I'm still on fragmin until 13 weeks and 2 progesterone bum bullets per day until 12 weeks, and then one a day until 13 weeks. I don't think I need another intralipid treatment - the nurse at BH said I would as I'd only had 3, but I think she was just going by the numbers - most people have 4 in total, but the first one is before embryo transfer. Given that I didn't have that one, I wouldn't have thought I'd need another just to have 4 in total. But I will check with them after the scan to see what their advice is.

In between vomiting Beedles I haven't actually felt too awful so being at work has been fine. And I was only sick once yesterday and so far not at all today PLUS my appetite for healthy food has come back! Woo! frets that this means she isn't diffed anymore

Geek that line does look good. Very very very very highly doubt that AF would come with a nice line like that. 'Tis implantation bleeding and nothing more.

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 09:04

Oh and the one thing that helped make me feel better when I was feeling really shit was pineapple chunks. I'd have though they'd have been too acidic for a poorly stomach, but the sweetness and juiciness really helped.

Pastamancer · 06/04/2016 09:50

Well AF has turned up here today so I'm going all out with my hospitality so that she forgets all about you lot.

CountessOfStrathearn · 06/04/2016 10:27

keep, the hook effect is when the biochemical level is so high that it overwhelms the test and gives a false negative or more normal result. I see the myth repeating often around MN that HCG climbs and then goes back to 'normal' and that pregnancy tests don't work in later pregnancy but it really is just a myth. In the interests of science, at almost 32 weeks (with an UBB, beedles), I've just nipped to the loo with an IC: a very clear BFP.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_chorionic_gonadotropin#Reference_levels_in_normal_pregnancy (You'll see the really massive variation in normal, healthy pregnancies.)

geek, those look like lovely lines! Smile

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 12:08

So much for vom disappearing and healthy appetite returning - ate an apple about 15 mins ago which made me violently sick. Burst blood vessels all over my face (including on my chin Confused) and now I have to go out for a client lunch!

and wee came out so now I have wet pants too

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 12:09

Still, obviously I will take all of it if it means Implette is okay. I wasn't moaning, promise.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/04/2016 12:30

imps you poor thing hope you get through lunch ok don't vom on the client

I'm now imagining you in your sexy new trousers walking a bit funny because your pants are a liitle uncomfy :o

Don't forget the grotesque speckled face Beedles Grin.

Lunch was fine, but feel that it won't be long before I see it again!

ControlGeek · 06/04/2016 14:08

Beedle I am in awe of your language skills - I love seeing your multilingual fb posts, too - it makes me feel so cultured Grin

Oh imps you poor thing you have my deepest sympathies. I do hope you can keep it down though.

I'm knackered and actually had a sandwich at lunch (I don't normally have anything other than coffee) hoping it would make me feel better, but i just feel even more tired and a little bit queasy. I'm also incredibly bloated, to the point of self-consciousness (I think my waist has doubled from a month ago!). No scary moments so far today (emphasis added so the universe doesn't think I''m tempting fate or jinxing things) so just got to get through the most deathly dull afternoon at work without falling asleep Grin

ControlGeek · 06/04/2016 14:11

Oh, and imps I'm only having three intralipids, one was the day before transfer, one will be at 5 weeks and the final one at 10. What was your regime?

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 14:31

I had one at 4 weeks, one at 7 weeks and one at 10 weeks. I'd have thought that by 13 weeks the pregnancy is well established enough that another drip would be futile, but when I said this to the nurse she said "no, you do need 4 drips". Seems like bollocks to me, but I will get a second opinion.

Lunch did come back and am looking and feeling rough as a badger's arse. All because of an apple - I was absolutely fine before I ate that. Seems like a total overreaction, but there we go.

Beedles did you speak Swedish before you moved over there? Can't imagine it's an easy language to learn.

Geek feeling rough and being bloated is good! Brooking that little embie is getting stuck well in.

LOOPS how are you today? Any PIAR action?

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 06/04/2016 17:54

Sorry been busy here.

I POAS and not feeling at all hopeful. Am 13 dpo and lines still not dark.

The one where we all get and stay diffed, and we're brooking no argument about it
Loopyaboutmy2boys · 06/04/2016 17:55

And excuse my horrid nails, i attack them when stressed!!

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 18:22

I still think that looks decent Loops - definitely no lighter than yesterday's. What time did you PIAR?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/04/2016 18:24

Sorry loopy that doesn't look very promising. I'm so sorry, I do wish someone could work out why its not working for you and find you a miracle cure.

OP posts:
Imps9 · 06/04/2016 18:39

Don't forget you may only have implanted 4 or 5 days ago - if that's the case your HCG will still be very low.

I haven't given up Brooking on this one yet.

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 18:46

And do take a look at Dino's link above about normal HCG levels at various stages.

Imps9 · 06/04/2016 18:47

I'm really not trying to build false hope - I'd be the last to do that - but I don't want you to fret if there's actually no need to.

keepitgoing · 06/04/2016 20:15

Oh honey... I'm not giving up on this but it's not looking brilliant. I'm so sorry x

CountessOfStrathearn · 06/04/2016 21:13

loopy, I'll need to have a good look on my phone to see if I've ever kept pictures of my pee sticks but I've never had a decent line until AF is a few days late. There is clearly a line there.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 07/04/2016 07:06

POAS again and line is lighter than the others. My gut was right and this one isn't going to survive. Can't be arsed trying to take a photo. Am so so so sick of this crap. My lining was great in the clomid cycle, when it is likely to be at its worst because it thins it a bit, I had hysteroscopy that was fine bar a few small adhesions that he removed just because he was in there, all RMC tests fine apart from the lupus anticoagulant which clexane should fix, PCOS being treated for 3 months now. NK cells normal. Sperm repeatedly meeting egg, fertilising and implanting and then giving up. Just don't know what else to do. We wanted 4 children, 3rd should have been in 2014 and 4th in 2016. We have written off any hope of a 4th now, and if we get a
3rd it won't be until 2017 now. And I'm struggling to believe that will happen. We don't have money for IVF. And doubt that would help as nothing seems to stay implanted and law of averages one of them at least must have been good. Unles they are all duff and IVF could be used to pick out the best most normal eggs to put back in but if it's a problem with implantation then what's to say those wouldn't get rejected too. But all irrelevant as unless we win the lottery we won't have any significant money until whenever we inherit from our parents, and all 4 of them are still alive and whilst our Dads are ill and very much on borrowed time, I fully expect our moms to be alive for another 15-20 years. Just feel like something is wrong and I don't know how to fix it.

Imps9 · 07/04/2016 07:13

Oh Loops am so sorry, I just don't know what to say. Can you get DH's sperm tested? Have you had your AMH tests done?

Can you get more advice from Coventry?

Don't give up, Loops, never ever give up.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 07/04/2016 07:23

Brooking for a better peestick this morning loopy

I was wondering during my 3am insominia session, if you could persuade a dr to give you a dose of intralipids just after ovulation if this one doesn't stick . No idea if they would or how much it would cost but it might be Worth investigating. I Always feel a bit better if I can concentrate on what we can do differently next time.

I'm wfh today, and have set myself up laying on the sofa, its very comfy :o

BeedlesPineNeedles · 07/04/2016 07:28

so sorry loopy, I spent so long typing you'd already posted.

I agree that IVF probably wouldn't be Worth wasting your Money on, you make embryos and they obviously survive past day 5 and implant so I doubt that would give you any new information.

cartoontrickster · 07/04/2016 08:13

What a pile of shit loopy
Agree with imps don't give up.
