So I had my coil out yesterday. Was completely fine and took less than a minute! No pain afterwards either.

Something has just dawned on me though...so OH and I last dtd on Saturday morning (when coil was in). That was day 3 of my fertile window according to Ovia and yesterday was day 5. Is there a chance that some of the sperm was still hanging around in there and could fertilise an egg if I ovulate now?? Assuming Ovia is right, when do you ovulate within the fertile window? I know the chances must be teeny but I'm kind of freaking out right now!

Any advice on when I should POAS? I don't know how long my cycles are.

Well I got another bfn on a Tesco digi today. They didn't have any Frer so I may order some to be delivered. No sign of af either sigh!

Please tell me if I'm being ridiculous but is there a very (very very) faint second line?

Okay, just read that there can be more than one line on a digi test but it doesn't mean anything!

I think I see it dub. Has all the blue dye 'evaporated' now?

That looks like a squinted to me ! Did you use fmu? More importantly is that within the time frame? Try an IC if you have one.

Oh if that's a cracked open digi I wouldn't be getting excited yet. There's a reason not to crack them open, they have different lines. My IC were more sensitive that my superdrugs own. And I've heard bad things about tesco own but I used their digi once I had my bfp. Do you have any others?

bunch I just did it now, held pee for 3.5 hours this afternoon. That pic was 5 mins after doing it.

Yeah I'm not hopeful about it as was a digi. I didn't break it open, it came with two test sticks that you eject after getting the result. Haven't got any more (apart from the other test stick in that one). Will order some frer! Don't fancy battling with Chrhistmas shoppers to get another today

I'm almost certain I can see it dub. But before we all get majorly majorly excited, is it a cracked digi as bunch says?

Dub - I'm with the others, I think i see something very faint but you need to test again.

In terms of drinking, I'm not a massive drinker anyway but I continued with some vino on a weekend whilst we were TTC. We aren't telling family before Christmas so I'm going to have to do some thinking about reasons for not drinking.....

Bubbles I got hammered a few days before my BFP, it doesn't seem to have done me any harm at that stage the blastocyst isn't being nourished by you so it should be fine.

Dub I definitely see a line but as others have said, lines on digi's mean nothing and as that is a blue ink test it won't be very sensitive. You're better off looking for a red ink one.

Right, I'm going to stop being a bit of a crazy person. I've ordered some ICs so will wait for them. In the meantime, if still no af by Christmas Eve will get a Frer.

Hi guys, my wee amazon ovulation sticks arrived today, should I be using fmu with them or any time pee?
Got my themometer too! Can't wait to become a POAS enthusiast haha!

Lan I did morning and afternoon with mine although the recommendation with opk's if afternoon for the best results.

My Amazon ic OPK and hpts arrived today too hurrah!!! I had a go with both just for practice at the collection and dipping process. I think it might take a bit of perfecting. (I got 50 of each so I can poas to my hearts content). Obv bfn on both as cd5 haha. DH wondered what was in my parcel as thought I had been buying myself Xmas presents. Then he sort of laughed and walked away when he saw what it was. He also said it was "bad luck" getting all this stuff, and we should just dtd and not bother with all this. Anyone heard this before?

I don't think it's bad luck. I think it's good to get to know your body, your cycle, in case there's anything wrong or you're ovulating at a completely different time than you thought. I like feeling some level of control or predictability by doing OPKs and temping etc. It's only my first cycle ttc and doing temps and OPKs alongside checking my cm and symptom spotting like a crazy person, but I'm hoping it'll pay off!

Lana I was told it's best to do OPKs in the afternoon as that's when LH is at its highest? I did after lunch daily then once it starts getting darker I do 7pm and 11pm too until I got a positive. Love having lots of ic's!

my pink CM from yesterday evening has become a very light brown CM. very minimal.
no idea still if it is just AF starting. all my periods have been slightly different since stopping the pill!
11 or 12 dpo today i think.
The next few days will be revealing!

runner it was BFN yesterday afternoon so waiting til thursday/friday to test agin if AF has not arrived. I have a feeling it will!

I can see a faint line but so hard to tell if an evap line or not.
This tww is taking Ssooo long and as it's my first month trying all I've had is a withdrawal bleed so AF could be due anytime or in two weeks and I've read some women take months to get AF after coming off the pill.
I think as I got a +OPK I should be due AF on the 28th roughly assuming I have a 28 day cycle which I don't know if I do.

Runner have you told anyone except OH that you're upduffed? So exciting.

I'm due to POAS over Xmas and I must contain myself if it says I'm upduffed....although that's wishful thinking as it's Cycle 1.

I just ordered a 50 pack of opks. Wahoooooooooo.

I was v against opks and temping initially....but I think I need to feel I have some control in this. Or else I shall drive myself potty! Don't see why it's bad luck, in fact better to be proactive and calm about it I would say!
