Oh my god banana I am so sorry! That is so cruel and unfair. You must be completely devastated. I feel heart broken for you. So, so sad. Please can take of yourself over the coming days and give yourself the time you need to come to terms with this. Wish I could give you a massive hug :-( We are all here for you.

It's my first post on here so hope it's ok to join.

funnybeanz you inspired me to say something as we seem to be in similar boats - I've also been trying since Jan 2015 and AF just arrived yesterday.

My DH has already had a sperm analysis done, he just got sent to a room with a jar and was told to go produce a sample... I didn't ask for details beyond that! It only took a few days to get the results back.

For us, we've both tested normal so we've been referred to the (in)fertility clinic. Just waiting to hear when our appt will be.

I'm kinda torn on this one, would obvs love for a miracle to happen before we have to go for more tests, but would also be reassured to have a few more tests done in case they could identify a problem that we could then try to fix, if you know what i mean, especially since I'd love a couple of babies but feel like I'm running out of time given that we've spent all this time trying and haven't even managed one yet.

I've not really caught up with the thread, I've been in South Wales visiting my Dsis and reception has been patchy. Just waiting for a train back to London now

Sorry you had to cancel your trip Stealth. Hopefully you start feeling better soon. I had bad pain and bloating after EC but it eased a lot in the week after transfer (my haul was much less than yours though)

Oh my God, Banana I am so so very sorry. I don't know what to say, this is so sad, life is cruel as fuck sometimes. Please take the time you need to get better, be kind to yourself and make sure you and dh are looking after each other. So sorry

Hello, well I am now pupo! The lining had thickened to 7.5mm which was the average of 3 readings. In some places it was 8.something. We chatted for ages trying to decide what to do and even spoke to the embryologist. They were happy with the lining at that thickness and said as its a day 3 transfer implantation wouldn't be for another 2-3 days so it will thicken more then. We put the 2 cell back as well as even though it has no chance she said it wouldn't harm. I really don't feel very hopeful at all for this go but I think that helps in a way as I don't really have any expectation for it to work.

Well that's 1mm thicker than my lining was at transfer, so I'm hoping you have more than enough there.

I'm still feeling crampy, starting to think Boris is right and this is the progesterone. Xx

I got excited for you when I read about the brown spotting Sammy. Not long until testing time now.

Oh, and welcome, island! No matter what stage we are at, I think we are all hoping for those miracles. Testing is good, though. I find its helped me feel a little bit more in control, and not like I'm doing nothing but waiting. :)

Welcome islandgirl, it's good to be in the system so things get moving while still trying naturally. It only takes one egg and one sperm and when you've been trying a while it can feel like it will never happen but you shouldn't give up hope.

Mpp, did your OH get a new SA after 3 months on fertilaid? Hope there's been an improvement.

We're 2 months into proxeed now so another 4 weeks and he should be producing quicker swimmers so I'll start temping and timing again then. Currently on CD5 so af just leaving. 2 months til our ivf appt now - it's so slow!

Sammy and Boris, hope the tww isn't too tedious.

Trixie and Stealth, when's your next appt?

Not for awhile star. Barring any need for medical assistance now due to ohss, that is! I've had the day 5 report from the lab & frosties are on ice so there's not much more to say until AF comes and/or my genetic screening results come back. PGS takes 2 weeks so I guess AF turning up will be the next milestone and and we can then start a FET (assuming I have recovered by then!). Tbh I'll be glad for a couple of weeks break - I have been so preoccupied with fertility stuff, not helped by feeling like crap for the better part of a month, that I really need to just put it to one side and concentrate on work for a bit.

Sounds like you are getting closer to a milestone. That's great news. So much waiting around isn't there?

Congrats lucie - exciting!

CD5 here too Star. We're back at the hospital for our nurses appointment at the beginning of April then AF should arrive a few days later and off we go again. I'm sure the next 2 months will fly by and at least things should move quickly once you've had your appointment. You never know, there's time for a proxeed miracle. My DH has started it, won't get the full 3 months but won't do any harm.

Lucie - 14 on ice + 5 are still going (grade 1/2 blasts) so will find out about them tomorrow. Obv very happy and hoping I never ever have to do EC again as it has been so hideous
