I have browned mince beef, breaded aubergine and jalapeño pepper slices. It's ridiculously good. Kind of like chili on a pizza. Clears the sinuses out, and you can't help but hum "ring of fire" when you eat it! Xmas Grin Xmas Wink Not sure if it's good to eat when it's potentially implanting a 9 month tenant but it's so yummy!!!!!

That pizza does sound painful!!!

Report
Snowdog37 · 24/12/2015 00:39

It's a good pain though Smile the fresh jalapeños aren't too spicy and with the aubergine and minced beef and melty cheese it's just scrummy. Probably a good one to eat when evicting the tenant rather than moving them in though.

Forgot to say bunch pink and runner how are our baby mama's feeling?

Aubergine doesn't agree with me, it's on the persona non grata list in our house, same goes for any vegetarian meat substitute ever since "tofu-gate".

And I'm ever so slightly allergic to chillies, which vexes me, as I enjoy them. But one snifter and I look like I've snogged a hoover on full suction. I channel a kardashian sister after lip fillers and my tongue swells up so I develop a temporary speech impediment So basically I become a trout with flatulence.

Wow, this thread filled up fast!
I'm 27, first cycle of trying, incredibly hormonal and impatient.
Threw a wobbler this morning upon discovering AF this morning (I'm about 12DPO) but it quickly disappeared and left me in a bit of limbo all day. Tests are all BFN so guess I'll just wait til it's actually due on Sunday.
Been pretty ill for the past 2 weeks with upset tummy and puking. Also can't seem to even see a child on tv let alone in person without tearing up- not because I'm actually upset (it seems to just be a reflex) but absolutely mortifying nonetheless!

Does your dog have a case of the fluffs? My dogs are tiny but are capable of emptying a room with their bum chuckles they take after me in that respect I've spent hours wandering our house sniffing accusingly looking for a stray poo nugget only for the dog to follow me and audibly let one go!

Kat I get it from around cycle day 6 pretty much as soon as my period stops! Then I ovulate around 5 days later according to my cycle this time.

Could be Starky. She usually looks guilty if she lets one go. I think she's learning to cover up now by being all perky and "who me??"

I tried blaming one of mine on the dog early on when I got together with dh. It was one of those mortifying ones where you've been together a few days so haven't been able to fart, we'd had curry, and I bent over and the air was forced out! He's used to it now, sometimes ill pretend to be gentile and ladylike and exclaim "Oh! That was a loud mouse!"

this entire thread has been about farts so far, we are grown women, I'm so happy, I have found my people

Mili, 25.

Cycle #1, running a 43 day cycle after 10 years on the pill, came off in May but still all over the place. CD 37, will POAS in 4 days. First time! I have zero symptoms though so not holding out any hope.

Currently away on a skiing holiday with DH for xmas, have ordered an obscene amount of sticks (both ovulation and pregnancy kind), and a baso thermometer for when I get home. I had no idea that TTC was this technical!

Bubbles, I also feel totally cheated. Why did I worry so much about accidental pregnancy as a teenager?!

Thanks bubbles. I thought that was the case, but there was always a niggle.
I've had 6 hours sleep, so I'm raring to go. which is just as well considering I've not wrapped anything yet
Welcome all you lovely newbies!
Ladies I've decided that farting cannot be a sign of conception for me, as I'm still trumping like a trooper. Bloat has all gone now though, which is lovely! We don't have dogs, but do have reptiles. They stink when they've pooped. So we can't blame the animals. My husband is fabulous, but a tad gentile, he would be horrified if I let rip in front of him.

Haha that made me smile, guess I'm spoilt in the sleep department normally. It's bloody annoying though waking up and I tell myself not to go on my phone but I cave in with boredom every time.
Anyway, are you all sorted for Xmas? I'm sitting here thinking if I've forgotten anything that I need to run to asda for and wait in mile long ques X

Anyone use/d fertility friends as opposed to ovia?

Report
IndiX · 24/12/2015 06:09

Yeah I'm basically organised, going to a friends on Christmas Day so don't need to worry about cooking. I'm hosting a party this evening for some friends and neighbours you know when you think why did I suggest this?! So I'm now lying here thinking of what needs to be tidied, cooked and bought. My husband has just rolled over asked if I'm ok then instantly fallen back asleep I'm so jealous I want to strangle him.
What is fertility friends? Would you say it's better than ovia? X
