No April Fools, just bfp's please! April BFP bus!!

I thought I may as well start up the April bus since af rudely kicked me off the February bus, and my dh isn't here for March!

Been ttc #4 since September last year. Tricky as dh works abroad so much! I think I'm due to ov on the 3rd of April and dh is home on the 1st, so fx we catch it! I'll be testing round about 17th April.

Anyone else ready to hop on board to keep me company? I have a large bag of mini eggs to share

The symptom spotting never gets better dev it only gets worse!! Hope the pcos won't be a problem.lots ladies get their bfps so fx.

I'm hoping to wait until April fools day to poas. Hope some good luck is driving this 🚌 bus

Serious temping, OPKing ladies... Do you temp all month, or give yourself a break during AF? I haven't bothered during this AF and I was wondering when to start up again. I normally ov around cd17, so would cd10 onwards give a good enough pattern?

giraffe I gave myself a break during AF then started again when she pissed off. I'm struggling to see a pattern in my temps if I'm honest

Hi BoBo I'll keep you company til ov, I'm due to ov in about 20 days.

So I've discovered I actually symptom spot in the 2ww even though we haven't dtd since February as dh is still abroad 😂 At least I know sore boobs after ov is not a pregnancy symptom now, as I seem to have them constantly!
Af due on Monday then I can temp and opk and plan like a mad thing! Dh isn't going to know what's hit him when walks through that door!

Giraffes I'd probably want to temp for about 10 days before ov so maybe start on cd7?

I'll temp from tomorrow morning then. Weird today - still light period, but also EWCM! tmi sorry!

Not temping at the moment. Trying not to get too carried away too soon incase we are in it for the long haul. We shall see how long I keep so relaxed.

hi ladies. CD10 for me so just started the fertile window. me & dp are on holiday until after easter so plenty of time to dtd! just hoping that last month's chemical hasn't messed with my cycle.

My boys got tonsilitus and been poorly since Saturday now I'm all achey shivery cough and cold. So not sure how accurate my temps are and also really not feeling romantic so not feeling optimistic ATM but only cd 9 so still got time

DH and I have decided to take the plunge this month!

I don't know what your stats are all about but I'm 27, I have a DS aged 7. He has baby fever as well. We have apparently been hinting a little too heavily Feels like 100 years ago that I was pregnant with him. I can't remember anything. But I also feel like I'm going a little bit crazy myself now. When I got pregnant with DS it was just a thing that happened and I rolled with it. Now we are making a decision and it's scary! But also so exciting that I keep missing sleep and randomly losing focus in the middle of the day. And then today suddenly impatience has appeared in the mix too.

Basically it's like a big smoothie of emotions I'm exhausted! Does everyone get this when you decide to TTC as a grown up? How do you COPE?? Does it go away or get less intense at all?

I am also trying OPKs this time around for the first time - for a bit of reassurance, really. Not temping - yet - but like Dutchy - we'll see how long I hold out.

Bertie The first cycle that DH and I started trying was very much a storm of emotion but after that, it quickly became the new normal for us. Your mileage may vary!

FINALLY OV'd at CD44 Whoop!! So ETD should be on 1 April (but will likely crack and POAS before then). I'm 33 and on cycle 3. Settling in at the back of the bus for the 2ww.

Also meant to say I'm TTC #1. Doh! So who's first to POAS?

Hey giraffes I temp every day but agree post-AF will give you enough lead in time. This is only my 2nd full cycle of temping - I have found mine to be all over the shop pre OV, but last month were noticeably higher post-OV, so hoping this cycle will be the same. I get a few 'false' LH surges before finally shaking an egg free so the temp shift is useful to know when we can def ease off DTD. Three straight weeks of DTD like mad waiting for the egg is knackering!

I've had a couple of OPKS with lines today. Not a full positive yet but the second one was definitely darker. I'm surprised because some months I'm awash with EGCM and so far I've had barely any, just a little a couple of days ago. Can't really be bothered to BD but will take one for the team!

They used to be 30 days but apparently Mother Nature likes to have a laugh with me and they're now 27 days! I've been ov'ing on cd14 the last few cycles, so hoping that it holds on one more day so we can get a really good shot this month! Otherwise I don't think I'm seeing dh again til September eek!!

Hi can I join you all? Busy bus already!
I have been Ttc since June 2014 but haven't caught a bus since my last mc last March(2015) Both dp and I have avoided actively trying since then but having dtd last week and actually err finished dtd (sorry tmi) I think we are ready to go again.
Im going to try temping this time (the rustle of an opk being unwrapped is enough to give dp cold feet), any experienced tempers on the bus with any tips?
Just waiting for af to turn up ( and secretly hoping she doesn't ) some time around the end of the month.

whatamuddleduck welcome to the bus! And sorry to hear about your MC. I learned about temping from the tutorials on fertility friend and I highly recommend them.

DH just asked if we "needed to get going again" (ie DTD). I replied "No, not at all, absolutely not, totally infertile. No." He looked rather forlorn and said "Well we could just do it 'cos it's nice...". So now I feel like crap. But I still don't feel like sex. I feel like I have to rest up or something or my stamina will run out...

My excitement seems to have dulled itself to a few surges - which is a relief! How is everyone else feeling?

According to my period tracker app my cycles are all over the place. Anything from 25 to 37 days with a couple of outliers at 44 and 23 days! But they tend to go up and down in a cycle. Does anyone know what that means for ovulation? I am not really going to track it but I must admit I am curious.
