Maybe an inch. My 32s which I wear more it's about 2 inches. But when I take off my 30dd it's dug in around the sides even though a bigger cup gapes around the boobs, maybe I'm a weird shape

The 30 is correct. Do you scoop when putting your bra on? The cup sounds too small which is making the band dig in. If you had a bigger cup and scooped everything in then you would be more comfortable

Had another annoying dream last night - was at booking in appt and all the midwives laughed at me because I answered one of the questions wrong in the book. Then one of them told me I should cheer the fuck up and look as though I was enjoying my pregnancy, while another told me to tidy up all the toys and pick up all of the litter.

Anyone had a booking in appt that went like that? Confused

9do would be a little early. Ignore imps, she crazy! I can't remember if you work loopy - hope you have sth to take your mind off it while the boys are at school

Booking in appointments are answering lots of questions about family history, your health, where you want to give birth etc. Providing a wee sample, taking bp and blood samples are the physical things, I can't remember if they have a feel or whether it is too early for them to feel anything. You will get your notes which you have to take to every appointment and may be given a Bounty pack. If so then don't fill your details in, they are a ruthless company who will sell your details on for far more money than the few free samples they give you. Even if you tick the box saying you don't give permission they will ignore that. There are people who have lost their babies but Bounty keep selling details anyway and it can be really upsetting for stuff to turn up in the post. There are numerous MNers who have informed Bounty about losing their babies but Bounty just ignore them.

I got my Bounty pack already and threw away all of their marketing bumpf immediately having read numerous stories about their vulture-like attacks on new parents. A shame that the NHS associates themselves with a company like that.

Yes bounty are awful! That's horrible about those whove lost babies. They also hassle people to get pics done on the postnatal ward wtf. And the freebies not worth it anyway

BTW don't freak out, you don't have to really decide about where to give birth for ages

With DD1 I wanted the MLU and ended up in the main hospital. With DD2 I wanted a home birth and ended up, yes you guessed it, back in the main hospital again :o I'm brilliant at getting pregnant and utterly shit at dilating.

Ah well you can't have it all... I am hopeless at getting pregnant (unaided by huge amounts of drugs) yet dilated and birthed like a pro (am now panicking it will be too fast second time round as was under 4hrs from first contraction)

I don't work Keep, I had a high earning career but I became sahm after ds2, but school and nursery are on Easter holidays this week and the week after so boys are keeping me busy!

Keep good luck for scan. And my money is on you giving birth in 2 hours start to finish (based on 3 friends who don't mess about when in labour either!)

I remember the bounty woman after ds1 was born lol. I told her to go away. Repeatedly. I didn't want any photos, he was a home birth that ended up being a cat 1 EMCS under GA. He had transitional care and had a cannula in his arm and loads of stuff wrapped round it to try and stop him pulling it out, plus scabs on his head from the trace when I was in labour, and the last thing I wanted was her! She acted like I was the weirdest mother ever, how dare I refuse her kind offer to take photos! I didn't realise what a money making exercise it was, am so glad I told her to go away. When I had ds2 I never saw a bounty person at all which was lovely!!

slightly scared this morning by some brown stuff, virtually nothing when I wipe but its turned me inte a knicker-checking wreck again. On the plus side my boobs are still sore, I Think they might have grown again!

You've had brown stuff at least twice before Beedles and it's been indicative of absolutely nothing. No reason why this should be any different. If you get more can you arrange a scan for reassurance?

Speaking of scans - no more waiting after today Keep. I am sending every positive vibe I have your way. Remind me what time it's at?

No bra shopping yesterday as I'd forgotten that I was working from home. Will pop out this lunchtime. What better way to celebrate the end of the financial year at work?!
