it is usual to have an early scan - there is a higher risk of ectopic pregnancy so they are checking for that. My clinic does 2 early scans... not sure if the one I am having next week is in addition to that.

island Greece sounds great! I am going to Lisbon & Porto with my mum for a long weekend in May... and then I think that is it - best to accumulate my holiday I think!!! especially since I found out today the policy at work has changed and is much less generous that what I thought Envy

okay - I am still catching up - on to page 31

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/04/2016 19:59

I think I'm in the minority of ladies who haven't had an early scan. We thought about it but I think my anxiety would have suffered and I'm doing better waiting. Taking my Starky Star award to the next level of self induced --forced- patience!

Welcome hank Grin

cthulhoo I was wondering what had happened to you!!! Welcome back my lovely!!!

A very warm welcome to newbies TheOrchard and HankPeach

starky I have been having weird dreams too...I also have a cough that affects me most at night... I am wondering if I have an allergy to something in my room... I may freeze my pillow again.

Kwick709 · 12/04/2016 20:01

you are amazeballs starky!!!! Star Star Star Star Star

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/04/2016 20:34

You're amazeballs kwick you've been through so much and you're so positive and cheerful, you're such an inspiration! Oh the dreams! I wonder if it's hormonal, I was getting weird ones before but now they seem to be affecting me actual sleep so I'm waking up exhausted!

We've been airing our house quite a lot, I noticed I was struggling with clearing my throat/tickly cough too.

Kwick709 · 12/04/2016 21:04

You made me cry starky (in a nice way) :)

Will try airing out flat..it has been so cold I have not wanted to let artic inside (ooh just had vision of yummy artic roll... Is that still sold anywhere????).

Not looking forward to Thursday - day trip to Toulouse - but could only get flights from Gatwick - which is at least 1.5 hours away from my part of London.... It is going to be a long day. I have taken executive decision to not work whilst in transit but try and get shut eye or catch up on Eastenders (I am weeks behind).

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/04/2016 21:13

Arctic roll, Tesco, it's about a pound. And Iceland! I've been on Daim ice cream, it is beyond amaaaaaaazing! Would recommend it all round!

You are though kwick Grin
