February bus - all aboard for bfps

There doesn't seem to be a February bus yet but that is where I need to be because of longish cycles.

I hadn't thought about carb loading him, like some kind of performing race horse haha. Tbh he started off incredibly apprehensive about this whole ttc lark, didn't take any of the 'his n hers' conception tablets I bought, was really hesitant and scared. I'm fairly sure we then had a chemical pg - and he's been completely different ever since. Much more supportive and keen and seems to genuinely want to knock me up now.

Ah lucinda you timed better than us! We did 4 days in a row but my surprise positve OPK caught me unawares so think it may have been all 1 day too early. I did read so where that sex before ovulation is more likely to result in pregnancy then sex after as it takes a while for the little swimmers to reach our tubes to meet the egg! That's what I'm hoping for anyway! Xx

Oh just seen your last posts I always try and encourage DH to eat bananas which are apparently good all round for both energy and the potassium is good for the swimmers. Plus a coffee to give them an extra boost xx

Yes I think DH has had a similar change in outlook sucha - he has been up for TTC but never really understood my obsessive cm tracking/opk-ing/symptom spotting/paranoia enthusiasm he was the eternal optimist, never feared miscarriage, thgt it wld happen really easy for us etc etc. but in a few weeks it will have been a year since we started trying and we have had 2 mc's along the way and now looks like I may have PSOS so I think he has really got serious this month 😂

Belle sounds like uve done alright I reckon, keeping everything crossed!! (And maybe a banana or two for DH) lets have some lovely BFP's on this thread!!

Let's hope we both have! The next 2 weeks is going to drag. A little scared to get my hopes too high but seeing that was my first ever positive I can't help but feel a little more optimistic. Got a nice relaxing spa weekend booked with a friend so going to try and forget about it for the next few days fat chance

5dpo today. Have had weird abdominal twinges yesterday (probably wind - I blame Pregnacare tablets) and leg cramps last night. Had a really high temp this morning (highest I can remember). I probably need to wait a few days before any of this is significant though!

It's nearly February so hopefully the BFPs will start to come in soon!

Although he did surprise me by deducing me last night after we got back really late from a cinema date night - he was saying how tired he was all evening so I was banking on a morning session. So I had to do an emergency bathroom trip for preseed, which leads me on to my question...

Who has used preseed and do you have any tips? It says to insert 15 mins to an hour before - last night it was about 5 mins before and felt very - ahem - wet!!!
Also, I'm not telling DH because I'm still trying to conceal the crazy. Bad idea, I know, but he's just not getting the urgency. Although I'm also starting to question the urgency. Which is good. Just want to feel like I'm giving it my best shot every month... Urgh m. The minefield that is TTC!!!

Hi everyone, CD28 today or poss 27 never sure! AF expected this weekend, can't actually believe I have held off testing this long. Celen I really thought we had dtd lots this cycle, it was hard work to do it 3 nights in a row and was every other night the week before ov but now worried it wasn't enough. Should have kept going for a few more days but really couldn't be bothered. nene I haven't used preseed but am considering it next cycle as well as temping. Am worried DH will be put off if he realises how crazy ttc is making me. I have started checking my cervix as well but don't really know if it means anything. Hate being in limbo, someone has to get a BFP soon.

Lol nene bless u for concealing the crazy. And god I HATE that 'it will happen when it happens' line. Gah!!! I gave up concealing the crazy - last month we had it out and i u leashed the truth about the TTC crazy. Thankfully he took it all seriously but I think I've turned him almost as crazy as me!! we have never used pressed tho, I did suggest it to him but he wasn't keen altho I think if we get another bfn maybe I might get some and keep a little secret from him next month 😜

Conceal the crazy. I love it.

I am a complete nightmare while ttc and pregnant. I worry about everything I do/eat etc. I turn very OCD and it drives DH mad.

I remember trying to conceal the crazy from DH during our first 2 dc. Then I decided it was too hard and now I just let it all out. He thinks I'm crazy but does all the weird things I need him to do.

Just changed my NN as I realised I had spelt it wrong. Oops..

lucinda seems to be a theme that chaps are a bit more on the optimistic side and girls often much more wary and worry about infertility etc. Sorry to hear about your mcs and hope pcos is not going to be the case.

That's interesting about DTD just before ov rather than after - can see the logic behind that. Me and DH had a good shag this avo hit that was more cod it's his birthday rather than me being fertile

I'm planning to seduce my DH later too As I'm 7dpo, it'll be for pleasure not business! We're also cracking open a bottle of champagne to celebrate him leaving his old job after 14 years - Bollinger no less

cd4 here and I've decided not to take epo this cycle just in case it brings forward ov again. Cant afford for that to happen since I'm praying for an ov on cd17 already!
