February bus - all aboard for bfps

There doesn't seem to be a February bus yet but that is where I need to be because of longish cycles.

Hi punky not getting on well with the opk's myself but as far as I gather, you get the LH surge 12-36 hrs before the egg is released. I think SMEP procedure is to dtd every other day throughout cycle, but every day for 3 days when u get the positive opk.

Hi everyone, just checking in. 7DPO (I think), AF due weekend bit iffy on date. Having lots of symptoms but could so easily be pms, feeling a bit down and am so tired all the time I just want to go to bed (not going to happen with 3dcs already). Boobs feel weird, sort of bloated and tingly and have a heavy feeling but not really cramping in my uterus. Also had cramp in my foot last night! Anyway lots of thread to catch up on fx for everyone this has been one loong month.

4dpo and not a lot to report. Would Sunday (9dpo) be too early to POAS!? We're moving house on Monday and not sure I can take both things on the same day,whatever the result!

Only 3dpo here, God the 2ww is so boring!!

Not feeling so optimistic today. 8DPO boobs not doing anything anymore, feel a lot more crampy today and have low backache, classic AF signs for me.
Really don't want to poas too early as so worried about having another mc but will need to know if I am going to be in with a chance next month aaah! Will wait until Saturday before testing but will only be 11DPO as ov was late again. Loving your enthusiasm tho Giraffes! Wish I could be a bit more upbeat about this, sick of feeling sorry for myself. No-one in RL knows and only a few friends know about mc and don't want to talk to me about it.
Brought a big piece of Brie and some wine last night for the weekend.

Bloody witch got me this morning, a day early. 27 day cycle gah!! Why is it for the last few months my cycle has never been less than 30 days, I plan to the exact day for dh to come home so the trip isn't wasted, and bloody mother nature decides to take the piss out me this month of all months!?!?

Now I'm seriously going to have to stress myself out and hopefully delay ovulation to the very least cd 16. He's home cd17. What do we think fellow crazy ttc'ers? Do-able?

Gosh weechops that's such a pain Have you googled if it's possible to delay ovulation? I've only ready how to bring it forward (I used to ov cd19/20 then my luteal phase tended to be on the short side ).

Not got any brie but got some halloumi in the fridge, and can't stop thinking about it now....

Weechops sorry AF came early. I'm not sure how you would go about delaying ovulation. Maybe google will know?

I'm on cycle day 8. I think will try to DTD as much as possible for about the next week and cross my fingers! x

Sorry for af weechops.i feel your pain abt af showing early.my cycle is usually 27-28 days but ttc has messed it up.last cycles were 25,19,23 20.

Hi everyone. So this is our first month ttc, currently CD 21. I have been doing opks since CD 8, sometimes 3 times a day and so far all have been neg. is it really that easy to miss the window or have I just not ovulated yet. I'm using the one step ones from Amazon with the odd CB one as well. The reason I'm asking is because I'm not sure whether we can stop dtd... Not that I'm complaining but you know what I mean. FX for everyone. xx

nymnym I am not having much luck with the opk's either want to throw the bloody things out the window as only getting negs. Have been temping and checking cervical mucus along side it and actually think I haven't ovulated this month but holding on to a bit of hope and dtd like rabbits have u been tracking cervical mucus or temping? I'm about ready to give up though as it is stressing me out more than helping I think! Next month going to try and chill out and just go with the flow....ha!! Now that just made me laugh!! If only...

Nym, maybe try temping along with the opks then you'll see when ovulation has happened even if you miss it on the sticks?

Thanks English and Lucinda I will try temping and checking cervical mucus next time. As it is my first month all I have to go buy at the mo is what Ovia tells me which is a little vague.

I got a lovely temp spike on my chart, so I am heaving a sigh of relief, getting a good night's sleep and gearing up for some serious symptom spotting in a few days time!

Oh my god. Kill me now. Ordered some preseed and had it delivered to work as no one at home to take parcels. We have a temp in the office who OPENED THE PARCEL.

I could DIE of embarrassment. I asked our actual admin lady if she'd seen what was inside and she said no, the temp had just said "ooh I think this is personal!" And wrapped it back up.
