Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Thanks ladies, you're a good bunch.

Not going to test again until Saturday.

This TTC thing is a total head*$€%!

BlueGirl1982 · 14/12/2015 13:25

Shelb I'll be testing on Saturday too, although I think AF will show up before then anyway...think I have convinced myself now that any 'symptoms' are either just pill withdrawal or my body just doing its hormone thing to mess with me!

With the exception of the occasional boob twinge and a 'wet' feeling (sorry, tmi!) I think my symptoms have disappeared anyway :-/

Roll on next month now!!

purplesmiler · 14/12/2015 13:26

Hi all wow missed so much again after a hectic but nice weekend.

Shelb fingers crossed for you hun.

Well im on day 1 of my fertile week due to OV later in the week. Have to say had a super fun Sunday morning session think my OH may need a rest tonight lol but we will see.

Have a lovely day ladies.

Pinklily1 · 14/12/2015 13:35

Purple, I'm on day 2 of my fertile window apparently, with the spike of peak fertility expected on Wednesday.

Are you using Ovia and/or OPKs?

00Bubbles00 · 14/12/2015 13:51

Pink YES - SO awkward. Thought I'd be good and start taking pre-conception vitamins so ordered a pack from Amazon. Didn't really pay attention to (i) what the package looked like and (ii) the delivery date. Error. Was merrily chatting away to a colleague when postroom guy came round with a few package for me. I opened the first box (in my defence, a big box for a small pack of tablets!) and right in the middle, face up, nicely presented in all the packaging was a pack of tablets with PRE-CONCEPTIONS VITAMINS complete with FOLIC ACID written in pink writing right across them. Cue me fighting with reams of brown paper to try to close box whilst trying to keep talking and pretending I wasn't desperately trying to cover it back up....

Woo shiny new thread!
My stats again:

Aiming to TTC#1 starting in Jan - one of the few still holding out from the initial thread! Nearly there now...

Feeling very cheered by all the good news from this thread already! Fingers crossed for all of you testing over the next couple of weeks!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 14/12/2015 14:45

bubbles you just reminded me to get some folic acid Grin Dh has literally just gone to the doctors, as he was walking out the door I went "ooh, get me some folic acid from the chemist will you please?" He grins and goes "I know what that's for! Haha! You can't fool me!" I told him it's better to take it pre-conception as well as the first months as it helps! And off he went with a spring in his step! Slowly slowly catchy monkey and all that! Haha Xmas Grin

Blue I hear you re wet (ewwww) lots of watery cm which I've read is the lining of womb breaking down as progesterone decreases.....hope it's wrong info though! Do you have period pains or anything?

X

BlueGirl1982 · 14/12/2015 15:05

Shelb No period pains...did have them on Saturday but they've gone now. Have a feeling I'll be tormented till the end of the week, waste a test on Friday (party on Saturday do would need to know) then AF will show her nasty face!

Only remaining potential 'symptoms' are blocked nose and frequent dizzy spells (probably just a cold!) and unusually bumpy nipples!

Any more symptoms shelb runner, anyone else?

shelbTa · 14/12/2015 15:11

Not really blue. I feel pretty unupduffed today only symptoms:

Reasonable amount of this watery cm crap
Period pains / twanging above pubic bone
Feel bit sick every now and then
Burping
Reasonably strong line on opks

The only only thing that is giving me a blink of hope on the horizon is that up until ovulation (and previously when on the pill when I got to end of packet and had break) I had piercingly bad headaches that I had to take migraine meds for. I haven't had one since ovulation.....watch one come the second I hit send, bastards

Hi everyone, can I join your group?
I think I've read through most of the threads on the old link too.
Finally time for me to join I think :-)

stats
Age: 27
TTC: No.1
Was on microgyn30 which I took back to back so unless I missed a few pills I'd rarely have a withdrawal bleed. Been on it for about 18 months. Prior to that I had the Mirena Coil for around 8 years. From what I remember, I was fairly regular with my periods but I have no idea how long my cycle was so that will be a mystery whilst TTC.

Came of the pill on November 28th, 3/12/15 withdrawal bleed (normal) and since 6/12/15 (when I should have started my new pill packet) my OH and I have been DTD every day at least once a day.

Was thinking I'd do a HPT around 28th which would be 4 weeks from when I came off the pill if there's no sign of AF. First cycle will be a guess though.

Nice to see a few BTP already on this thread!

Cycle: been trying for many years.

I'm 5dpo and symptom spotting like crazy!

Runner05 · 14/12/2015 15:59

Hi Drink and Dream

Ok crazy woman warning. I just did another cheap pregnancy test because I was bored and I think I've got the same mark I thought I saw this morning. I think it's probably an indent/line eye but as I was asked for photos earlier I thought I'd post one anyway. It's nearly invisible!!!! it really is invisible I'm imagining it

Ttc#1 THREAD 3. Some bfp's, some bfn's, cervical mucus examination class of what was supposed to be January 2016.
Snowdog37 · 14/12/2015 16:07

I think I see something runner? But I've been looking at other peoples bfp pics for days and I have started seeing lines everywhere. Good luck though! Maybe tomorrow it'll be stronger? Good luck to Shelb too! And bluegirl! Lots of potentially amazing Christmas gifts coming up Xmas Smile

StarkyTheDirewolf · 14/12/2015 16:09

Welcome dream and drink

runner I think I see a veeeery faint second line! I don't know if my eyes are playing tricks on me though! Argh! You must be going spare! That would drive me insane! Exciting!

Got my folic acid! Xmas Grin

Snowdog37 · 14/12/2015 16:10

Pinklily we are on the same cycle! My peak is Wednesday too Xmas Grin let's hope one of us or even better both of us is lucky!

drinkyourmilk · 14/12/2015 16:17

I can definitely see something runner, I'd vote for another test tomorrow to see if it's darkened, can you see that indent/mark on a test that's not been used?

shelbTa · 14/12/2015 16:28

I think I can't see something runner!

What time did you do it?

Eeeekkkk!!!!!!!

Xxxx

Runner05 · 14/12/2015 16:43

Snow I know what you mean. First month I spent hours looking at other peoples tests.

Stark I'm remarkably calm about it really. I'm treating it as a BFN because I'm not sure if it's an indent or not and the strip is too shiny for me to work it out.

Drink no, I can't see the intent on any of the other tests but I can't really see it on this one either. I did the photo because I couldn't decide if I saw anything or not. It's actually clearer on the photo than I can see it in real life Confused

Shelb I took it just before I posted it but I hadn't drunk much in the preceding couple of hours.

I'm released I'm not the only one who can see it but I'm pretty sure it's going to turn out to be an indent line as I'm only 8 or 10 dpo so it's awfully early to see anything. Couldn't help posting though as I know how much we all like to ogle lines lol

DreamyDreamer · 14/12/2015 17:08

I have been trying out these OPKs (sainsburys) and because I've only been off the pill a couple of weeks and don't have a clue how long my cycle would normally be, I've just been taking a stab in the dark.
I got some pretty dark lines last week but obviously neg as it wasn't as strong as the control. I did one today (first morning wee because I can't no drink for 4 hours) and the line was very faint so not sure if I've ovulated and never tested at my surge or if I am still to ovulate. Who knows!

I'm trying to cover all bases by DTD every day just in case. I'm sure after month of trying (if it comes to that - hopefully not) the enthusiasm might wear thin! Hmm

I used to be a Midwife, you'd think that would perhaps make me more practical in this conception situation but nope, I still did a random HPT today "just in case"....just in case what I'm not sure as I've literally only been off the pill two weeks. Shock

I have quite a lot of cramping today, nothing major but dull and constant. Maybe AF is coming for a visit.

This forum is amazing. I don't want to tell anyone I'm TTC as it then put pressure on me but it's nice to be able to compare and share with others in the same PregoBoat Grin

FX for some BFP over Xmas

StarkyTheDirewolf · 14/12/2015 17:16

That's exactly how I feel dreamy I'm so excited to be starting ttc, but I know I'd better keep shtum about it until I've got my bfp and am at least a few weeks, I don't want to invite negative opinions iykwim.

I'd definetly do another test or 3 tomorrow runner well done for keeping a lid on it though, better to be cautiously negative I suppose.

I found a website the other day which was literally people posting their pregnancy test pics for the scrutiny of others! I'll see if I can find it and link it here!

I think I can see something Runner!

I have adjusted my withdrawal bleed info in Ovia and now it says test in 5 days argh! I am away this weekend so will probably just wait until (if?!) af makes an appearance and if not, test next week. Think I'm on about the same timescales as you Shelb!

Runner05 · 14/12/2015 17:22

Dreamy nice to know even a former midwife has to stab in the dark. My theory is just get loads of cheap tests /opk's from the Internet and test whenever you feel like it. I find it far less stressful than making myself wait... But then I am the founding member of pissy sticks anonymous Wink

Stark I'm sure I've trawled that website a couple of times. Is it laid out by dpo?
