We're on the 4th thread! Oh come all ye symptom spotters! And a fertile new year!

Happy new year!

Hoping 2016 is our year! An old school friend just announced her pregnancy on Facebook and am feeling pangs of jealousy. We've only just started our second month of trying though so there's plenty of reasons to be optimistic still!

HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! May it be a wonderful 12 months full of baby dust, bfp's, happiness, joy and laughter! Raising my glass of pink lemonade to all of us! May all your hopes and dreams come true!

Three things I'm thankful for in 2015 :

Getting married to my wonderful Dh, who puts up with all my weirdness, shit, temper tantrums and farting...and loves me anyway.

My wonderful sister, who never fails to make me laugh, whether it be at her, or with her.

My dogs, who are as barking as me!

I've just done a test and got a BFN :( ovia still says 2 days until I should test and my AF is due in 5 days but I should be about 11/12dpo now. Also I had a few maybe more than a few drinks last night, would that affect the hcg levels in my wee?
Lying in bed trying to get back to sleep but feeling a bit deflated

Indi don't worry, if you're only 11 to 12dpo then you still have a couple of days before a BFN is 100% (I had blank tests until 13dpo I think)

Well I'm out now as surprise surprise AF arrived early this morning for me as well. I have no idea what's happened to my hormones then, totally out of whack

Thanks runner that makes me feel a bit better, I'm going to wait a few days now to test again. I can't stand that disappointed feeling when it's a BFN. Anyway it's my first cycle TTC so I guess I would be very lucky to conceive this month anyway.
Anyone else due to test?

Happy new year everyone! DH did a u-turn on the planned quiet night in and we ended out going out for a curry! Anyway it was good for my blocked sinuses.

She got me this morning after some spotting that came and went in the afternoon getting my hopes up should have known better after BFNs yesterday! 3/4 days late! Going to be so confused about when to test this month.

Leonie totally get the envy! It is hard when you so want to be the one who is pregnant.

I am definitely going to try and get to know my cycle this month and buy some OPKs. Decided also I will try to sort my diet out, get more exercise etc, think I will feel more positive if I am a bit healthier!

Sorry about the bfn and afs guys.
I think I'm now in the tww - I think I ovulated earlier than ovia predicted but I'm not using opks so we'll see. The funny thing is we were going to take it easy this month as I start a new job in a few weeks but the early ovulation took me by surprise so had not been careful at all!! Time to start symptom spotting!

Just did an OPK (for fun, as you do) and it's got a very faint line. I'm on CD8 and wasn't due to ovulate til next week. Last month I ovulated on CD14/15.
Is this too early? Maybe I'm imagining the line or its caused by something else? We DTD twice yesterday and then again this morning (making the most of drunk sex before it was down to business again lol) and I've given up alcohol again from today. Is it game on or do you think it's too early?

I'm not as knowledgeable as the others but I think that maybe a little too early. I think the line needs to be as dark as the control line (but I'm sure someone else will jump in and tell you straight!)

The line needs to be as darker or darker. Ignore anything else. Levels of LH fluctuate and you will sometimes get a bit of a line

That's a negative jam both lines need to be about equal. But it's a good thing because it means you know where you're up to. Maybe mark it with a dot and then keep it so you can chart your progression, I found it slightly easier to keep track that way. But then I've got a weird cycle with lh surges left right and centre!

Ah ok, I thought it was strange! I have EWCM but I normally get it for about 10 days straight and I'm only at the beginning of it this cycle. Makes it pretty much a shot in the dark (excuse the pun) without OPKs. I'll keep testing but I guess I'm probably still on track for next week as Ovia predicted :)
