6DPO and going crazy in the TWW... Anyone else ;)

Gosh I am going slightly nuts!!

This is my third month TTC after a miscarriage in November, OPK confirmed peak for two days last week and I swear I've been having symptoms yesterday/today - I had symptoms around this time when I was pregnant so am really hoping it's not in my head! And definitely feels different from other months when I've ovulated and AF has come along...

So as I'm sitting here eating my second day's worth of pineapple... Figured it can't harm - I heard chopping it up into five and eating it for five days can help implantation, I started wondering how other ladies are getting on :)

I am also hoping for someone to stop me going crazy! I had a strong word with myself this morning about POAS as other months I've tested randomly only to be disappointed (had a horrible situation last month with a false positive, double checked with two other tests that were BFN) so I guess I'm also a little nervous so will be doing two at the same time (if I last) to 12dpo (who am I kidding I will so be POAS on Friday!)

Hi all :) my little boy had good night and we can go home with meds !! Thank goodness, thanks for your messages x going home to bed sooo tired :( it's his third birthday on Saturday so we can still do him a little tea party, we are now getting him a doctors set as has been playing with one in hospital :)

Scottish 6weeks already, time flies hey. Glad u still feeling fine and hope the sickness stays away. I love the sleeping easy bit. Totally miss that.

I read your message first thing this morning and have thought of you a lot today.. I'm so sorry to hear about your little boy. What a horrible time you've all had! So glad to hear the antibiotics are helping and he's a bit better tonight.

Fingers crossed that amongst all of this stress and worry you'll get a BFP to cheer you up

I'm 6w 2days now and feeling mostly fine... Just very tired come evening and my boobs hurt! Just fell asleep on the sofa for 45 mins and have dragged myself up to bed.

Thanks girls , thankfully little one does seem to be responding to medication a little. Fx it stays that way they are going to remove his tonsils when infection shifts still on iv meds x yes would be nice to get bfp after this , don't think il be symptom watching as much which might be a good thing ! We will c , pink away also a pain ! Fx for some BFPs this month , talk again soon , little one Just slept all afternoon now wide awake for night shift ha .gonna be a long one ! ;)

Sorry to hear you've had a rough ride with poor little man!! I hope he gets better very soon.
I was also trying a very gentle pink sway. So many conflicting theories out there timing wise tho, think the harsh cut off makes TTC more difficult. Planning to just DTD as much as poss before od (give the day itself a miss) and then perhaps again 1dpo. I may start a seperate thread on that.
Really hope you get your BFP this month xx

Hi ladies I just though I'd ad with my last two BFPs we did smep and concieved first time, dtd before duting and after od , results ..one angel baby at 8 weeks then this little bundle of joy I'm sat next to who will be 3 soon ! :) also in all my pregnancies all symptoms were totally different so try and not get disheartened if u don't feel the same as before in tww it doesn't mean u r out ️xx

Hi ladies , thought id just pop on ive been away this week on hols so thought id catch up and see how people are getting on, this has been lucky thread for many but also some hopeful for April. After af got me last month it just turned out that we needed to dtd whilst we were away for this cycle .. Think did as much as we could , got a flashing then solid smiley on cb and stopped as we r trying to sway pink, I have 3 boys. 2 older and a 2 ur old. Obviously would live a boy just as much they are fab 😄This time we r trying for a little sibling for youngest really but def our last lol.. Others 2 older are teenagers and love their little brother to bits but do there own thing now;) unfortunately my little one got very poorly last two days whilst we were away and developed breathing problems. We flew back on Sunday straight to a and e from plane . He was admitted straight away to children's ward and has been there ever since. They were trying to get him to intensive care Sunday night.. What a nightmare , I didn't sleep at all for 3 nights just Odd minute. His oxygen levels were and still are dropping to 60, s and need to be late 90,s. Turns out he has developed severe sleep apnea as a result of extra large infected tonsils :( he is on iv drip and wires everywhere, can't breath with out the oxygen alone but rips his mask off so I'm sat here holding it in front of his face. He is ok breathing when awake just can't at all when asleep. So im sat here totally focussing on my precious boy then it just came to my mind that I'm also 4 days into tww! Can u imagine if I did get Bfp after all this ! We would be delighted Of course but what a roller coaster , they have said that once infection clears up they will see if he can manage without oxygen but based on last night I just can't see anything happening soon ! His oxygen just keeps dripping ;( ️xx
Anyway sorry for rant.. Wishing all u ladies happy nine months who got BFPs and good luck to all us ladies that are hoping april is our month. I will check in on here when I can but obviously gonna have a busy couple of weeks. I'll be testing 17th. Sad thing is its my lo birthday at weekend and he is prob going to Benin hospital ! X never mind lots of mummy cuddles x

Defo hope for you! For the record I also had a BA 6 years ago, so I know exactly what you mean about the loss of sensitivity, think that's why it was so noticeable when they were hot... Baby dust to you!!

Funnily enough I was planning on daily BDing this month, as I had been trying every other day previously. Having said that, there is a theory that daily ends up reducing DHs sperm count because of the frequent release, so I'd heard that every 2-3 days gives the little swimmers time to 'refresh'. So much conflicting advice. I just wanted to try something new this time! xx

Royal jelly tablets are meant to boost fertility. Have a friend who took them and got preg after just 2mnths when she had been ttc over a year. So am hoping to be lucky too 😂

The smep is the sperm meet egg plan where u dtd lots to make sure there is always sperm waiting for fertilization. It's a lot of work though. After ttc 9mnths dtd has become more of a chore but I want to try and give it another go.

MummyBex the most noticeable sign I had with my DS in 2ww was being hot to the touch. I didn't feel hot in myself, but my skin was red hot. DH agreed. I have been desperately waiting to feel this again every month, but no joy. Good luck, I hope it's a positive sign for you too! xx

Just read this whole thread through - blimey, I'm only posting because I'm hoping some of the luck will rub off on me lol!!

I'm currently on CD 25 of 28 (although it has varied lately up to 30 days) and I swear I've spent the whole of the last two days looking up every symptom possible! We have been TTC 10 months so I've been getting a bit disheartened lately.

I have back pain, cramping in my stomach (both AF type symptoms unfortunately) and very sore boobs (again usual post OV and pre AF). The only new development is hot boobs! Very odd! I had a BA 10 years ago and lost a lot of sensitivity so they're always icy cold, but they've been burning up the last few days (I'm 9DPO).

Please throw some of your good luck at me! The wait is agonising, I can't bring myself to POAS as I'm sick of seeing the blank whiteness

I'm really sure I'm out with these cramps, but AF still not here yet. I was convinced it would turn up early morning, these cramps have been going since Sunday afternoon. Plus the one step test I did was was proper negative, I mean as white as white. Also, my temp dropped even further this morning, right down to pre-ov range, so I think that's pretty conclusive. If no AF by tomorrow morning I'll try my Clear Blue, but not getting my hopes up at all, can't imagine 1 test, 2 temp drops, and a whole loada AF cramps being wrong?!

My DS turns 4 in September and I'm now a bit gutted about how big the age gap is growing (took about a year to convince DH to have another - so I won't take the blame for that one!!) xx
