indi try to keep calm (what a ridiculous thing to say)

Whathe will be will be and worrying about it now won't change tomorrow's result. So try to relax and meet tomorrow when it comes ❤ .... whilst going out of your mind which we would all do so ignore me hahaha

leoniethelioness · 02/01/2016 20:56

Starky - my grandmother had a sister called Ruth. I think it's a nice name. I also like Naomi. DH seemed to like Naomi as well.

leoniethelioness · 02/01/2016 20:57

Miley - my cousin has a baby Mylo (like the Coldplay album).

IndiX · 02/01/2016 20:59

Haha thanks choc I'm currently watching take me out in bed, tbh your username is making me crave some chocolate now haha. DH is away tonight so at least I have the whole bed to myself to starfish/wriggle/toss and turn all night

IndiX · 02/01/2016 20:59

Loving these names too everyone!

Chocaholic88 · 02/01/2016 21:00

Haha indi stuff yourself with chocolate and starfish away! 😁😁

Mileymoocow · 02/01/2016 21:00

It's a very cute name, I love it.

There are loads of names I love but some of them belong to people I'm not too fond of and it puts me off!

leoniethelioness · 02/01/2016 21:03

I know what you mean, Miley. I managed to name my cat (Tessa) so I'm sure I'll manage naming a baby one day!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/01/2016 21:11

pink Delilah is such an epic name! Dh says absolutely not they're from the same Welsh valley but every time he says "no, not Delilah" I get to say " but why....why, whhhyyyy?!" So I can kind of see his point!

I'm kind of an odd one if yiu hadn't guessed by now Grin so an odd-ish name for my spawn seems only fair! But thanks guys! I keep a list on my phone and when I come across a word/name I like I pop it in to the list, and then occasionally look back over it, if I still like the name, they can stay!

Ceridwen ..Basically it's like Sheridan but with a K sound at the beginning.

I love Alethea leonie but it's got bad meaning attached in Greek mythology. alethea austin is one of my favourite pole dancers though

leonie by that logic maybe I shouldn't name any child. My cats are called Sherlock and Watson. Watson does have a dandy 'tache though

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/01/2016 21:23

I've got a Rampage Jackson, and I thought that was quite good for me! He's got quite a normal name when compared to some of the other pets!

Currently sat scoffing some amazing cocktail flavoured hand dusted truffle things from Xmas... they are improving my mood rapidly 😂😂😁😁

Mileymoocow · 02/01/2016 21:53

quickly googles rampage Jackson

Holy shit. Is he a rottweiler?

Mileymoocow · 02/01/2016 21:53

Enjoy Choc

Sometimes that's all it takes Wink

Chocaholic88 · 02/01/2016 22:03

Thanks miley ... feeling sick now and nothing to do with the nausea I've had on and off all day 😂😂

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/01/2016 22:27

He's a chihuahua miley but he was the opposite of the runt of the litter, he was the giant, and because everyone at the time wanted tinkly spindle pups, he was last, I wasn't even in the market for a dog, but I couldn't leave him behind! And now I have three chihuahuas! But Ramps is my dad's boy, so he lives with my dps now where he is thoroughly spoilt!

BunchOfBobs · 02/01/2016 22:50

Starky. Delilah is one of our shortlisted girls names too. Along with Nell, Orla, Beatrix and Wren. Boys are Lachlan (pron. Lochlan), Harris and Hamish. Faveorites are chosen but I'm feeling all protective over them Hmm

StarkyTheDirewolf · 02/01/2016 22:58

Good luck for tomorrow indi - fingers crossed!!!

Chocaholic88 · 02/01/2016 23:01

It absolutely gutted me. Worst part is he'd been with me through all the crap with my ex too. Plus it was awful because he was actually at one of my best friends house whose husband let him out by accident :( they haven't forgiven themselves but I can't blame them. It was just shitty luck :( poor little guy was knocked out by the impact so never felt any pain thank God. Miss his crazy ass but glad he didn't suffer ❤❤ (sorry for the emotional outburst ladies!)

KatOnATinRo0f · 03/01/2016 00:00

I've already said before I'm not fussed on the names I have to give my kids. My husband is greek so the names have to be after his parents. I dream of all the wonderful names I could use (eg Athina, Persephone... Any reason you have so many greek names on your list??) and also I love andromeda and pandora for girls, Apollo or Leonidas for boys. There are so many I love I could hardly choose so maybe it's for the best!!

Pre-greek-husband I loved Sebastian for a boy x

StarkyTheDirewolf · 03/01/2016 00:14

I studied Greek/Roman mythology/politics and Latin for years at secondary and a-level. But it's always been something I've loved.

I love Leonides and Astyonax vetoed by dh for sounding like cleaning product apparently! And probably not appropriate due to the story. I know an Apollo and would totally use Orion or Andromache but they wouldn't necessarily work with our surname.

I can get away with using Welsh names, but because of where we live, they'd have to be anglicised bastardised probably with tweaked spellings otherwise the poor kid would spend years correcting people!
