Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2480630-So-its-John-Wayne-vs-Les-Dawson-in-The-Great-British-Pee-Off-and-Prtys-judging-get-ready-to-be-basted-lovelies?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Ooo a new imaginary symptom - my stomach (below my belly button) feels sore in a muscular sense, like I've had a killer session at the gym the day before (I didn't... unless sitting at my desk scoffing crisps is a work out now...)

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 30/03/2016 22:13

Ooo that sounds interesting prty I'm keeping my FX for you!

DH dropped off his sperm sample at the hospital today!

PrtyPsn · 31/03/2016 06:59

Excellent glitter did they say hoe long results will take?

OP posts:
glitterpoppy · 31/03/2016 07:47

No they said they put the results with mine to discuss when we go back. Initially then said we'd be going back in 3 months so I'm expecting an appointment coming through for sometime in May. Feel like ages to wait though Confused

snowy1982 · 31/03/2016 07:59

My DH got his results the next day, he just rang the doctor and he gave them over the phone. We are still waiting on our referral letter to the clinic though, it was requested in December

Pirsy1 · 31/03/2016 10:03

It seems to be different everywhere for the sperm results. It takes 2 weeks where we are so DH should get his back tomorrow or early next week because of the Easter weekend. I think they just go back to the GP so he'll have to ring up to get them. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Then we can get referred. When I went to the GP back in October she said that waiting times weren't that long so hopefully that's still the case.

Prty I hope that's a new symptom that you can trademark!

glitterpoppy · 31/03/2016 19:48

They just told me to go back to discuss all the results in 3 months last time but I'm now wondering whether to ring and see if I can find anything out next week. POAS again today and still BFN.. No idea what's happening with my stupid body!!

snowy1982 · 31/03/2016 20:24

I'd give them a ring glitter but then I'm not the most patient person in the world Smile

glitterpoppy · 31/03/2016 20:38

Me either snowy.. I'm just winding myself up. It's annoying me that I don't know how my X-ray went that was done at the beginning of March. I think I'll definitely give them a ring next week!!

Pirsy1 · 31/03/2016 21:24

I'd ring up too. There's no harm. Even if they dont tell you anything about the results they might get on with sorting you out an appointment to discuss them.

PrtyPsn · 01/04/2016 07:02

I agree glitter definitely try calling xx
DBAFD 4, the muscular stomach pain has worn off now, had some very minor cramping yesterday. This morning it feels like AF is on her way...

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 01/04/2016 07:56

glitter - any news? Have you poas again? Definitely give them a ring.
prty - sorry it feels like af on it's way. That'll be me in a few days - I'm dreading that sinking feeling again.
Anyone else poas soon? This thread definitely needs a bfp soon

glitterpoppy · 01/04/2016 15:04

Still no AF, not POAS today kitten Was a BFN yesterday. I've not even got any tests left, don't know if I can bring myself to buy any either, it's just so upsetting. Sorry it feels AF is coming prty.

Pirsy1 · 01/04/2016 19:58

Prty tell your AF its not welcome! I hate that sinking feeling when you start feeling like its coming though.

Poppy I hope you get out of this limbo soon - not knowing where you are with cycles is very upsetting.

DH got his SA back today - normal! I am very happy for him. He isnt that excited! That leaves us with a few options: 1) There's no problem and we just need to give it a bit longer 2) I have a tubal problem 3) Its unexplained. Anyway am going to ring GP next week to arrange referral.

PrtyPsn · 02/04/2016 10:08

Good news on the results pirsy
More AF specific symptoms this morning, tempted to swan and put myself out of my misery :/

OP posts:
PrtyPsn · 02/04/2016 10:08

*swab

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 02/04/2016 11:41

glitter - have you tested again?
pirsy - good news on test result! It could just be you need to give it a bit longer. I've been reading up on ttc a long time and then it just happens sometimes, seems to be very random - like some couples taking 2 years plus for one child then about a month for their other child, I think there's so many things that affect whether you conceive or not in any given month. It's good news though for you, so fingers crossed Smile
prty - sorry to hear that. I would be tempted to also as there's nothing worse than the wondering what if - I'm still hoping for you though lovely

glitterpoppy · 02/04/2016 12:33

No not tested again kitten as ran out of tests and didn't know if I could take another BFN, just ordered some more so will test tomorrow if still no AF. I actually thought it would have shown up by now as had a strange stomach ache feeling last night aswell as the night before.

Sorry to hear prty I'd swab too!

Fab news about the SA pirsy

Pirsy1 · 02/04/2016 13:26

Yes kitten you're right - and this has given me a renewed sense of optimism so going to try and relax and keep going for it.

Prty I go for the 'deep wipe' and then closely inspect the paper for signs of pink / brown.

Poppy I hope if no BFP that your AF just hurries up so you can get on to another cycle.

PrtyPsn · 02/04/2016 14:12

pirsy the deep wipe is an excellent compromise!

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 02/04/2016 16:48

pirsy and prty - I go for the 'deep wipe' too! In the few days before af I lightly wipe then when I need to know one way or the other as I am driving myself mad I go for that! Tmi I know!

MrsKittenPie · 02/04/2016 16:49

glitter - keep us posted - no af is an excellent sign though Grin

MrsKittenPie · 02/04/2016 16:49

We need a new thread soon too ladies

MrsKittenPie · 02/04/2016 16:50

I think having Christmas in the title is past now and we need something else

MrsKittenPie · 02/04/2016 16:50

That's why I'm trying to use it all up Grin
