Hi!
I need some tww buddies!
I think I ovulate around a weekago so I have one more week until AF is due! (Used preseed this month)
I'm not crazy into symptom spotting but I'm pretty sure something's going on. I feel like I'm getting a cold and have been having cramps and nausea!

Belle my friend had no symptoms. I had been feeling really sick for a few weeks before my bfp and worked back to 1dpo. Every pregnancy is different so if you have no symptoms don't worry xx

I have no idea what's going on with me either!

The spotting never turned into AF but came and went over 4.5 days which seems a long time - very light period?

I have been symptom spotting, my boobs are swollen and occasionally a bit achy, nothing noticeable if I wasn't looking out for it! I am also feeling sick when I smell certain foods (just gagging, I haven't actually been sick!).

I bought a load of cheap sticks from the internet so just tested this morning for the hell of it! Opk came up very strong positive (??) but pregnancy test was clearly negative.

I have really confused the hell out of ovia anyway :-)

Will dtd again in case my body has decided to ovulate NOW instead.

Most likely, it is most likely my body playing cruel tricks on me. I have ordered some agnus castus after researching how it can help regulate cycles (I only get 1-2 a year) but won't take it until my body has settled down from this wierd ness!

Belle, I had no symptoms with DS1. In fact, I only thought I was pregnant when I started to get a bump! Grin

Oh no Cosmo that's shit! I was tempted to try an OPK over the weekend - no idea why as I don't know what it would of possibly proved?! Can't that be a sign if pregnancy if it's a positve? My boobs are tender and my nipples are really over sensitive. I wouldn't say sore or hurting but just really sensitve. Xx

Belle I have zero willpower so I would try the opk!

But that is just me, it is probably sensible to wait!

I've heard that a positive opk can signal pregnancy (but in my case the pregnancy test was negative) - I'm not sure how it works though!

Cosmo i hope you find out either way whats happening to your body!! Maybe youre ovulating now?

Belle It can signal pregnancy sometime but id think for a true answer a pregnancy test would be better. Fx for you!!!

Cosmo I have heard of people getting two positives at different places in their cycle. Do you have regular cycles. Someone said that the first time was their body trying to ovulate but it didn't so it tries again later in the cycle. Have you recently came off the pill?
Thanks Kellz - no I'm not going to do it but it was just a weak monent! I secretly want to text already but know I won't able to handle a negative pregnancy test! Is it crazy to say it's quite nice this part of the month when you can think well maybe I am pregnant! Xx

No my cycles are definately not regular! I have had one period since March last year (not counting this wierd spotting this time)

Not been in the pill - had a DS in December 2014 and never went back on it.

Have my fingers tightly crossed for you!

Yes I always try and fool myself into oh it will be ok if it's negative atleast you know one way or the other. The reality though is some what different! I'm on CD34 today my cycles range between 33-36 on average some have been longer though. Is it right that technically your period is due 14 days after ovulation? So that would mean it should be here tomorrow / Wednesday based on my positve opks. They were strongly positve Monday night, still positve Tuedsay morning but slightly fainter and then nothing at all on Wednesday so would that mean it was likely to be some time Tuesday? I'm hopping so as we DTD Sunday, Monday, Tuedsay but not Wednesday xx

Thats what i think!!

I think it is, i always come on 14 days after ov (Except this cycle). If you got your positive Monday/Tuesday you would have ovulated up to 36ish hrs after that i think. im sure you will have been fine, swimmers last 5 days i read.

Ladies can I join? Going a bit crazy here! 9dpo and I think I have signs but thought so the last 2months aswel!
Can I ask some advice,I did a test today and was bfn because it's obviously too early but I'm due to go away tomorrow and I know there will be lots of drinking involved. Should I try and avoid or just drink as I haven't had a bfp? X

Hi Norris,
I think it's such a personal choice! Myself I would drink like normal. After 8 months trying, the first few months I didn't touch a drop but as time has gone on I've just thought I can't keep putting my life on hold for something that's not even happened yet! So I would say go enjoy yourself and even if you are pregnant I would guess your far too early to harm anything. Think if all the 1000's of women who aren't even TTC and fall pregnant I bet they drink or smoke for way longer than 10-15 dpo! Xx

Norris id enjoy yourself. When I found out I was pregnant with DD it was on my honeymoon and I had been drinking at the wedding and on the run up to bfp. You would regret it if you didn't drink and you got your bfn xx

Sorry I haven't used this type before is it the second faint line next to the strong line? If it is I would say definitely a positive!! Congratulations!!! Wow and your only 10dpo! Xxx

Hi Belle8, thanks! Yes it's the fainter line which confirms pregnancy on these tests or the line can also become as strong as the other line. (Going to buy another brand tonight that gives a definite answer). Just wanted to see if anyone else agreed with me. My cycles are quite long and irregular, so I never expected it this quickly!
