Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a <strong>Kitten</strong> = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like <strong>'something'</strong> = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a <strong>hooya</strong> = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a <strong>Lemon</strong> = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

I live in Surrey...I don't care too much about being outed as I'm an oversharer open book in RL anyway Grin

CountryGal4 · 05/02/2016 20:47

Waffles could totally be code for boobs. I have cake and a waffle iron.... When will you be moving in?

Scratch that house is a mess. Il pack both and come live with you!

AliceScarlett · 05/02/2016 20:49

I'm in Surrey too!

lildottie · 05/02/2016 20:57

kwick sounds like you are on a pill cycle to dr now and are doing superovulation after next "bleed" (I got one on cycle 1 but not really on cycle 2) with a Dr drug then a superovulation drug? I did bcp cycle, then Dr with buaerelin for 2weeks then added menipur for superovulation for 11days before pregnyl trigger. This is long protocol. Short protocol they basically skip the pill cycle and don't Dr as long in the drug cycle I believe

stumblymonkey · 05/02/2016 21:00

Oooh...I'm sort of near Guildford way. I'm thinking Kwick could be my sort of way if she's getting the Heathrow Express.

Could give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money me.

I've told DP in no uncertain terms that he's not allowed to be 'too tired' tonight as I've got my cape on, we were going to watch a film and he pointed out that he'd be too tired by the time it finished so we should watch something else!

stumblymonkey · 05/02/2016 21:01

Wow.....superovulation! Do you get a spandex outfit for that?

Just I have PM'd my email to you for the FB group....I will unleash my ugly mug on you all Grin

Ain626 · 05/02/2016 21:11

I'm actually not far from Heathrow, so Guildford isn't too far from me either Stumbly

OP posts:
AliceScarlett · 05/02/2016 21:23

I was in Guildford today! Small world.

Decided to kind of follow the SMEP, but without the opks and with pre seed, note to self - you do not need anywhere near as much as the instructions say. CD8, let juicy week begin.

NameChange30 · 05/02/2016 21:27

Ain626 Do you have much to lose? Good luck with it, I know it's not easy.

Right, I do think it might be ice day so I'm off to seduce DH... Feeling really tired tonight so I hope it's a quick one! Wish me luck Grin

AliceScarlett · 05/02/2016 21:30

Good luck! Tell him there is no way you could possibly be fertile Wink

stumblymonkey · 05/02/2016 21:30

Me too.....let the JS'ing commence across the South East region Grin

Kwick709 · 05/02/2016 21:35

I just had ribs, wings and chilli con carne... Definitely fallen off no red meat wagon again Blush

Feeling very stuffed! in a non-js way!!

Never taken clomid - see it mentioned all the time... Is it to stim follicles?

I lent my Lilo & Stitch dvd to one of my (3!) bosses... Still not been returned...

Ain626 · 05/02/2016 21:36

Good luck viroids! Get donning that cape!

Name I have what feels like loads to lose. To be fair I could probably do with losing a few stone (most viroids know this, so sorry for repeating, but I'm pretty short so my BMI is extra high at my current weight. Annoyingly if I were 5' 6" at my current weight I would already qualify for clomid and wouldn't be a million miles away from qualifying for IVF...)

Kwick709 · 05/02/2016 21:39

Ain i chuckled at your message :) i am a north London bird - I could get tube back from Heathrow but Express plus taxi is marginally quicker. I love that you have 626 in your name.

FuzzyOwl · 05/02/2016 21:47

I am not very far from Guildford either. Smile

Ain, do you often use soy? I remember when I was ttc last time several ladies having success with it and I was considering trying it at some point (nothing to lose!) so interested in how you get on.

Kwick709 · 05/02/2016 21:49

lildottie fanks for clarifying - yep I must be on long protocol.

name welcome and good luck with dtd. I wish i was having mecsome chukka-chukka.

Not sure if I mentioned earlier - anaesthesiologist asked me before op how much I weigh and I said too much. They weighed me.... Historic high of 102kilos - I am only 5ft4"!!!!

Oh and I may be pcos symptomatic but my periods are regular.

Ain626 · 05/02/2016 21:51

Fuzzy haven't really used it before... Just giving it a go to see what happens. I'm hoping it'll shorten my cycle a little bit. I'll keep you updated.

Guildford meet up? Haha.

DH is annoying me tonight. But I think it's me being in a grumpy/irritable mood rather than anything he's doing.

OP posts:
Ain626 · 05/02/2016 21:53

Kwick you made me feel hungry...

OP posts:
AliceScarlett · 05/02/2016 22:11

Ain626 · 05/02/2016 22:13

I'm not actually a fan of ribs... But I do like TGIs!

OP posts:
AliceScarlett · 05/02/2016 22:18

Jack Daniels sauce

Ain626 · 05/02/2016 22:23

I really like chicken.

OP posts:
Ain626 · 05/02/2016 22:24

I meant at TGIs chicken there...

But I do just really like chicken... Hmm

OP posts:
AliceScarlett · 05/02/2016 22:33

Nandos chicken is sub standard. There I've said it.
