I went out and bought a present for the new baby. Trying to be really positive. The ils are on their way for dinner so I know mil is going to insist on talking about both of the new babies. I'm going to aim to be stronger today and just say that I can't talk about it.

Sorry Amy, what brand did you get the fake from? I had mine on Lloyds. It's so frustrating. Next time until st least 10DPO and use Frer.

Every other day in an established relationship is a big ask. That's why I preferred OPK.

I don't know if EPU work the weekend. I might have to wait until Monday. No I have no cramps at all. No I was only sick day before yesterday and yesterday morning. Never got sick in previous pregnancies. Just that slightly dizzy pregnant feeling which I still have.

Flourishing I was 14dpo when I got the fake and came on today. It was an asda own brand hpt. I've bought some frers as was planning to test Sunday if af hadn't arrived today. Have them ready for if I need them at some other time.

I saved someone's life today at work. Had to give cpr to an 88 year old gentleman who was having a silent heart attack. Luckily I went to his room when I did else he would have aspirated on his own vomit. Not sure if he'll pull through but he was talking to me when he came round and knew who I was but God was it scary! After he was blue lighted to hospital the shock kicked in and I couldn't stop shaking. Can't stop thinking about him I really hope he's going to make it. He was only with us temporarily until his wife comes out of hospital

I'm so sorry, Amy - you are really in the eye of the storm atm. Well done on saving a life - I am in awe. It must have been so scary, I really do not know how you keep your composure in situations like that. I hope the gentleman recovers well.

It was really scary, I wanted to cry so many times after he had gone took myself outside for 5 mins with a sugary drink to cool off. Had to force feed him aspirin and get a line into his vein for fluids and iv drugs in 8 mins before the paramedics arrived. Took me 2 rounds of chest compressions to get him back with us. My arms have been like jelly since. I've only ever been in that situation once before while working at this nursing home, most of our patients have dnar's in place because they come to us for end of life care normally but since there is such a lack of care support for the elderly we always keep one rehab room free for patients who need to mobilise before they go home and we were just getting him walking with our physio, he was doing brilliantly walking with staff support and his walking frame. His wife was coming for rehab next week too but that probably won't happen now.
Af is the least of my worries now, I want to ring glenfield cardiac unit now to find out how he is but I can't!

Gosh Amy that sounds terrifying. Thankgod you were there to help him. Amazingly well done for keeping your calm and saving his life. Gosh, hope he recovers.

Paco! Did you manage to stay up for 10 minutes?! Well done. It is the most ungracious unsexiest position to get into after DTD but it has got us pregnant three times so I think it works..

I am in my fertile window and we've DTD three times and that will be the last of it I think for this window cos my boyfriend stayed up until 3am and is so wiped out now... but hopefully that will be enough. Promising myself not to go crazy with symptom spotting and stop sticking fingers inside myself (sorry TMI) to check for bloody cervical mucus. It is thick and creamy at the moment so I think that means I have ovulated and now it is time to concentrate on work, our extension, the spring, romance.... I am going to find it VERY hard!

I have no Idea what is going on with these opk things positive yesterday but a more faded line today. Not sure if that means we have missed the fertile window. Just going to put it out my mind, relax and enjoy myself. We have a lot of good things planned this month so going to focus my energy on that.

OPK I think are absolutely ridiculous. They are so confusing. This month it was peak for 48 hours and then when I re-tested it was low fertility for about a day and a half, and then I got another Peak. They are v confusing - and my consultant said they aren't that accurate and to just have DTD every other day and hope for the best.

Af is mega heavy today, my mooncup has already overflowed twice so I've just got a pad on which I've had to change twice already as well. Hoping this will be the heaviest day.

Kate & paco my opk's were really confusing last month, I had 4 days of peak on my clear blues and 4 days positive on ic opk with the last day being the strongest but my temps said I already ovulated with the first positive opk which would work out right with my af starting! Don't know whether to chuck them this month and go by my cm, if it is anything like last month I'll know when I'm oving just by that.

Had another pregnancy announcement yesterday from my dh cousins wife due on my twins bday so will be a happy and sad day all at the same time

Ha ha. Yes, it was recommended to us by a friend. You basically do a shoulder stand to make sure the sperm is on a right angle. You'd think after months of doing it id have a yogi toned body by now but no...

Using my hands under my hips to push me up. We also stuff cushions under my lower back to keep me up there. It's a very attractive position!!

CB digital from Thursday to saturday. Dtd Friday,

Then af seems to have arrived Sunday.

Stupid body, anyone had this? How can I get af immediately after ov? It's ( tmi) very heavy and big clots, same as mc but not as painful.

Big fat buggery bollocks to it.

In my experience mc messes everything up. With each af that I've had since, things stabilise. Good luck to you

Welcome hearties I'm so sorry for your loss. Do you think the Opk could have been picking up leftover hormones from your MC? It happened to me after mine xx
