Hi all, can't quite remember when I last came on here. After getting BFP's from 11dpo to 16dpo (I thought was bfn on 16dpo but a line appeared afterwards) I started bleeding late Sunday night at 4+3 so i was right to be concerned over the lines not getting darker. It was light bleeding yesterday and I think it might finish today. Which I find a bit encouraging as my AF's had been short and light since going to Coventry despite the follicle scans saying my lining was ok in January. The fact I have have been bleeding since Sunday night hopefully means my lining was actually decent enough and that maybe it might actually be ok for implantation. Was just worried with AF's being 2 daysong as its abnormal for me. I guess my body must have responded to the progesterone the embryo causes and the lining built up more from that.

So no idea when I will next ovulated. Normally it would be cd26-30 but last month was very odd and ovulated cd18. Bleeding obviously started later than my AF would have done this month so no idea if that will adjust my cycle and so I really haven't a clue what to expect. Obviously I won't be taking clomid this month as couldn't risk taking it on the second day of bleeding as needed to make sure all trace of the embryo was cleared out and clomid always stops me bleeding. Not sure if I will try the clomid again, I have 4 cycles left if I want to. Feeling very negative about things, our first MC was Sept 2013, and we have been trying for another baby since Jan 2014 (admittedly trying was off/on due to house move and various tests/investigations) but having worked backwards this is the 9th time we have had BFP's that haven't resulted in a baby including the one from Sept 2013. Not sure how much longer I can keep dealing with this shit. I really want a baby, I have a house full of toys and clothes and baby paraphernalia we have put away, just waiting for a baby to arrive. But Mother Nature just doesn't want to co operate 😞

keepitgoing · 15/04/2016 12:19

I'm sorry you're feeling down loopy it's not surprising. all these bfps must be really draining. I hope you're managing to enjoy your boys

Last night was super stressful. toilet broke and water was coming in constantly so I had to keep flushing so it didn't overflow each 30 secs. DH at work and said he couldn't leave as people were trying to die... Turned off what clearly wasn't the stopcock, so water just kept coming out and I had to keep flushing. phoned emerg plumber who took 90 mins and a hefty price tag. meanwhile was wrangling an exhausted kip (thank goodness for tv) and getting her ready for bed in 20 second spurts - brush hair - flush - PJs on - flush. AAAh. of course when plumber arrived he turned off water in 10 secs and fixed in 20 mins.

get some (junk) food in you beedle

hope all is going well geek

BeedlesPineNeedles · 15/04/2016 13:51

loopy that many bfps that haven't progressed must be so hard, I'm not surprised you're feeling sad. I wish someone could give you some answers as to why it keeps happening (and then do something to make an embryo stick). take care of yourself Flowers

glad the toilet got fixed eventually keep

imps only a few Days to go till your scan, have you got anything fun planned for the weekend to take your mind off it?

I'm feeling a lot better now, but glad its almost the weekend!

Morning lovelies

Loops it is so tough for you to keep having chems. I'm not surprised it's taking its toll. I really really wish you didn't have to go through this. Are you on egg/sperm vitamins? It really is worth a try if not.

Keep what the hell did you do to your toilet?? Good point though - I wouldn't have the first clue how to turn the water off in my house so I must find out.

How are you feeling Beedle? Hope you slept well and are feeling less yucky. I'm still awake for a fair portion of the night but seem to have got used to it now.

Yes, only 2 days until the scan! I have a nice weekend ahead. Had a non-working day yesterday and Mr I took the afternoon off so we did touristy things and then went out for a MASSIVE dinner - I ate so much I honestly looked about 6 months gone on the way home. Luckily I was wearing a fairly loose dress and decided to just let my stomach fly free so looked really diffed. It was a very odd feeling actually!

Today we're going out for the day and tomorrow we're visiting the in-laws. So lots to keep me busy.

What are your weekend plans everyone? And Trix when do you start testing??

cartoontrickster · 16/04/2016 12:39

In 10 days imps I refuse to test early any more for the following reasons

  1. Waste of money
  2. Builds my hopes up with indent lines and evaps.
  3. I dont actually need to know early cos I shall not be having any drugs.
  4. I'm probably not diffed anyway.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend especially loopy.
Keep, toilet sounds a nightmare glad it's sorted now.

Imps9 · 16/04/2016 16:02

Sounds like an excellent plan Trix.

Hope everyone's okay.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 18/04/2016 06:13

Today's the day imps Good luck I'm sure Everything will be fine, but I know that won't stop you worrying. I'm worrying about mine and its not until the end of next week. What time is it? So I know when to turn my brooking Power to maximum!

geek how is Everything with you?

trix sounds like a good plan.I lke the idea of testing early but when it comes to putting it into practice I find it really stressful. If you're not having any drugs its probably far better to wait until AF is late (or at least until 13dpo or something!!)

fairly quiet weekend for us gym, food shopping, laying on the sofa being lazy! I have now read the instructions for my urine sample. They want fmu but Before I PIAR I'm supposed to wash and dry myself. Not sure how well that's going to work when I'm dying for a wee!

OP posts:
Imps9 · 18/04/2016 06:51

Blimey you have PIAR Beedles?? I didn't even think to check. Not sure if my teeny tiny pot came with instructions - will have to check.

A nice weekend here too - out for the day with Mr I on Sat - we walked for miles and embarrassingly my calves really hurt yesterday - have I really moved about so little in the past 10 weeks that all my "normal" muscles have seized up? Confused

Yesterday we were at Mr I's parents' but I had an annoying v sick day. Don't think they noticed.

Feeling okayish about the scan. Just want it to be done so we know where we are at the moment. Mr I is quite anxious - he launched into an uncharacteristic rant yesterday about how ridiculous it is that we have to wait 1-2 weeks for combined test blood results and how we should go private because the NHS is clearly substandard Hmm Really not like him at all (he loves the NHS and is truly grateful for everything it's done for him/us over the years) so I'm pretty convinced it was just anxiety talking. Christ knows what he'll be like in the run-up to the anomaly scan (if we get that far).

Geek how did drip go? And how are you feeling Keep?

Imps9 · 18/04/2016 06:52

Oh, scan is at 12.20pm Beedles. Have booked a day's leave so don't have to worry about working before or after.

keepitgoing · 18/04/2016 06:59

Good luck x a million imps. And BTW I think if you are high risk they call you in 2-3 days, so by the time the letter arrives you pretty much know. Stressful though

I think I felt a flutter this morning Grin

Imps9 · 18/04/2016 07:10

Thanks Keep - I will ask them when we will hear if we're high risk. Did you tell your boss yet?!? Very exciting re: flutter!

I took my "bumpie" this morning and think I have a slight bump showing compared to last week! I don't think it's just flab either.

cartoontrickster · 18/04/2016 07:12

Oooo how exciting keep
Good luck imps! Yes keep is right they call you pretty quick if you are high risk.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 18/04/2016 07:21

imps the PIAR is part of my booking in tests. I'm seeing the mw on Thurs with my wee sample, and then having standard blood tests (HIV and stuff that we've had Before for the ivf - tests that we've had Before not HIV!!) and the blood tests for my NT scan. So hopefully we'll get the complete result at the scan or very soon after. Best you don't tell MrImps that I get the blood tests early!

Are you going to post your bumpie? :o

Oooh keep how exciting - are you sure it wasn't just wind? :o

OP posts:
Imps9 · 18/04/2016 07:29

Ha I don't think anyone wants to see my side stomach profile Beedles Grin That said I did an images search of 13 week bumps yesterday - some ladies have massive bumps by this stage. Keep is yours really big given that you've already had Kip?

I'll keep your test turnaround time quiet Beedles lest Mr I insists we pack up and move to Sweden!

keepitgoing · 18/04/2016 08:14

That's odd beedle I was told they had to be done on the same day... Clearly not.

No imps my bump doesn't really show. I mean it does to me but you wouldn't notice if you didn't know. I've gained less than 2kg and 4 IR so is normal hope that's not a bad sign... funny how they vary so much. I'm doing Tracy Anderson the pregnancy project DVDs again so hoping that helps keep me in shape, it's really good, I feel much more energetic after doing it, oddly.

It's hard to say at this stage beedle! I don't think it was wind... Last time by 19 weeks I felt it and had an anterior placenta. So it probably is. It's funny you can't feel it more since the baby is 10cm plus legs, quite big really!

keepitgoing · 18/04/2016 08:15

4kg is normal

ControlGeek · 18/04/2016 08:27

Loopy I'm sorry, it's so, so hard and there is no justice in this world.

Good luck for your scan imps, this is it now lovely - it will be really real in a few hours Grin

Loving all the bump talk keep, beedle and imps, it's amazing how much it varies from person to person! Enjoy your official PIAR beedle!

The drip went fine, very efficient once we got there, after all the faff it took to arrange. My lines are still strong but I had a red bleed on Friday evening and so I'm steeling myself for the worst.

Week 5 is by far the hardest - far enough into it that thoughts have strayed to all the lovely possibilities, yet still a week away from being able to get even the smallest scan reassurance. Bloating seems to have gone down quite a bit, and no symptoms to speak of though I've read that prednisolone can mask pregnancy symptoms. I've normally got a lot of twinges and tugs by now. Hoping to stay busy with work, and at the same time just wanting to not leave my bed until next week. Weighed myself this morning and I've lost 1lb despite eating loads the last few days. Still little miss fartypants though!

cartoontrickster · 18/04/2016 08:45

Hehe farty pants. Yes geek the pred will mask your symptoms. So try not too worry.

Ooo I would love to see your bumpie imps

keepitgoing · 18/04/2016 08:50

geek sorry about your bleed, v scary. When is the scan?

trix hope the tww passes quickly and there's a lovely sticky bfp at the end of it

Yes, forgot to say I have told my boss. I work with loads of people in different teams so feeling a bit awkward about having to tell everyone. Think I'll just let them figure it out...

cartoontrickster · 18/04/2016 09:02

Af due in 8 days. keep can you not just tell a few people you like best and let the news spread around with out having to make an announcement or perhaps a group email?

Oh I think I was 16wks when I first felt N.

ControlGeek · 18/04/2016 09:03

Thanks trix that's reassuring - it's one thing reading about it, it's another to hear from someone who has experienced it with a healthy pg.

Well done on telling your boss keep. Perhaps make an experiment out of it to see how long you can go before you have a >50% suspicion rate? Grin

Yes, bumpie pic please imps - or as you would say, ... ahem... PHOTO!!!!

ControlGeek · 18/04/2016 09:04

Oops posted too soon - no scan date yet keep, I'm not booking it until Friday. It'll be towards the middle of next week.

Imps9 · 18/04/2016 09:13

Oh go on then, given that you've demanded asked so nicely... this is today's...

The one where we all get and stay diffed, and we're brooking no argument about it
Imps9 · 18/04/2016 09:14

And this is last Monday's... I can notice ever such a slight growth...

The one where we all get and stay diffed, and we're brooking no argument about it
Imps9 · 18/04/2016 09:18

Geek am willing the bleeding to stop. No one needs that sort of fright. Will you have your scan at the clinic where you had your intralipids, or can you book one more locally?

Only 8 days to go Trix. Are you ignoring symptom spotting too?

Hopefully your boss was okay Keep. Will be an interesting experiment to see how long it takes for word to spread!
