We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

It's been ages I know - I don't know why really. I just wanted to stop thinking about TTC for a while. So I've basically taken the month off. Been eating and drinking with abandon (as my butt can testify!), and we've only had sex twice! We were just so tired with all of the end of year work drinks and meals, then, as we were hosting Christmas, all of the Christmas prep. That makes me sound like a raging alcoholic, but I think I'm pretty restrained with y drinking on the whole - well compared to my other half and parents that it.
I have read everything through and caught up. Firstly, I wanted to say - if you are reading this kitten, I was so sorry to hear about your mum. That must be SO awful. Heartbreaking. I just can't imagine!! Love and hugs to you! And Flowers, I'm thinking of you too. I know just what you're going through. When mum had breast cancer it was all consuming! BUt somehow we all got through it. She got through it, and she's come out of it happy and healthy!
I'm so sorry to hear about all the AFs that have reared their ugly heads - especially for you prty, our queen bee! And to you Neetie! But we will all get our BFPs!!
Welcome all you newbies! I even see we've had a BFP from one newbie! Congrats pantz! I am an oldie here, but went off radar for the last month.
Nothing really to report with me. My AF is 4 days late. I've not done a test yet, as I'm sure it's just because I ovulated late. According to my ovulation calculation I should be due tomorrow, so if it's not come by then, then I will test.

Back from docs. Very helpful said no don't wait a year get things sorted asap. He is sorting fprms for DH sperm sample and my smear test is in half term ( 6 weeks time) , the main sticking point is I have to get a special blood test on day 19 and 21 of cycle and it has to be in the morning...cue big problem. I work half an hr away and being a teacher getting time off isn't going to be easy if not near blinkin impossible. So not sure how we are going to get round that may have to wait until next month and pray they have early appointments...never bloomin easy is it. Plus doc said don't go back and see him until I have had all tests done but getting the blood test done is going to be tricky. Still going in the right direction which is good.

Oh and Preseed is here just in time as af finishes today...

I am going to be hosting a family party tonight so before I start getting ready, I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. I think we have all had our fair share of crap in 2015 but I am truly optimistic that 2016 is better to us all. I hope you all have a great night whatever you are doing. As well as toasting my loved ones when the clock strikes midnight, I will also secretly be wishing for BFPs for us all xxxxx

Glad things went well at the docs, neetie. Having had multiple conversations with the lady in HR at our school, so long as you can provide evidence of an appointment: letter, text confirmation, appointment card etc, they can't deny you taking time off work for medical appointments, even as teaching staff. Obviously that would mean letting a member of management know that you're TTC, but it should ease the pressure.

Neetie glad your appointment went well- that outcome sounds much more positive As long as you can provide medical evidence you should be allowed time off for your blood tests. They have no right to ask you what it's for. If you don't want to tell them you're ttc & they push you just say you're having gynaecological tests. That should shut them up- particularly if it's a man asking

Happy New Year, my lovelies! 2016 is the year of Prty's Gang, it's gonna be non-stop BFPs!!

Happy New Year all. Off to a great start using Preseed for the first time DH loved it. Have decided not going to stress if I don't get my appointments until Easter hols, am hoping we will have our BFP by then anyway...onwards and upwards.

pantz also tried what you mentioned and DH stayed 'inside' for longer and it was really lovely. we'll gloss over me trying to get the Preseed into the applicator, took a while

Hi all! Happy New Year to you all!! I too wish us all a fertile 2016! I'm so frustrated because there's still no sign of my period, currently day 30, and am normally 25 (ish) day cycle! However, looking back at my cycles for the last few years, I have had the odd 30 or 29 day cycle, plus, we only had sex twice! But i can't help but think, what if... I know I should just do a test, but can't face the glaring white space of the BFN. Sigh! Thinkbi'll test this evening if no sign of AF today.

I'm going to try dry January- have basically eaten and drank what I wanted for the last couple of weeks and feel like a detox is needed.
Anyone any good at doing stats spreadsheets? Would be good to see when everyone's test dates will be - I would but I can't do it on my phone

Cycle: a bit difficult to say. No contraception for 17 cycles. But actually trying for 7-8 months maybe. I've been a bit on and off. Had some other cycles trying during the 17 cycles.
Test date: I had a BFN today at about 2pm. But no sign of AF today. Will test again tomorrow. Otherwise, my next test date will be around Jan 27th.

(haha! In typical style, my stats are overly long! )

Cycle: a bit difficult to say. Was on mini pill stopped November, period after that starting 1st December. Periods every 2 weeks on the minipill so difficult to work out cycles. Previously cycle was around 30-34 days.

Testing due today, AF due today no sign as yet. Very tender boobs and still creamy cm but bfn so far. Couldn't test today as at PIL, will test tomorrow if no AF
