I thought I may as well start up the April bus since af rudely kicked me off the February bus, and my dh isn't here for March!

Been ttc #4 since September last year. Tricky as dh works abroad so much! I think I'm due to ov on the 3rd of April and dh is home on the 1st, so fx we catch it! I'll be testing round about 17th April.

Anyone else ready to hop on board to keep me company? I have a large bag of mini eggs to share Grin

Hi Natalie - as underrug said, if you've got EWCM get DTD! I didn't get any this month, and I normally do. I was practically swimming in evening primrose oil too Angry

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 31/03/2016 12:38

Tabitha sensible advice from nottalotta. I, however, will POAS from 9dpo like a crazy woman. Can't help it...

Yay you made it look prettier giraffes 👍🏻😄

I started using my clear blue opk yesterday, and two days in a row I've got the error message and it hasn't worked. Typical!! At least I have 50 cheapy opks 😂

Omg I have a couple of days away and baby gets preggers! Massive congrats to you baby really chuffed.

AFM i haven't ovulated yet and am at cd 22 so not feeling hopeful I even am going to ovulate this month. On the plus side it's my bosses leaving drinks thing this evening so can drown my sorrows there and stroll home tipsy and pounce poor dp lol.

Also as my boss is leaving I got offered a promotion (not as boss!) the good thing would be no more working nights which would be dreamy the bad thing is starting work at 7:30 and finishing at 8:30 at night, but only for 2/3 days a week sooo... But I would be more in charge so more stress but then more money. Decisions decisions. Was really flattered though that the lady who is going to be new boss was asked who would be the best suited for her job she apparently said 'the only person I would trust to be capable is trying (well she didn't call me trying but you know lol)

ZoeNotAMumYet · 31/03/2016 14:47

Oooh congrats baby!!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 31/03/2016 15:41

Thanks weechops Smile Is your DH home in time then???

babyinthacorner · 31/03/2016 15:41

Great news Trying! What a boost for you!

Tabitha78 · 31/03/2016 16:01

Haha well I just bought the Superdrug tests ready, so will see whether I hold out or not!!

Tabitha78 · 31/03/2016 16:04

Trying that's fantastic news. I'm sure you'd adapt to the responsibility and surely worth it to be working days? Can you get some downtime to recover from the long hours on your non-working days?

Tryingtowait · 31/03/2016 16:28

Haha I have a 3yo ds tabitha so never really get downtime but will be worth it to spend more time with him not so exhausted recovering from nights all the time. It's just not natural working nights and I initially did it so he wouldn't notice I was gone but I'm no good to him after the night when I'm knackered. Plus he loves nursery now so extending his hours a bit will prepare him for school. He's so grown up, he'll be moving out in a minute lol.

Mimilicious013 · 31/03/2016 17:03

Wow exciting news there trying congrats hun.

Good luck on holding out tabithaGrin

kellz when are u poas fx

weechops · 31/03/2016 19:52

trying that's brilliant!!

giraffes he'll be home Sunday afternoon, cd15 for me. Usually get a +opk on cd14 so hoping we have a good chance!

Help! Can't work out my dates! My last period was Sunday 6th March and I've just come on again...that means once I'm done we start trying properly!!!
Can anyone tell me when I'd be OV so I know when I need to jump the hubby several times?? BlushBlushConfusedGrin

Thankyou ladies!!

Dutchy88 · 31/03/2016 21:48

Congrats baby and thanks weechops!

Still dtd everyday. Ovia says 8 days until next cycle which is odd as this is day 28 and previous cycles (since they started back up after ds only a couple of months ago) have been super short. Must resist the urge to test for a few more days but it's so hard 😀

Sparrowlegs248 · 31/03/2016 22:01

So......if (big if....) my cycles are the same as they were pre baby, af should arrive tomorrow. We really didn't dtd at the right times so unlikely to be preggers....... I think I will wait til Monday.

Sparrowlegs248 · 31/03/2016 22:03

Happy as an average, people with a 28 day cycle will ovulate around day 14 I think. My cycles were 24 days and I ovulate day 10/11. Not sure if that helps!

GinandJazzHands · 31/03/2016 22:14

baby I knew it!! Congrats my lovely!! Tell me you had a Bridget Jones in the pharmacy moment! Also great news on the job trying well done! Shit news is the witch has just got me - was CD56 here so really frustrated I only seem to be getting half the chances: I'll be lucky to make it onto the end of the May bus if my cycles keep going this way. On the plus side I'm on holiday in Italy with loads of wine and pasta, and my DH is wonderful. Good luck ladies, will drop in occasionally to see the BFPs and in the nicest possible way I hope I don't see any of you on the May bus!!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 31/03/2016 22:31

happy most people ovulate 14 days before their period. HTH

happysunshineandrainbows · 31/03/2016 22:48

Thankyou

To be on the safe side I will tell hubby we need to DTD every day or so Wink

BoBo90 · 31/03/2016 22:50

Gin have you tried Agnus castus? It really helped me shorten my cycles! First cycle was 76 days and then second cycle I started taking AC and it went down the 35 days! Might be worth a try xx

samk15 · 31/03/2016 22:50

Is it me or am I the oldest lady on this bus???!!! I'm gonna need a special seat by the front so that I can get off easily Grin

everdene · 31/03/2016 23:19

I've been researching the ways to help this along - anyone tried cough medicine to make mucus more fluid? Going to get some preseed lube and baby aspirin... Anything I'm missing?

(Also what does etd stand for?)

Congratulations Baby!

babyinthacorner · 01/04/2016 05:54

Haha Gin thank you! Unfortunately I didn't have a Bridget Jones moment in the pharmacy, although I was thinking of you the whole time! The pg tests were in front of the counter so I just had to do my best French reading. If I'd had to ask I'd have been in danger of speaking German - it comes much more easily to me than French!

Everdene ETD means estimated test date Smile

babyinthacorner · 01/04/2016 05:55

God, sorry meant to give you these Gin Thanks** so sorry AF got you. Enjoy the rest of your holiday love X
