Not yet beedle they'll be enormous! Better to just size up/ wear loose/elastic/ hairband through the button for quite a while yet I'd think. I did that till 25 weeks last time and even then mat clothes were big as they do for when you're enormous!

Impressive silent vomming imps they prob thought you were hungover...

Yes, 3 days

Imps9 · 28/03/2016 08:29

I treated myself to to some stretchy skirts last week - so damned comfortable. The elasticated waistband is much underrated.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/03/2016 06:24

loopy I thought wired bras are OK as long as they fit properly? Is it time for testing yet??

well done on the silent vomming imps hope the rest of the weekend went well too. i thought I might drop into conversation that I've eaten far too much chocolate over the weekend, in case anyone Thinks I look a Little fatter!

I wasn't thinking massive over the bump maternity jeans just some of the ones with a small elastic panel at the front. I hate anything really tight around my stomach normally so I'll probably be even worse soon! Perhaps I just need a good sort through my wardrobe to see what will fit for a while.

I'm the same with tight waistbands around my stomach. I have a few dresses which are a bit looser, but they look a bit like maternity frocks at the best of times and bizarrely I don't want to wear them at the moment in case people guess!

Had a dream last night that I had an 11 week scan and the baby was only measuring 6 weeks this time, despite measuring 9 weeks at the 9 week scan. Am assuming that embryos don't actually shrink in real life, even if there's something wrong, but it's shaken me up a bit Confused

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/03/2016 06:57

I have some rather loose tops that are the same imps I wore one last week and then made sure I had a tight fitting top on the next day, I was only working a half day and its only in the afternoon that I was looking bloated. Not sure how things are now, i've been wearing nice comfy yoga pants since Thursday! But I have a dress and leggings on today which are nice and comfy. And a scarf to hide my boobs which seem to be growing again!

Oh and I'm fairly certain embryos don't shrink. When is your next scan? I know keep has one in 2 Days time.

Imps9 · 29/03/2016 07:14

Don't have a date for my scan yet - got my booking in appt with the MW tomorrow and hopefully I'll get an appt fairly shortly afterwards.

When's yours Beedles?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/03/2016 07:24

ooh tomorrow, how exciting, then you'll be a MWEPP. I have the first appointment on the 11th, so just under 2 weeks time, then Another appointment the week after for some blood tests - I Think they're to do with the combined test for downs etc

keepitgoing · 29/03/2016 07:27

imps I had a dream that I pushed on my tummy and my waters broke through my tummy Button Hmm. Am proper scared about scan. The booking appt is mostly tedious but nice to be a proper pregnant person!

trix I dreamt you had a bfp too, busy night for me... Hope you're OK. How many months have you been trying now?

Any symptoms yet loopy?... Usually you know by now ;)

keepitgoing · 29/03/2016 07:28

Do you get a 12 week scan as standard at yours beedle? That's when they do the bloods here

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/03/2016 08:01

what's with all the freaky dreams?

Yes I get a 12 week scan, luckily as I'm old I get the combined test for free, if I was under 35 I'd have to pay Shock I don't Think it costs much though. I Think if they do the bloods first they can give you the result at the scan - no more waiting which is good!

Just a v quick post, re bra's when I had ds1 I was told that should move to non wired bras the earlier the better as wired bra's can affect what the boobs do during pregnancy to get ready for milk production and that it could affect breastfeeding if wear wired bra's. No idea if advice has altered re that or not.

Way too early for testing Beedle. I'm 5 dpo. So I have a long week ahead of me.

....and yes Keep, i can feel things happening again, think something is trying on my left hand side as I type. Willing it to be a good egg and that my body doesn't reject it from implanting.

Now 16 1/4lb lighter and hoping that and the metformin makes a difference.

keepitgoing · 29/03/2016 09:14

Yes, advice has changed re wired bras, fine so long as well fitting

Brooking for you loopy, test next Monday then?

Pastamancer · 29/03/2016 09:16

Wired bras are fine if they fit properly but if you have been fitted by the high street then that is incredibly unlikely to be right. If you are less than a D cup then it is very likely to be wrong.

When pregnant is the only time you should buy bras done up on the tightest hooks as your ribcage will expand and you have the extra hooks to let it out. To test your current bra put it on backwards so that the cups are behind youband just do up the band, don't put the straps on. Pull the band away from your body and see how far you can do this. If it is more than 1" then the band is too big. Most people wear a band that is too big and a cup that is too small

Imps9 · 29/03/2016 09:20

Ooh I must buy a tape measurements so that I can send you my boob measurements Pasta.

I did start using stretch mark oil yesterday and it's completely lush. Feels a bit pervy oiling up my boobs mind, but Mr I doesn't seem to mind Grin

I'm so glad we've got unisex toilets at work - just ran into the nearest one to bring up my breakfast, only to realise there was a big pool of piss on the back of the seat about 2 inches from my face. Urgh, men and their inability to piss hygienically.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/03/2016 10:21

urgh, imps not what you want to see when vomming

we have unisex toilets too, I've never encountered pee on the seat but some of them do smell a bit like a urinal at the end of the day - I assume they all do a Little drip on the floor and it just adds up. And some people leave huge skids in the toilet, which leads to the dilemma about whether I should use the loobrush to Clean them away or risk someone going in straight after me and thinking I left them!

Huh, I've just seen on the NHS website that smoked salmon is considered safe to eat when diffed. I'd always thought it wasn't because it wasn't cooked. Good to know though as I love smoked salmon.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 29/03/2016 16:23

Imps that's just grim! Men shouldn't be like that at work! The least they could do is clean up after themselves!! Has anyone at work twigged how much you are puking lately?

Keep Monday would be 11 dpo, whether I can hold out till then remains to be seen. Here and now I'd like to test 14 dpo so if any chemical it's likely it won't show by then, but I'm a nightmare for testing early so will see how long I last.

Imps9 · 29/03/2016 18:43

Are you stocked up on Superdrug earlies, FRER, or a combination of both Loops?

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 29/03/2016 19:04

Frer were on offer and cheaper than superdrug so I have a few Frer and some internet ones, can't afford to keep buying Frer's, spent a small fortune on them over the last couple of years.

Imps9 · 29/03/2016 20:42

Pasta just made my boobs grow MASSIVELY. From now on, she shall be known as MagicBoobLady.

Thanks MBL :)

keepitgoing · 29/03/2016 20:45

Ooh what are you now imps?

How do I measure myself properly? I've been told I'm a 30 but that often digs in

Imps9 · 29/03/2016 20:49

A 32D or DD potentially!!

Tomorrow I am taking my tits out shopping Grin

MagicBoobLady · 29/03/2016 20:55

Keep put a 30 on backwards so that the cups are behind you and don't put the straps on. If it is a new bra then do up on the loosest hooks, if it has been worn a lot then do it on the tightest hooks. Tell me how far away from your body you can pull the band
