No April Fools, just bfp's please! April BFP bus!!

I thought I may as well start up the April bus since af rudely kicked me off the February bus, and my dh isn't here for March!

Been ttc #4 since September last year. Tricky as dh works abroad so much! I think I'm due to ov on the 3rd of April and dh is home on the 1st, so fx we catch it! I'll be testing round about 17th April.

Anyone else ready to hop on board to keep me company? I have a large bag of mini eggs to share Grin

ooo, mini eggs! I'll hop on Smile. I'll bring the creme eggs - got to have both!

We were planning ttc #1 in March but have delayed by a month. I've learned so much already from following the March bus so will hang out here until I finally get my coil out towards the end of the month!

Can I join? I'm hoping to get a BFP this month but it's not looking too likely so I figured I'd join the April bus! also the march bus is already pretty full and I'm slightly too scared to join in

Tabitha how old are you, if you don't mind sharing?

My stats are :
weechops
age : 36
ttc #4 (dd is 9, ds1 is 5, ds 2 is 2)
cycle : 5, but dh works abroad 3 months at a time, so missed a few!!
etd : 17th April

Hoping this is the lucky bus. When we were ttc ds2 I got my bfp on April Fools Day!

I will join if that's ok - we decided to TTC dc2 a few weeks ago but april is the first month I'll be properly trying. I'd also ideally like a 2017 baby (for various boring and practical issues mostly related to work) so I'm not too sad to have entirely missed the Feb window, and I think a march BFP would still give me a 2016 baby so will be having lots of headaches next month Blush

cycle - will be cycle 3 off the pill but cycle 1 of really trying
etd - mid april sometime, still not sure exactly how long my cycles are

exciting stuff!

So I've been struggling pinning down my fertile window. I got a positive (or at least it looked positive to me) opk on cd10 and then it went to nothing. Ovia reckoned my fertile window was the following week but today, cd 19, I had a fairly strong test line on my opk so I assume I'll ovulate either tomorrow or Sunday which is cd 20/21. Definitely thinking I'll be looking for my BFP in April rather than March!

cakes what opks do you use? I use the cheapy OneStep ones 😳 And they've always been pretty good. I 'treated myself' to the clear blue dual hormone one last month. Cd11 today and got a flashing smiley. Hoping I don't ov til at least cd15 so that next cycle is on track for dh coming home!

PCOS so although much better, cycles are still irregular so not 100& what my ov window is. To give AF a chance to be late though, I will test 9th April.

weechops I use the cheapy Amazon ones. I also use them 3 times a day if I'm not working Blush otherwise usually twice. I wish I could get the digital ones but until I know when I ovulate roughly, I think I'll stick to the cheap ones! I have a digital hpt squirrelled away to use when I'm certain I'm pregnant!

Despite me throwing away the last lot of OPK sticks I had in a rage when I found out they are pretty much useless with PCOS, since my cycles have regulated much more I have cracked and bought some more. Mostly due to 2 different apps giving me different ov windows (almost a week apart and quite crucial this week due to DH being away!!) I am on CD 12 today and did a test with a very faint line. I will just keep going and see it I get a positive, but in anyone else's experience, does the line gradually get darker until a positive or it that just my wishful thinking?!

I hope I can save a seat on this bus if that's ok? Although not totally off the March bus I started having mid-cycle bleeding today Sad (not implantation & not ovulation as on CD15 out of 30 & no positive OPK yet)

So yep, pretty sure that's me out! Sad

Evening all.

Devgal if you keep testing you should see the line get darker. If it's a positive opk, the line has to be as dark as (or darker than) the control line. I test around 11am, 2pm, 6pm usually.

Cd14 today and tested with the clear blue digital- got another Flashing smiley first thing this morning, tested again with an ic this afternoon and its positive, so the surge really does happen that quickly.

I gave in to sugar cravings after dinner, and cracked open one of the Easter eggs I'd put away 🙈 Malteser shard anyone? 😂

I'm struggling to get anywhere with my OPKs. They were super dark after my AF last time but then faded and have been up and down since then. I'm trying to temp and use cervical fluid as a gauge instead

No, I never seem to have any luck with them either cakesandphotos, so after these few run out that'll be it for me. Too much stress!!

I'd like too stay positive Underrugs but it's hard work lol.

weechops thanks, I did another today and it is ever so slightly darker, so will keep going. This is my first cycle TTC so I just wanted to see what it was all looking like then ease off the OPK and any other form of crazy I might have taken on!
