Ttc#1 THREAD 3. Some bfp's, some bfn's, cervical mucus examination class of what was supposed to be January 2016.

Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Wow, so many messages to catch up on already!

Hope everyone is well. I have no symptoms of AF arriving thankfully as due Wednesday but do have slightly tender boobs (never have that) so am taking it as a symptom. Am holding out to do another test until Wednesday / Thursday if AF doesn't show.

Fx for all the possible BFPs already!

runner I'm positive I see something but I may have line eyes! All this squinting! I'm loving it save up your wee till the mornine and fx we will see two pino lines!

lana I feel your pain! Dh is a doorman so it's time of year is the busiest for him, so he's barely at home at the minute! Fx for your bfp!

bubba sounds positive though if you're having no af symptoms!

I'm super impatient for this weekend now! I just want to ovulate! I never thought I'd be so impatient! I'm usually quite good, but apparently ttc brings out the bonkers in me! I'm wishing my life away! And I've got loads to sort this week for Christmas and have got precisely bugger all done!

I'm currently sat here with my legs crossed. OH doesn't want to know about me testing until I get a positive so I usually test before he wakes up... Today he's decided to wake up early.

So, just snuck out to do the quickest test ever... A resounding BFN. Looks like yesterday's tests had indent lines as suspected. I'm not surprised at all.

I might buy some different strips as these ones are really thin and looking closely they haven't been cut well which could be the cause of the indents.

Anyway, only 9 or 11 dpo so still a few days for it to turn positive Smile

Aw runner I had my hopes up for you but keep us updated. Superdrug do cheap test that might be better than the ones you have. And if they aren't cut very well they could be duds. always looking for a positive explanation x

Ah bad luck runner but yeah like you say still early days.

And it's a BFN from me ladies too - obviously I've taken it to work with me so I can look at it later then crack it open and torture myself, but for now, it's a no.

Weird thing this morning though - toothpaste tasted AWFUL like really really bad. Odd.

I had a feeling mine would be false. And I'm holding onto the fact that if I don't get a BFP this month I get to drink at Christmas and new year.

I know I'm going to feel a bit deflated if it didn't work this month and I can see how ttc will get exhausting if it takes a few months. Nothing that I can do about it though so may as well try not to worry.

Yeah agree - when I got my fake line last night I had a panic - oh no I won't be able to enjoy Christmas and new year celebrations. At least if I am out this month, there is going to be some serious baileys drinking and merriment being had with friends and family!

Sorry it was BFNs Runner and Shelb...could still be too early though?

CD28 for me today...I'm determined to hold out until the end of the week to test, AF due anytime from tomorrow till Saturday, can't decide if I'm feeling AFish, think I might be :-/ Still got that really pleasant 'wet' feeling, which depending on what you read could be a good or bad thing...think I've decided I'm just going to stop reading for the foreseeable future!

How is everyone else doing?

Thanks blue. I'm CD28 today too (did we discuss that yesterday?!) and I'm 8-9dpo. According to ovia which is using my 28day pill cycle days, AF is due today. I also feel wet (vomit) like I I've come on but haven't.

Still no positive OPK from me. Now on CD 19 according to Ovia, I've become s bit obsessed with the OPK pissy sticks so will keep going. My two cycles off the pill have been 34 days and then 28 days so I suppose I've either missed ovulation or it hasn't happened yet.

Interested to read about you using the OPK sticks. I've just ordered some but am concerned I might get obsessed!! Part of me wonders whether I should just try to dtd regularly and not track at all. But I know myself and I can't help it!!

AF is due 29th Dec. The wait is going to be so long and I'll be worried about drinking over Xmas too :(

I was dreaming about POAS..... I'm going crazy now. I had all these tests and I'd cracked them out of the cases. Obv there was a BFP. I woke up like "hurrah!!!Grin...oh no waitEnvy" ... 5days to wait. Hmph.

Morning ladies!

Sorry about-the BFNs Runner and Shelb. Fingers crossed it was just too early.

Metallic taste in my mouth this morning...triggered thoughts that AF was actually implantation bleed! God this process is a killer!

OH volunteered to go get his swimmers checked (he cycles a lot so hopefully they aren't getting fried!) Nice to remember it takes two to tango so it's not just down to me to watch the alcohol consumption etc! Shame Xmas is in the middle of this cycle..neither of us will be going teetotal! Hopefully the break from work and distraction of Christmas will help to chill all our bodies (and minds!)

Bunch tmi mega warning but it's kind of yellowy and it has almost soaked a g string liner it's that bad (sorry ladies). My tits are killing. Not so many period like cramps today though.

Shelb I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the witch doesn't get you! But your symptoms do sound promising.

Pink sounds to me like you missed ovulation. What type of opk's are you using?

Kat I had a similar dream last night. Have to admit I'm a bit gutted now.

Lara I shouldn't worry about having one or two over Christmas. If you are upduffed the baby will still be a blastocyst so it won't hurt it.

Ni was there anything unusual about your period? Is it worth doing a cheap test just in case?

Feeling kinda pre-mental. Emotional, spotty, tired and grumpy. I think the witch may be closer than Ovia thinks!

Just tested an ovulation a stick (because I have a problem and can't stop myself peeing on sticks. I should possibly get therapy for it!) and there was a faint second line. Could mean anything so I don't know why I bothered but hey ho! Blush

Sorry to hear about the BFN runner and shelb. It's still not over though!

I had a tiny bleed in the night, just one wipe of dark brown blood. So now of course I'm obsessed. No idea how I got back to sleep! I'm only 6pdo, so I've still got another 8 days to tie myself up in knots.

Drink that sounds really positive!

Runner Ive googled It until my eyes bled but it's fairly 50/50. If the opk continues to get stronger it's likely a sign of BFP. Mine was pretty faded this morning.
