Hi!
I need some tww buddies!
I think I ovulate around a weekago so I have one more week until AF is due! (Used preseed this month)
I'm not crazy into symptom spotting but I'm pretty sure something's going on. I feel like I'm getting a cold and have been having cramps and nausea!

Really sorry, my phone just isn't playing ball. Can't get photos to load again. Here is a link to a thread I posted the pics to at 11.46 today.

Apologies, one is blurry, but the other two are clear. Thanks for looking, all advice greatfully received!!! :)

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:33

Must I can't click on the link for some reason and don't have any experience of Lloyds tests I'm afraid. If be inclined to say that there wouldn't be a faint pink line before testing though, the tests are usually stark white.

I've just done a FRER and have a real real squinter of a line, I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or not. I'll try and post a pic.

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:34

Oh god, I've just looked at that pic and I can't see the line in it! I'm clearly going insane!

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:36

Just found your thread, I can see the line! Pretty sure that wouldn't have been there prior to testing

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 12:36

oh my word, that is a line!!!!! :) CONGRATULATIONS!!! it's a very faint line, but it's a line!!!

oh no, that's crap the link isn't working. The name of the thread, under conception is

anyone else testing (home pg test) in the morning?

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 12:37

time to get yourself a drs appointment *cakeandchocolate" congrats again :)

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:38

Thank you! I've just looked again and although it's been more than 10mins now and you are supposed to discard the line has got stronger. Argh!

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:39

Photos are crap, it's def there in real life. I'll be testing obsessively every day now to see if the line gets darker.

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 12:44

yup!

are you testing before/on/after af being due to arrive?

based on the lines i the photos, I'd def go ahead and contact gp (sooner you get it confirmed by them, the sooner you get on the list for your twelve week scan) Grin

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:46

AF not due until Tues so VERY early. I've had a chemical before so think I'll wait to see if I get to the end of next week before booking a GP appointment.
Did you test with FMU this morning? Your line is a lot stronger than mine!

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 12:53

Yes, FMU. Hadn't planned to test today, but it was "gut instinct" told me to. So I held on tight, raced to chemist, and raced home to test!

If due on Tues, you're testing five days early. Most brands are "proven" to be reliable from four days early. So it's very possible your hormone levels are high enough to be detected. Others would tell you it could be an indicator of boy vs girl, others might say twins!! Wink

either way, enjoy this special feeling Smile

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 12:54

I simply could not cope with twins! I'm not getting my hopes up yet, just going to sit tight and hope that line gets stronger. Are you going to test again tomorrow?

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 12:56

Yes, will test again tomorrow, and if it's ANY stronger at all I'll be on the phone to make GP appointment!

Nicky883 · 25/02/2016 13:20

Af due tomorrow bfn this morning on frer so i am out for this month :(

Nicky883 · 25/02/2016 13:20

Congrats cake and must

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 13:40

sorry to heat that nicky :(

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 13:52

Sorry Nicky, have Wineand Chocolate

Nicky883 · 25/02/2016 13:57

Will do cake ! I shouldnt feel that bad as this is the first month we are trying but cant help it ;) i convinced myself i was pregnant :p oh well i will wait for af now and start again !

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 14:04

i don't know if it's any consolation to you nicky, but with dc1 all my tests were negative until four days after period was due!!!!! guess my hormone levels were just lower than the average used for tests.

Cosmomouse · 25/02/2016 14:14

Congratulations mustthink and cake I can see lines on both of yours!

nicky what makes you think you are out? You are not out until she shows her face Smile

Nicky883 · 25/02/2016 14:15

Thank you must but i dont think i am that lucky :) this is my ttc1 so i dont have any other experiences :)

Nicky883 · 25/02/2016 14:16

Hi cosmo i guess is the pessimist in me :) and the realist :p since the boxes of poa say 99% accurancy one day before af

mustthinkofabetterusername · 25/02/2016 17:37

thank you cosmo!

hinicky! I don't know if you've gone down the temperature, ovulation chart etc route. But if this is your first month trying and it doesn't happen this month, I would strongly suggest just having sex every two-three days. That way there will always be pretty fresh sperm where it needs to be, when the egg is released. I'm not knocking the other methods. But what I can say, is that of my friends in real life, who started with the more "scientific methods", they were the ones who got most stressed out and had the longest wait for pregnancy to happen. If you can, just enjoy the process, note in your diary when your period starts and how long it lasts, and after six months if there is no baby made, then start with temps etc but KEEP HAVING SEX EVERY 2-3 DAYS! I know this is pretty obvious, but sometimes when you're disappointed about not conceiving the previous month, the last thing you want to do is dtd.................but that's what makes a baby!
I hope this doesn't sound preachy, I'm not an expert, but just someone with enough friends and personal experience of ttc to make a few suggestions

Nicky883 · 25/02/2016 17:45

Not at all must thanks for the advice that is what my DH is saying as well .
I think i ll stop obsessing with opks and synptoms and just have a lot of dtd:p I have always had 27 to 28 days cycles
And i am still in my twenties with a normal bmi so i shouldnt really be stressed but as always i am overthinking staff . I think will take your advice and just let nature take its course . Thank tou for making me realize that Smile

CakeAndChocolate · 25/02/2016 18:31

Looks like I wasn't imagining that second line earlier.... Just used a CB digi and it wasn't fmu. Eeek.
