Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

Okp was very faint especially when compared with this afternoons, balls only knows, ill try and have another pop at dtd tomorrow morning if Dh agrees!

I've not told him about cm yet I will do at some point I imagine, on purpose, to gross him out! I have no test buddies! Waaaaaaaail! But then my cycle is suuuuch a long one, even if I ovulated today, I've got a 3 and a half weekweek wait instead of a 2 week wait.

Stark you still have a 2ww. The 2ww is to 14dpo when the chemicals in your body should be high enough for you to get a BFP If your still BFN by then it's very unlikely that you will get a BFP later (unless you were completely mistaken about your ovulation date)

pink I think it's something to do with the sensetivity, I'm going to do some research! See if I can find some with the same levels of sensetivity for cheaper!

However, still have absolutely zero clue about ovulation date! I'm going to have to order some more okps for next month! I've nearly blown through 20 already!

Yes so the more sensitive a test is the lower concentration of Chemical being tested for it can detect so technically the earlier it can detect, but also the greater chance of getting a false +ve (if I remember correctly). I think they all work though don't they (well every one I have ever p-on has correctly told me that I am NOT pg!)
I can't imagine that they are that much more ££ to produce and I think it is a ridiculous mark up. I think I shall save FR for when I really do actually think I am pg and may have had a +ve from another test (or a late AF)
I've used the sainsburys ones- didn't know if they had bad reviews ... Handy to pick em up with the weekly shopping though! I have some internet cheapies on the way mainly to indulge my increasing desire to needlessly pee on things.

Agree it is a ridiculous mark up Kat, I'm willing to bet they don't cost that much more. I will deffo buy some internet cheapy OPKs and pregnancy tests once I've given up hope for this cycle

It's been so interesting reading about your signs and symptoms and seeing the positive test appear! Took forever to catch up but worth it

My AF arrived 2 days late but new it was coming as all symptoms appeared. I have ordered a pregnancy kit from Amazon that has a bbt, 20 opk and 10 pg tests. I decided this month I am going to track my temp and use sticks from the day AF leaves to be able to track if I am ovulating.

The best pregnancy tests are FRER and Superdrug own but as long as it's red ink it should be fine. You're looking for the lowest mlu you can find, the packets usually state what mlu the tests are and if it doesn't it means it's high.
There isn't actually any such thing as a false positive but you can get evaporation lines if you crack a test open (because it then dries out too quickly and can cause a line to appear) or if the test is faulty in which case the line won't have any pigment. If in doubt re-test.

Oh and as for FRER being expensive. I don't know about their manufacturing costs but having done many many, many, many tests I do know that their test strip is different to the strips I've seen in any other test and they are well know for being the most reliable test on the market. If a FRER says your pregnant it is generally considered indisputably true. at least that's what I told my OH

Did a test, bfn! Urgghhhhh! So sure we did it at the right time and had a really good feeling about this month. Boobs less sore today and cramping like mad so guess af coming to town.

Trying to focus on the positives- I'm getting married next weekend for one! Spose at least I can have champagne on my wedding day.

I've got a thermometer and going to get some opks but think it will have go wait til the cycle after honeymoon cycle as too complicated otherwise.

What are our thoughts on shagging more then once daily? Are we damaging previously deposited sperm or will second showing have less swimmers?

canters that's so exciting!! You'll definitely want to have a glass on the big day! What are your honeymoon plans?

The recommendation is to dtd every other day for the best quality and quantity of sperm.

Tbh as several of us will attest, it only takes the once and a bit of luck.

To test or not to test.
First positive opk on wednesday 9th 9am. (Almost positive the evening before). Stayed positive until thursday 10th in the afternoon.

I am so impatient!

So ladies, I took another OPK this morning, and thought, why not, if I'm collecting wee I might as well do a pg test as well.... Tell me I'm not seeing things...?

Still no ovulation for me (according to temps and cm) I was on mycrogynin on CD21 my okp sticks are due to arrive today - may the obsessive peeing on sticks begin!

pink no way seeing things! That is a line!!!! Your opk sounds like it was positice the same day as me, but i haven't had any symptoms.
