Ohhhhhh is it today Beedles?? Oh my, brooking absolutely no argument that everything's fine. You've had no bleeding have you? Blimey, waiting for scans is the worst.

Pasta am a 34A expertly self-measured. There's no way a 32 would fit. Really, my boobs are that tiny - "boobettes" if you will. I would post a photo but it's not that kind of website.

Am not sure what's going on with 12 week scan form - the midwife yesterday said that the midwife at my surgery will need to send the form off and that I should speak to her to ask her. But I don't know who the midwife actually is - and not sure why I need to ask, would have assumed that the GP would arrange this. I will phone the surgery today to find out what needs to happen. Talk about cumbersome processes!!

Trix Friday is definitely not too soon. I say start testing today...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/03/2016 06:46

I'm trying to be logical about it having looked at mc statistics. As we had a good scan at 5w+4 the chance of mc was 12-15% if we see a hb today the chance of mc wil go down to 5%. So I Think that means the chance of it happening between the 2 Scans is 10%. I've no idea what the fequency of mc vs mmc is but if we say 50%, it would seem that as I've had no bleeding there is only a 5% chance that we won't see a heartbeat. I'm still scared though!

beedles - best of luck with your scan today

imps - delighted that yours went well.

Yes - I have a 3 year old, a 2 year old and The baby. When she was born, the others were 2 and 1 so people looked at me like I was a bit mad or part of a strange religious cult when we ventured out Grin

Re: boobs - agree that there is a fair amount of gain at the beginning but they level out

I always put weight on in the first 3 months as basically had to live on birds eye potato waffles, apple juice and ready salted Pringles. But then it all levels out too and I was lighter after having the last two babies than when I became pregnant Confused

Imps9 · 23/03/2016 07:15

I've just weighed myself - I've put on 200g! I think the vomming is balancing out the shitty diet (yes to potato products, crisps and shortbread biscuits. Oh and burgers too). Am hoping that I will face being able to eat oodles of veg once the sickness wears off.

Haa Beedles the stats obsession really takes hold in these early weeks doesn't it?! I'm exactly the same!

keepitgoing · 23/03/2016 07:17

That's a good way of thinking of it beedle, I like it! Hope you can keep busy today

I AM OFF THE DRUGS!! Mixed relieved and scared - it's all on me now!

Imps9 · 23/03/2016 07:17

Keep I was going to suggest maybe a private scan if you're feeling really anxious before your 13 week one? Not sure how much they cost, but could help to ease your mind.

keepitgoing · 23/03/2016 07:33

I'm on holiday though imps, just gonna ride it out, 9 days. Wish I'd had one at 10/11 weeks though

keepitgoing · 23/03/2016 07:34

8 days I mean. Kip woke up at 0500 today wtf. We are watching Teletubbies...

cartoontrickster · 23/03/2016 09:11

Got everything crossed beedle!

Damn it I don't take much encouragement bfn

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/03/2016 09:43

Beedle good luck for your scan and everything crossed for you.

Imps so so so pleased your scan went well. This is your baby!!!! And how ironic that you've been fed up of work for so long, gone down to 4 days a week, are preggo and now they decide to promote you lol! That will boost your maternity pay just nicely lol.

Trix it's a bit early for testing, if you had positive ov on 15th you may not have ovulated until 17th? We are the 23rd today, so 6 dpo, even if your body is weird like mine was last month when I discovered I ovulated the same day as a positive opk, you would only be 8dpo!

Keep well done on being drug free Grin

As for me, well we DTD sat night and had fertile mucus which three me as so early and then I started to feel like I was gearing up to ovulate. Have used loads of opk's in the last 2 days and I have an absolute stonker of a positive result this morning, so based on last month it's likely I will ovulate tonight. Oh and we just so happened to successfully DTD last night even though it was a weeknight and DH was tired from his long day commuting 😊 I am very gobsmacked by all of this. Today is cd17!!!!! If I ovulate today that means this should be a 31 day cycle. I haven't had a cycle that short in my life, apart from the first cycle I came off the pill which is when ds1 was conceived. Even in the last 2 cycles when I was taking 100mg a day of clomid to induce ovulation, I didn't ovulate until overnight cd19/20 and cd20 in the second cycle. So this month is looking like being 3 days earlier than that, but with no drugs making it early! Compared to my usual ovulation on cd26-30. Am trying not to get my hopes up but can't stop feeling that this has to be a good thing.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/03/2016 10:14

loopy weeknight rat-smacking and early ovulation - how could that not be a sign of success?

trix sorry about the BFN, but it was exceptionally early to test!

keep hope you're having a nice holiday, though 5am starts and holiday don't really go together!

keepitgoing · 23/03/2016 13:48

Wahoo amazing!!! Enjoy xx

Imps9 · 23/03/2016 13:54

Ohhhhh that is fabulous Beedles!!!!!!!!! What brilliant brilliant news!

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/03/2016 13:55

Imps highly unlikely DH will be up for it again tonight, I'm amazed he did it last night! He's had performance issues in the past, but we seem to be in a phase at the moment where more often than not it's not an issue for him to finish the job but if I start pressuring him to DTD too frequently I think it will cause those issues to happen again. I'm happy with us having done it 4 days before and 1 day before. His sperm have survived 6 days before now so reckon we should be in with a good enough chance. Sperm will certainly meet egg, just whether it's a good one or not and whether my crappy body lets it implant properly....

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/03/2016 13:57

Beedle!!!!!!cross posts there, that's amazing news! My god all 3 of you are having babies!!!

Please god let trix and me get our bfps and then I think this thread needs to move to antenatal lol (unless there is anyone else left trying)

Imps9 · 23/03/2016 14:15

Did you see the heartbeat Beedles? I didn't/couldn't see it at 7 week scan but saw it clearly yesterday. And the baby was wiggling around and everything! I didn't realise they could move already Blush

keepitgoing · 23/03/2016 14:22

PS get ready for 5ams beedle!

I saw HB at 7 weeks imps and remember kip dancing at 9 weeks last time

Well done loopy! Brooking for you

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/03/2016 14:22

Yes imps I saw it. The dr had to point it out to mrb, it was like 1 pixel on the screen blinking on and off. MrB said afterwards he didn't realise we would see a heartbeat Hmm clearly we've gone a bit too far with burying our heads in the sand and not talking about it :o
Oh and there was still no hiding the screen from us, though there was still a tense few seconds till he centred in on it.
