6DPO and going crazy in the TWW... Anyone else ;)

Gosh I am going slightly nuts!!

This is my third month TTC after a miscarriage in November, OPK confirmed peak for two days last week and I swear I've been having symptoms yesterday/today - I had symptoms around this time when I was pregnant so am really hoping it's not in my head! And definitely feels different from other months when I've ovulated and AF has come along...

So as I'm sitting here eating my second day's worth of pineapple... Figured it can't harm - I heard chopping it up into five and eating it for five days can help implantation, I started wondering how other ladies are getting on :)

I am also hoping for someone to stop me going crazy! I had a strong word with myself this morning about POAS as other months I've tested randomly only to be disappointed (had a horrible situation last month with a false positive, double checked with two other tests that were BFN) so I guess I'm also a little nervous so will be doing two at the same time (if I last) to 12dpo (who am I kidding I will so be POAS on Friday!)

Morning! Tess that sounds old you have got lots of symptoms! I had masses of cramping and bloating last week, they eased off for a few days then this week I haven't had cramping but very bloated, sore boobs (also very swollen!) and a bad tummy. Today I am 11dpo - another ic test and I am either seeing things (after squinting for long enough) or it is a v v faint line!!?

Tess that sounds quite promising! I had vivid dreams, cramping and acid reflux too before BFP. Only a few days and you should be able to test - fx for you!

Devgal I can see a very faint line. I was getting clear BFNs on ICs before my BFP on a first response so I'd recommend trying one of those! Eeek hope it's good news for you!!

Thanks Scottish. Yes I have a FR to do tomorrow, then if that is BFN I will just wait it out for AF. I'm trying so hard to not get too excited!! Will keep you posted tomorrow.

Mimi hopefully you're just imagining AF signs. I think I've said earlier on this stage that I was so sure AF was turning up I cried in the bathroom at work!

Mimilicious, often AF & peg symtoms are confused as they are so similar? What are you experiencing?
Re-pasting the symtoms I've had so far here:
3DPO onwards - vivid dreams
5DPO onwards - falling asleep in front of telly at night (unusual for me)
7DPO - temp drop and light cramping
8DPO - temp back up, cramping subsides. Boobs start to feel heavy and tender
9DPO - random nose bleed and beginnings of acid reflux
10DPO - sore throat and generally feeling unwell

This morning I was gagging preparing my sons banana (I've always hated the strings!) but it's unusual for it to turn my stomach that much!!
It's going to be a long Easter weekend! xx

Thanks!! I can't quite believe it really! I literally can't wipe the smile off my face! Think I will wait until Tuesday the do a digi (will obviously do others before then because I am a POAS addict!) as DH will be back from a weekend away then. Think I'll make a dr appointment as soon as because I'm taking Metformin for PCOS so don't know if I should stop or not.
mimi I was sure earlier this week AF was going to show any second! So fx she doesn't show. When are you planning to test?

Mimi, I'm feeling strong I think all the positive signs are keeping me going, I only have 1 IC and 1 clear blue in... I really do hate seeing those BFNs, but I totally get the temptation! What tests have you got in? Do you think you'll try early?!

Mimi I'm having a rethink! Maybe testing Monday would be good (hubby off from work, whereas I'd be celebrating/commiserating alone Wednesday). We'll be CD27 (think you were same CDs as me?!) so the result should be really close to accurate by then. What do you think?! xxx

My positive thinking is slowly turning to negative 😞 Feeling AF type tummy cramps this afternoon. Definitely didn't have tummy pains before BFP with DS. Hope they fade off soon!

So sorry Mimilicious 😞 How long have you been TTC? I'm feeling down in the dumps too, typical AF cramps since last night and also a slight temp drop this morning. Felt so sure I had good signs, including a nose bleed in the middle of the night which has only happened to me once before when I was pregnant with DS! Not out til AF is here, but not looking good. I may test tonight if cramps dull off today, I'll see how I feel, could be a waste of a test if I'm feeling very AF-y!! xxx

I'm onto cycle 10.it really is heartbreaking. Some times I feel like just giving up. Drowned my sorrows in booze yesterday.

Ah I definitely feel your frustration. Really want this to happen now for so many reasons, it feels so rubbish when you get pushed back another month after spending so long thinking about what it would be like to have a December baby, telling work colleagues in May that you've got your 12 week scan... Am I the only one who's imagination runs away with them?? Must just learn to enjoy and embrace my life as it is now, and stop thinking that things will only be complete once the BFP is in.
I caved earlier than expected and tried my IC test. Not even a sniff of a line. I'm 13 or 14dpo, so I'm going to take that as me out and move on with focusing on next month. xx
