February bus - all aboard for bfps

There doesn't seem to be a February bus yet but that is where I need to be because of longish cycles.

i thought it was a fart yep, I tend to get ewcm 48 hrs before ovulation so u you could still be good for Saturday.

I am on 11dpo and which has sort of crept up on me - kinda nice! Going to start doing my opk's today. I've always had better results doing these with 1st wee of the day but read late morning/arvo is better?? Is that right??

Had acupuncture yesterday - very weird not sure I liked it, but she was very interesting and a lot of what she said made sense. Going to have weekly sessions for a month and see what happens.

lucinda I think the reason for not using FMU is it contains "yesterday's" hormones, if that makes sense, and you might miss the LH surge that's happening today?

I use the Internet cheapie opk's - the acupuncturist told me it might be an idea to get a digital ovulation kit (she did warn results may be unclear if I have PCOS but I'm pretty sure I just have PCO)

Just checked online and can see the clear blue one but can't see any way of buying more sticks....am I confused? Does anyone know how I can buy new sticks for it?

Well, after one day of EWCM I now have tacky CM, apparently the kind that's really anti-sperm so we missed the boat there.

And all the Tesco ovulation tests for the last nine days have been totally negative!

Lucinda I use the CB ones. The initial test pack comes with sticks, I generally just buy a new test whenever I run out of test sticks, as I only use a couple sticks each cycle. To be honest some months I go without sticks and just count my days as the OPKs and my counting app are always in sync

Just looked on boots, don't think you can get refills, only seem to do them (well on boots anyway) for the fertility monitor not the ovulation tests

Sorry ov looking a bit uncertain for u ithought hopefully the tests have been misleading and there is still a chance u ov'd this month! It's so confusing and disappointing when our bodies are hard to read! My oh is blissfully unaware of what we go through....

Just got Day 3 and Day 21 results back, all normal whoop whoop

Well my 21day bloods indicate that I have not ovulated, so have to wait on the referral to gynea to come through. Going to see if I can buy clomid online. My doc has recently retired and he used to prescribe those, the new doc who has taken over seems to be a bit of a jobsworths and won't. Very frustrated with this now.

Ack TinyPawz am sorry to hear that. Could you maybe change to a different doc who is a bit easier to work with?

Doc is still referring me to gynea so awaiting that letter to see what the next steps are (well after DH little test next week)

TinyPawz please be careful of where you go online for Clomid, there are a lot of dodgy websites about. Can you not see another doctor?

I've been looking into similar though and I believe the Oxford Pharmacy Online is fairly ok/reputable. Don't take my word for it though!

Lucinda the CB digitals are designed to be only used once as battery runs out. However I have been using them for 2 consecutive months myself and seem to work ok.

You can also buy sticks and digital thingies cheaper from eBay

Another doctor would be in worse position to help as I would be a new patient to them. The doctor I have at the minute is just being ridiculously difficult, she had my full notes: information in front of her but is refusing to refil the prescription.

Tiny that's disheartening, but honestly not all docs are like that. If you have a copy of your notes/info I would honestly take it to someone else. Say you've been trying for longer than you have if you need to put a rocket up them.

Cd15 today and strong pos opk this morning at last. Temp hasn't risen yet but hopefully today is the last day we need to DTD. 7 days on the trot and I'm feeling a bit like John Wayne, sorry tmi.

Lucinda I agree with giraffes 11amish to test is good. But if you think you may ovulate that day keep checking throughout, I had a negative at 3pm yesterday but a positive at 5.30pm so it can change quickly. Good luck!

I'm with you all in spirit. I've persuaded DH for number three but after two failed attempts at removing my mirena it's still bloody in there so highly unlikely to be conceiving any time soon.

I'm on the folic acid and doing some temping. Going to try and dtd a bit more often as my libido has been rubbish.

Not going to use opk I think (at least until mirena is out) hoping temps will show if I'm ovulating.

Last time I conceived really quickly just dtd every three days after AF, so not too worried about fertile windows. Didn't know with my first two about the immune system thing but it makes sense.

I'm cd13 and my CB is telling me that I'm in high fertility...but both DH & I are ill and tired so my plan this month will be to dtd on ov day and day after. Really can't be arsed with pressuring myself this month, especially as we've been ttc for so too bloody long!

I just text DP and told him we were dtd as soon as he walked through the door tomorrow and he said that this shouldn't be so stressful and the thing we're good at is making babies.

Damn, I need to stop being so honest with him about my fertile times and stuff. Admittedly I kept all that schtum the last two times.
