Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a <strong>Kitten</strong> = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like <strong>'something'</strong> = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a <strong>hooya</strong> = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a <strong>Lemon</strong> = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Hi Name your name change fail made me chuckle Smile Welcome, we are all pretty friendly and love an over-share!

My cycle seems to have become pretty regular quite quickly after coming off the pill - having said that, I've just looked on ovia and the last 3 months have been 32, 28, 33... Is that still regular? There's not much in it but I guess not!

lildottie · 05/02/2016 18:57

Evening. cats I honestly don't mind answering qns about my experience so pm me anytime. And anyone else who wants to ask about ivf and referrals etc.

Any fb group adds pm me email and I'll do if just can't. Think I'm adnin on there.

CountryGal4 · 05/02/2016 19:03

My post pill cycles were anything from 21 right up to 43 days for 12 months post pill before I got upduffed

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 19:07

That's regular scottish, the follicular phase can vary but luteal phase won't. Think unless they are more than 7 days in length different it's ok and as country has shown even then it is fine!

NameChange30 · 05/02/2016 19:11

last Because MNHQ have been amazingly efficient (especially this last time), thanks MN! Hopefully I won't forget again but I wouldn't put it past me, in which case you'll have another chance! If you're really curious I'll PM you Smile

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 19:12

I'm just nosy! You can keep your anonymity Wink for now!

NameChange30 · 05/02/2016 19:13

I meant just not last! I'm not with it today AT ALL Grin

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 19:14

I guessed! I'll answer to anything

Kwick709 · 05/02/2016 19:15

Viroids i am only on page 3 but have terrible memory so will reply as i go

Stitch is indeed experiment 626 from lilo and stitch - i love him :)

I am downregging - not sure what protocol - egg collection next cycle.

Just on heathrow express now... What a week! Thanks to you guys now I really fancy a curry!!!!

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 19:15

Ooh curry! Hope you have some downtime this weekend kwick!

FuzzyOwl · 05/02/2016 19:17

How did I miss another name fail?! Confused

My cycles are all over the place but I use Fertility Friend and Period Tracker (because I can add specific symptoms to it). Neither are ever that accurate although FF has a fairly good guess.

Oh Kwick, I have just ordered an Indian takeaway. How are you feeling now? Hope you have a quiet weekend to recover from this week.

Kwick709 · 05/02/2016 19:36

On page 5

As far as I understand it (this ivf malarkey is brand new for me) down regging is where they suppress ovulation, next cycle I will take shed loads more drugs and stimulate follicles and hopefully they will get loads of eggs to mix with magic potion.

I am trying to keep anxiety at bay and failing miserably as if I am to be a good citizen I will have to save up before I can do more ivf if this time does not work.

This week has been so intense. My sil suggested I go down the surrogacy route if this does not work... I wanted to deck her. I do so much want to have a baby inside me.

As you can see I have become a moody violent cow.

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 19:38

She probably meant well but how tactless! I'm moody too Wink

CountryGal4 · 05/02/2016 19:43

Wohoo to moody. Quick eat cake!

Kwick709 · 05/02/2016 19:46

Viroids have low key weekend planned - including seeing my cousin who had twins through ivf.

Definitely having a takeaway - not sure which cuisine yet... I am in taxi on way home... At last!!!

Btw i am very overweight and no one has said anything at clinic about this... I have increased my dose of folic acid though. My plan is to lise weight with morning sickness... Will most likely fail on that front too but just cannot handle anything further at mo.

Also I have lots of pcos symptoms - sometimes cysts, lovely facial hair, severe weight gain, insomnia... Clinic not really done anything about that either. But you all now know why I have to do this with magic potion!

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 20:02

Ooh lovely mental picture of you now kwick Wink to be fair I can't talk, I'm currently wearing a t shirt I spiked sweet and sour sauce on and have rubbed mascara down my face and can't be bothered to wipe it off. Dp says I might need to buy my own potion if I continue!
I'm sure you're not v overweight, it's bmi that matters anyway and I'm sure that's only so nhs have more reasons to not pay out!

If it helps I am not overweight and have no pcos symptoms etc and I'm still not pregnant! Neither of those things have stopped my friends getting pregnant. bitter

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 20:06

Dp been snoring on sofa since 6, I am watching Jamie Oliver, not even that fussed by my wine. Having tea instead. Even the cat is ignoring me Sad

Seeing a friend this weekend who has been abroad for years, cat was here originally and we adopted when she moved away. I'm pretty sure she's mainly coming to see cat! I'll have to frisk her on way out!

NameChange30 · 05/02/2016 20:11

Kwick are you on clomid? Sorry if you already mentioned it and I missed it!

I know someone with PCOS who had to get her BMI under 35 (I think) before she could take clomid.

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 20:17

kwick is having ivf with doner sperm name, she's an honorary js'er!

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 20:18

No cake in house country Sad
Can't stop thinking about your waffles! I need a waffle machine!

NameChange30 · 05/02/2016 20:19

Ah thanks for filling me in! Sorry kwick! I realise clomid is probably beside the point now you're having IVF (just a bit nosy curious about it because of my friend who has PCOS)

justtheonethen · 05/02/2016 20:28

There are a few viroids who have taken clomid name so if you have questions then ask! My friend conceived recently on clomid with pcos but I don't know much about it

Ain626 · 05/02/2016 20:31

Chatty viroids tonight. I love it. Grin

Maybe if a few more people joined our FB group it would become a little more active again... Most the viroids on it are grads these days!

Hello name Also intrigued of your true identity, but purely because it's a secret! Haha

Kwick I love that you meant Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. We have something in common there. I love Stitch - It's one of the 2 reasons to why I have '626' in my username! Watched the film again a couple nights ago actually.

Stumbly you can join me in trying to lose weight. I'm currently really annoyed though because my weight has jumped right up this week. I'm hoping it's just because of this 'period' I seem to be having.

Which leads me nicely to nfmv: I am bleeding again. More than spotting this time, but still light. A panty liner is enough, I don't need a proper pad/tampon. So does this affect my CD do you think? Is this CD5 or CD1? If it's CD1 will it cause me issues with the soy that I started taking yesterday when I thought I was on CD4?

Also in my noseyness Kwick which direction you headed on the Heathrow Express? Being a nosey cow as if I want to go into London after work it's actually often the train I take... Actually... wait... I mean I take the Heathrow Connect. Not the express.
