Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

pirsy I inow exactly what you mean - I've been so close to just trying to ignore TTC and see what happens but I know too much now, you can't not think about it! Before TTC I never knew what my CM meant, even if I stopped with app and country my days I'd still know when I should be DTD because of the pant snot!!

Feefeefs · 03/01/2016 20:41

How is everyone getting along? Getting impatient with AF!

neetie1 · 03/01/2016 21:26

In middle of fertile week, doing well with DTD so far but back to school tomorrow so will get tricky. I get up at 6.10 and DH is still sleeping so no chance then and he goes to bed quite early so may have to grab him lol when he gets in from work. OV day is supposedly weds or thurs I think.

MummyBex1985 · 03/01/2016 21:30

Thank you Flowers lovely to see you all again and to catch up!

I'm on CD25 now - bizarre how quickly it goes when you don't think about it! Usually I'd be POAS twice a day by now! Off for some vitamins tomorrow and back to the regimented schedule in three weeks I guess Grin

Feefeefs · 03/01/2016 21:48

Good work neetie ha ha. DH will be on night shift come January very hard to co-ordinate DTD! Determined tho! Nice to meet you mummybex hope it your time

PrtyPsn · 03/01/2016 22:03

AF just about buggering off, roughy 2 weeks from OV date so not much happening here though still can't stop poking my boobs to check for soreness - it's become a bad habit!!

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 04/01/2016 09:36

Prty I'm same as you ... AF just about gone! Think we will get back on our EOD schedule on Thursday.

Had a 13 hour shift at work yesterday - was stressful and didn't really sleep last night because of worrying etc - that cannot be helping me with TTC!

Fee and Neetie think you just have to grab then when you can. When my husband was on nights I just made sure we DTD when I came home before he went off to work - it was extremely mechanical though!

MrsFlowers82 · 04/01/2016 11:41

Hi all. Good thing I have promised to be more relaxed this year... First signs of EWCM today but hubby went down with flu yesterday. Not even man flu but actual full-blown, fever and sweats, I slept in the spare room last night to avoid contamination, flu. Will see how it goes over the next few days...

MrsFlowers82 · 04/01/2016 11:42

P.S. I also have a night worker and second what Pirsy says, you just have to do it when you can!

Feefeefs · 05/01/2016 13:23

We'll just have to make time for it! Not too much of a hardship!

glitterpoppy · 05/01/2016 19:56

Hi all, happy new year to you all.. Sorry I've been a little bit absent!

Glad to hear from you flowers was thinking of you over Christmas.

My stats are:
Name: glitter
TTC: #1
Cycle: hard to say, crazy cycles.. Been trying since last April but annoyingly long cycles. Last one was CD112 and this one I'm on CD102 and no AF yet.
Age:30

I have had to flashy smiley face for the last 4 days on my clear-blue digital so hoping I'll peak asap! We've been DTD everyday to FX.

MrsKittenPie · 05/01/2016 19:57

Evening everyone. How are you all? I've been in a right grump the last couple of days being back to work after a lovely Xmas - reality is rubbish after being off work for Xmas! I'm sure I'll settle back soon.
So anyone due to test soon? Think we're ready for another bfp here Grin

glitterpoppy · 05/01/2016 19:57

Meant to say *so FX

MrsKittenPie · 05/01/2016 19:58

Fx then glitter - how annoying with your long cycles - hope you get that peak smiley very soon!

glitterpoppy · 05/01/2016 20:30

Thanks kitten, I've got suspected PCOS and im currently waiting for an appointment with the gynaecologist to come through.. I'm keeping positive this year. Once that comes through they will be able to reduce my cycles I'm sure!!

MrsKittenPie · 05/01/2016 21:20

glitter - that's good that you've got a plan, I'm so pleased for you, yes hopefully they'll sort your cycles out quickly. Positive thoughts are really good too Smile

neetie1 · 06/01/2016 07:48

Well I think that I may as well write off this month.. DH was very willing over weekend but as soon as we go back to work its I don't feel that good etc. Saying that temps are still quite low and no positive opk yet , supposed to be today so not sure what's going on Sad

Feefeefs · 06/01/2016 09:50

January is a miserable month! I worked over Christmas and New Years and took this week off just to try and minimise January blues!

MrsFlowers82 · 06/01/2016 14:21

First week back at work made even more hideous...Baby bombed Sad

PrtyPsn · 06/01/2016 17:45

Oh flowers feeling your pain - baby bombed at work today too. Plus it's been a hidden one which people seem to get even more excited about :/

OP posts:
Feefeefs · 06/01/2016 18:20

Oh god I didn't even think about the possibility! However before Christmas break there were 4 of them who were pregnant/recently had a baby who spoke about 12+ of trying to get back to normality following the pill and trying to get pregnant I had no idea about any of them and all healthy and happy

neetie1 · 06/01/2016 18:24

Oh poor flowers only good thing about so many pregnancies at work hardly anyone likely to baby bomb. DH has had his form for his sperm sample through and he can do a sample at home and take in which is good. Just hope we get another chance to DTD this week and he doesn't get all oh I feel ill again..... Still no sign of OV but have had cramps since last period and tightness all the way through. Did a cheapie test but of course BFN very odd body I have.

Pirsy1 · 06/01/2016 19:17

Sorry for those who have been babybombed! Even though I try to tell myself I'm ok about our TTC journey it still feels bad when someone announces a pregnancy on Facebook (I need to deactivate it again!)

Poppy I'm glad you have a plan. There is lots they can do for PCOS.

Neetie maybe you should step it down to EOD? I know my husband struggled with every day.

My DH has said he will go to GP tomorrow to arrange SA.

MrsFlowers82 · 06/01/2016 19:54

Baby bomb was my best work mate. She knows I am TTC and to be fair hers is really well deserved, she had PCOS and (maybe this will give you hope Glitter and anyone else with PCOS) had really crazy cycles. She had been for all tests and was due to start Clomid at the end of this month. She is totally shocked. I am delighted for her but (and I will only tell you guys this) utterly jealous and heartbroken. We always have lunch together, etc so I am set to hear all about it. She is already twelve weeks, scan next week and told our boss, already talking may leave etc... Trying to be excited and not let it get to me...but it's hard...I know she will not hate me if I tell her how I feel, but she is so happy, I don't want to rain on her parade...Sad

Good news is me and OH have done the DTD everyday for the past three! Flu and night shifts aside! Have decided that is my new plan of action, get rid of apps, counting days etc and just DTD every other day. Agree with Pirsy, every day is to much for us!

Hope you're ok Prty.

Crossing all for strong swimmers Neetie and Pirsy

MrsKittenPie · 06/01/2016 20:10

Sorry to hear of all the baby bombs, they really are the worst Sad
mrsflowers - I know it's exciting for your friend but I'd feel exactly the same as you. I'm feeling so bitter and jealous now about anyone who baby bombs me too and it's horrible to feel like that but just can't help it. I'm waiting for one of my male friends from work to produce a scan pic for his and wife's second baby and I feel sick at the thought of how I'm going to cope with it. I've started avoiding him which is stupid because of course as soon as they are ready to announce he'll find me. It's so unfair.
pirsy - definitely deactivate fb - I've never been on it but hear horror stories of announcements all the time
neetie - good news about dh's sperm sample - at home will be a lot easier!
