Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Sorry about all the baby bombs Sad flowers I understand what you mean and that must be incredibly difficult for you. It's so hard isn't it?
2 of my colleagues have just come back from maternity leave this past week and all I'm hearing about is what each child is doing now and how cute they are. I'm happy for them but it gets s little bit much at times as that's all they want to talk about.

I've still got the flashing face on my clear blue digital.. It's been flashing since Saturday now, we've DTD everyday since then!

pirsy I know what you mean.. I'd definitely give Facebook a miss for a while. I've thought about doing that afew times myself!

MrsFlowers82 · 07/01/2016 10:03

Hi Glitter - yes, I HATE it when the whole office seems to be deep in baby/maternity/children talk. Actually makes me want to scream. I hope your colleague doesn't corner you for too long if he finds you Kitten, it really is tough and I am with you on the fact its bloody unfair. I can see how happy my colleague is and it is actually heartbreaking... She has asked if we can go out for lunch today as well and I can't really decline...Feeling very wobbly right now....It's going to be a long six months until she goes on mat leave day... Sad

Pirsy1 · 07/01/2016 14:00

I think its harder when its someone you like who drops the babybomb because it makes you feel bad that you feel jealous! Ill be honest and say that I really struggle to feel happy for other people anymore.

So my DH isnt going to do his SA. He is worried that subconsciously he thinks we wont be good parents and thats why he's been avoiding it. He wants to put things on hold for a few weeks / months. I am upset but think I need a break from TTC. Its taken over my life and Im becoming a bit of an anxious wreck. I think the stress might even be stopping me getting pregnant, so Im going to try and focus on other things for a while before I have some sort of breakdown. Work is also hectic at the moment which is exxhausting me. Im going to leave the group for a while. I hope you all get BFPs soon. Xxxx

Feefeefs · 07/01/2016 14:35

Sorry to hear that pirsy but maybe a break will help.
I think it's normal to worry about whether or not you'll be good parents. Maybe less stress on you both will help to put both your minds at ease

MrsFlowers82 · 07/01/2016 14:48

Really sorry to hear that Pirsy but I totally agree the stress and all consuming nature of TTC doesn't help the chance of a BFP. Only earlier this week I promised to let it go and now because of this colleague, its all I can think about! I really hope you are able to enjoy your time out. You know where we are if you need us. Take care of yourself lovely, we will miss you xxx

neetie1 · 07/01/2016 17:41

Hope to see you soon Pirsy.

Well I finally got a positive opk on the cheapie one that came with the Preseed and interestingly I didn't get a positive this morning so must have been sometime today. DH decided to wake me in the night so as it turns out it was perfect timing.
Body is still being very weird, backaches, heavy bloating, slight cramping very odd no idea what is going on.

PrtyPsn · 07/01/2016 18:36

Sorry to hear that pirsy but glad you could talk about it and work out the best choices for both of you x

Sorry to hear that pirsy but I fully understand what you mean. I hope you'll come back and visit us.

How did your lunch go flowers ?

Ah fingers crossed for you neetie least you had DTD!

Still got another flashing smily face on the CB OBK, How long does it usually flash for? Starting to worry it won't peak now as its been too long! Aghhh why is my body so awkward....

neetie1 · 08/01/2016 07:39

Well totally confused now. Did clear blue digital ov kit just to confirm the cheapie one from yesterday and it was clear circle. No idea if I have ovulated or not. Still crampy and backache and very bloated :(

Feefeefs · 08/01/2016 12:23

Sorry neetie I haven't used these yet not really sure. Hopefully someone will know.

MrsFlowers82 · 08/01/2016 13:48

Hi all.

Neetie, Glitter, I am afraid I am like Feefs and have no idea! I have only used OPKs a couple of times and never CB. FX you have both done enough this month and it won't matter anyway!

I am in HELL. Work has turned into regular updates on morning sickness, telling family members and general-"Oh-my-God-I'm-pregnant-isn't-it-great?"-updates at every turn. I can't even make a cup of tea without an update on how sore her bazookas feel Angry Really thought she would be more sympathetic given that she knew I was TTC. When I finally get my BFP remind me to only share my joy with OH, family and other mums/mums to be.

glitterpoppy · 08/01/2016 14:56

Sorry neetie my CB OBK's are totally confusing me too!!

flowers that's sounds awful, how insensitive of your friend. I hope you are ok Chocolate Cake for you!!

neetie1 · 08/01/2016 15:33

No worries ladies...worst of it is the cramps etc have not stopped from when af was here , trousers wont do up properly very odd

MrsKittenPie · 08/01/2016 21:54

Sorry to see you go pirsy but totally get it, relax lots and it would be lovely if you check in here every so often to let us know how you're getting on.
neetie - was it the first time you'd used that particular clear blue stick? As they always show a blank circle on the first day as it needs to see what your normal hormone levels are before it can compare it.
mrsflowers - that must be utterly horrendous for you, I'd don't know how I'd cope with that. It's just so insensitive of her. You will get your bfp soon though - lots of Cake and Flowers for you.

neetie1 · 09/01/2016 07:38

No I have been using it all week its a new box of tests but in all the ones ove used it's been clear circle. .. still bloated cramps and backache though. Cheapie prev test say no tempted to do digital one but know I'll be really down if /when it says BfN. .. not due af till about 20th

MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 08:28

It's really odd neetie - I'm sure our bodies just like to confuse us when ttc. It's makes it so hard. Maybe give it a few more days then try another test - I know that's a lot easier said than done though

neetie1 · 09/01/2016 10:59

Good news though is am chatting more to my sister and we are talking more about me trying and her being preg so certainly very positive.

MrsFlowers82 · 09/01/2016 17:15

Ugh! Sorry it's all so confusing Neetie but great news about your sister Smile

MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 20:05

neetie that's good about talking to your sister. I've lost all rl support as it's been so long. At first I told a few close friends and family we were ttc but they've stopped asking now and presume we've given up I think. I'm quite a private person though and would not be able to explain how devastated I am every month when the bitch af arrives. Plus no one I know has had any fertility issues - pregnancy all over the place here - it would seem it's easy for everyone except me

PrtyPsn · 09/01/2016 21:18

So, how are all my January sober lovelies doing?
My fertile window is coming up this week so FXd for this cycle!!

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 21:26

prty - exciting - fingers crossed for you then. Being sober fine - luckily dh is working this weekend and next weekend so any temptation is not there! I'm cd22 today - so swinging between what if and no I can't possibly be. In any event I've stocked up for af arrival

PrtyPsn · 09/01/2016 21:31

Aww kitten not too much longer to wait, what's your test date?

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 09/01/2016 22:17

Well my cycles vary between 26 and 30 days and I've haven't temped this month no no idea if it will be a long cycle or not. Probably Wednesday but I usually get spotting before af so tend to know I'm out. I'm not excited - already looking ahead to what we can do next month. I think I've kind of given up if I'm honest. The good news is I'm less stressed than I have been in nearly a year as all the house renovations are done now so am focusing on enjoying life now Smile

neetie1 · 10/01/2016 11:09

Have decided next month to not use OV kit , I will still temp though, think I would feel odd doing nothing at all. Talking of temp that shot up from 36.0 yesterday to 36.9 today....

MrsKittenPie · 10/01/2016 11:31

That sounds like a big jump neetie - sounds like you've ovulated recently then - despite the frustrating opks?
