February bus - all aboard for bfps

There doesn't seem to be a February bus yet but that is where I need to be because of longish cycles.

I'm 35 (how did that happen??)

Cycle 1 (well, tried to catch the first egg after stopping bf, but that was a long shot, not even sure if I ov'd. Now having my first AF since 2014 23 days after stopping bf, woohoo!)

I have a DD nearly 7 months old.

This has to be luckier than the Jan bus! Baby dust all.

I decided to treat myself to the clear blue dual hormone opk. Obviously 50 cheapy opks weren't enough 😂 So cd9 yesterday was the blank circle, cd10 today I had the first flashing smiley.
Im only testing this cycle just to reassure myself I still ov around cd15.

Dh gets home 13th Feb so should be perfect timing!

Could anyone explain to me the acronyms in the thread. I'd love to get in the bus but feel like I don't know the password

Af = Aunt Flo (period)
Ttc = trying to conceive
Tww = two week wait (also known as the place where time stands still)

I guess the two week wait is the gap between ovulation and AF?

Cd = cycle day ?
Mc = miscarriage
Mmc = missed miscarriage
Opks = ovulation prediction kits

Yes, those two weeks are the worst! Symptom spotting and general restlessness take over.

Sorry I'm hijacking this thread but what's a missed miscarriage? I clearly have a lot to learn!!

ellie a missed miscarriage, also known as a silent miscarriage, is when the baby stops growing but there's no cramps, bleeding and your body doesn't expel the baby as it would with a miscarriage. In my case, we saw a baby and heartbeat at 7.5 weeks. Fast forward to 10.5 weeks and started to get brown spotting. Had an ultrasound and it showed the baby died had died sometime after 8 weeks. I then had a procedure (under general anaesthetic) to remove the baby & sac.

Hoping on board. Still have one foot on January bus but so sure I'm not pregnant I thought why wait. 14dpo and another bfn plus all my AF signs so here I am.

Hello celen - sorry to see u here but lets hope this is a lucky month! I am seeing my gp this week as I just feel hormones all over the place since mc's. Not sure what they can offer but worth a shot. I have also booked appointment with acupuncturist next week and bought a new mattress for back problems following recommendations from ladies on 2ww bus!! Lol. Feel like a crazy woman but giving it everything I've got now.

Hey Lucinda, sorry to see you here but nice to see you too! I also feel my hormones are all over the place so have an appt with my gp in a few weeks, mcs have a lot to answer for Let me know how it and how the acupuncturist goes? I still need to book one of those.

Anyway celen, yep I'll let u know. Acupuncturist appt will be on cd 9 so hoping that's going to make a difference to this cycle if I can get enough in. I used to have acupuncture for my back years ago and it definitely helped for pain. Let's hope it helps fertility too!! Xx
