😂 ha think my booty call wins. He's coming from literally half way around the world to get me upduffed. (Hopefully!) Then going back to work after 5 days 😄 Bloody better happen for us after that mammoth effort!!

IThoughtItWasAFart · 23/01/2016 08:16

Wowzers that is commitment!!

Dp drove two hours to try this month. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I'd got my fertile stage wrong.

Nimisha · 23/01/2016 10:16

DH always seems to ahem "take his time" whilst dtd. Sometimes I just wish for a quickie.

Planeteer · 23/01/2016 12:17

Hi all,

Room for one more on this bus?

I'm 29, ttc #1, cycle #1.

Cycles hilariously all over the place post pill - so far 97 days (yikes), 63 days and currently cd59 with no sign of AF. Have had a bit of spotting but that's disappeared now, and am resisting the urge to POAS every 5 minutes. Gah!

Celen · 23/01/2016 13:28

CD14 and I've got a solid smiley on the ole CBD this morning so I shall have to jump DHs bones later Wink And tomorrow too.

Then yet another long, tedious 2ww starts #dullsville...

Celen · 23/01/2016 13:30

Planeteer that sounds like a right pain!! And welcome Smile

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 23/01/2016 13:36

Got quite a dark line on OPK this morning (not FMU - a bit later) and have just done another. It's noticeably fainter. So, did I just catch it on its way back down, meaning the LH surge was last night? Or what? The first, darker line was only about two-thirds as dark as the test line.

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 24/01/2016 10:22

I've killed the thread!

Hopefully everyone's too busy DTD.

I felt inspired to raise my game by tinypawz and managed twice in one day yesterday. Unfortunately, OPK is super dark today, after confusing me yesterday, so DH will need to dig deep.

Nimisha · 24/01/2016 10:29

Good luck giraffe hope your DH is up to the job today. Hopefully there will be plenty of little swimmers waiting for your egg. Are you temping too?

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 24/01/2016 10:46

I am temping - no rise this morning. Maybe today's the day!

Lucinda15 · 24/01/2016 10:56

giraffes I am mega confused with the opk's. I am on cd13, been doing opk's last 48hrs middayish and mid afternoonish. All negative. I am not too worried as I ov'd on cd16 last month so cld be a bit early for a positive opk - but after realising how small the surge window could be I'm beginning to think I cld easily miss it. Still smeping but going to start dtd every day from this eve - just hope I ov soon and we don't run out of steam!! Touché on ur twice a day Wink xx

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 24/01/2016 11:36

Well I was convinced I was about to ov, so DTDx2 seemed worth it. I'm quite cross the OPK is still dark! I'll be fit for nothing at work next week at this rate. I shall have to blame the lack of sleep on DDs.

Celen · 24/01/2016 12:15

Dtd last night and will do it again tonight. After my solid smiley and the darkest line that I've ever had on my opk ics, I had major pelvic pain last night Shock I'm hoping it was ov happening and that the little eggy will stay ok til tonight ...otherwise it's a bit worrying what that cramping was Confused

Funny how a quite a few of us are ov-ing around the same time, be nice to get bfps at the same time too Grin

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 24/01/2016 12:26

Sounds like it's all go for lots of you. Very exciting. Cd7 here. Will start opks tomorrow I think, but no way I can test at work so will have to be evenings only. Last cycle I tracked I ovd cd11 but am so irregular... just going to go for every other day or so and see what happens!Blush

Lucinda15 · 24/01/2016 16:02

Oh god....I'm really struggling today.does anyone feel like ur in the middle of a TTC storm of craziness, and sometimes just want to throw ur hands up and say f@*k it all and never POAS or temp or opk or symptom watch or take another effing conception vitamin ever again!??? I'm feeling like that today. Except I can't give up bcos I so desperately want this. It's just - god it's maddening sometimes. It's taking longer than we expected and I feel like a failure. It would have been the due date of my first mc baby on Wednesday. Pretty sure that's behind this sudden low mood. Hopefully it will pass.

glass or two of wine with dinner tonight methinks Wine

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 24/01/2016 16:33

Lucinda Flowers I remember very well being so fixated on my original due date after my MC between my DDs. All I can say is, it was worth it to get DD2 and that time now seems very remote. Perhaps you need a break from all-out TTC for a month? Also, on my MC due date, I still do something just to mark the occasion. Maybe light a candle, or go for a walk to contemplate. I find my DH completely doesn't 'get' this, particularly after I got pregnant again.

Bananarma · 24/01/2016 17:43

Hi all

Can I join you?

29
Ttc #2
Cycle 1

First time planning a pregnancy as Dd was a surprise. Came off cerelle last month. I know I ovulated today but totally confused by my Ovia app. Love hate relationship there. Right going to read up on the posts xx

Celen · 24/01/2016 18:07

Oh Lucinda that's bound to be a hard anniversary to lead up to. Last August was the first anniversary of my first MC but I happened to be pregnant so it was ok. Of course it ended up in an mmc so come March, I shall probably be feeling much the same.

Raising a Wine to you, hope your low mood passes soon x

Lucinda15 · 24/01/2016 19:23

Welcome banarama totally relate to that, ds1 was a surprise. What sweet bliss that was, this TTC malarkey is a right head ache!!!

Thanks celen and giraffes I am trying not to fixate on the date but it's just there, looming on the horizon. I remember after the mc I was hopeful and optimistic that we would have a baby soon. And I'm just a bit gutted that here we are at the due date still struggling along without success. Lots of people around me are due within a few week so lots of baby showers and baby talk and excitement. I genuinely am happy for them - just, reminds me of where I hoped I would be about now, and where I am instead. Wears u down.

I am also quite convinced I am not ovulating this month....cd13, negative opk's and very little cm to speak of, let alone ewcm.

giraffes sometimes I really do think perhaps I should have a break from TTC but it just feels so hard to actually go through with that....and I always cave in! It's like a conveyor belt I can't get off! I'll see what DH thinks.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words and support. I really appreciate it Flowers

Celen · 24/01/2016 19:46

After an MC you just expect to fall pregnant quickly again don't you? And everyone around you telling you that you're supposedly more fertile after an MC, it's just such bullshit really. Ladies who have fallen pregnant straight after are just bloody lucky frankly, there's no scientific evidence I've found for it Angry

Sorry, I'm getting down from my soapbox now Blush

I'm thinking of you anyway x

Lucinda15 · 24/01/2016 22:25

Thanks celen Smile Wine hit the nail on the head!! Fx (again) for some BFP this month!! Xx

EnglishExpatUSA · 25/01/2016 01:54

Sorry to hear of your mcs ladies Flowers. Lucinda I didn't have any signs of ovulation at all until EWCM on the night of cd14, and ovulated cd15. Hang in there.

2dpo here and already symptom spotting! Had to turn off an advert for toenail clippers while I was eating my lunch earlier as it made me want to vom! Also really noticed the strong chemical smell in the cleaning products aisle shopping this afternoon. Obviously this is probably all total coincidence as too early even for implantation yet, but my mum always tells me she fainted the morning after she conceived me, so who knows there could be something in it! Last time the first thing I noticed was weeing much more and during the night, and wee had a funny smell (sorry tmi) about 5dpo.

Lucinda15 · 25/01/2016 06:58

Thanks english feeling a bit brighter today. Sort of decided to not give a damn this month - then promptly took my temp as soon as I woke Hmm old habits die hard!! Anyway - cd14, negative opk's and no cm BUT massive temp spike today....not really sure if I'm coming down with something or I'm ovulating?! Normally I get pain with it but nothing so far. Its prob just an anomaly but given me a bit of hope. Decided to just dtd every other day and chill out about the whole thing, so will plod on.

Good luck everyone Flowers

Celen · 25/01/2016 07:09

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better this morning Lucinda x

I'm 1dpo...and now time will stand oh so still Shock
