Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

I think so Shelb. Still a bit unsure because of the OPK confusion and difference between apps but I had my strongest OPK on Wednesday 9 December so assuming that was ovulation this would be tww?

Why do they not teach you all this stuff in biology or sex ed, instead of the life spans of plants and all that jazz? Baby making would have been much more useful!!

Pink they sound like positive symptoms!!

I've got a few left but haven't done one since Thursday night. Might give it a go tonight but to be honest I am scared about the whole OPK thing because if it's faint I will worry it's a sign I'm not pg

I was frying to find some reading material to prove to Dh that I wasn't insane with the pillow under the bum thing, and apparently, all the stuff that Co es out afterwards is just the seminal fluid (dead sperm and juice blergh) , the actual sperm is already doing the journey. So don't worry too much! I was wondering how long to sit upside down etc, and for the most part, we could jump up and down on a trampoline after sex and I wouldn't make a difference to if the sperm and egg met! (I'll still be lying upside down though! Thus proving that ttc women are barking!)

I've got like, another million years to wait to test. Since ovia changed my stuff round, it's like the 12th of Jan now, not the 3rd! But this is since I've put in the 37 day average cycle (which I don't understand ) so we shall see!

pink they do sound like symptoms! If I had nausea I'd be hopeful because I never get nauseous. First time I've wished to feel sick over Christmas!

stark, I also read that position and raising your bum after make no difference, but it just kind seems to make sense (Re the mooncup ) that the jizz is better in than out😄 But I know common sense and science are not the same thing...

I don't get those from red wine or gin thank fuck! So was out and partying again all yesterday afternoon and night... yesterday was a pinot noir day.

Okp from an hour or so ago. Darkest one I've had (the strips I've got aren't much cop fairness, even the control lines haven't been particularly dark) but either way, it's the darkest I've had so far and we probably won't have a chance tomorrow, so I'm going to wake Dh up with a coffee, some toast and a demand to be fertilised!

lara in my mind, the logical, normal part of me knows that having my arse aimed up at a 45° angle after sex is unlikely to do anything other than be comfortable...the baby crazy part of me says "well, it can't hurt or hinder so pass me that pillow!"

starky glad I'm not the only one with my regular good sense, and then crazywomenwantstobepregnant sense! I make life so stressful and complicated for myself. But. Just. Can't. Stop.

drink never in a month of Sundays did I think I would be posting pictures of an ovulation test on the Internet to ask people if they thought the lines were dark enough! it's only been the last 12-18 months that getting pregnant has gone from being "a bad thing" to "a good and positive/sought after thing" in my circles!

I remember asking one of the girls I knew about her pregnancy a couple of years ago and her telling me she charted, and temp tested and okp's etc to get pregnant and me thinking "well, that's just bonkers! Why doesn't she just have sex?!" Oooooooh how little did I know!? All my good and logical sense has gone out the window and here I am scrutinising a weeks worth of things I've pissed on to see if I'm producing enough of a hormone to make conception a possibility! Madness I tells ya!

Starky - it is madness but at least we are all in in together . I've got the whole hog with two pillows under my bum after sex. Like you, I figure it can't do any harm, so if it has a chance of helping at all I'm all for it.

I'm feeling sick again now. Had a really dizzy/ shaky spell this morning but that's passed now.

Can I join? Came off the pill 4 weeks ago, no AF yet. Been temp charting and doesn't look like I have ovulated yet -but already taken two pregnancy tests- just ordered some okp strips off amazon.

Been checking my cm (gosh it feels weird to admit that) still stubbornly non fertile so excited for all your BFP!! My boobs hurt and I feel bloated so (like a loon) I am convinced I am pregnant despite negative tests and zero signs of ovulation on temping charts so am putting it down to my natural hormones kicking in.

Anyone taking folic acid?

Pink this is sounding promising! Do an opk - it won't be positive, but if you get a faint line you could be heading in the right BFP direction, I'd love it if it was! How many dpo do you think you might be? I know it's been hard for you to tell. Any burping?

Id say you are quite close with that one stark reckon later today or tomorrow! Get it on! I'm ok thanks, best way I can describe it is like have a permanent mediocre hangover - tired, nauseous, rocky blood sugar that can plummet at any time if you haven't eaten enough, and thirsty!!!

Shelb - I think I am about 10 - 11 dpo. I've been burping today, but only a little bit. More burping than normal but not an excessive amount if you see what I mean (never thought I would be discussing my burping habits on t'interweb!)

Starky - love your coffee, toast and "fertilise me" plan Fingers crossed it works!

Not yet. OH is very much of the view that I should wait until AF is late (so later this week). I don't want to poas yet as I wouldn't be able to keep the result to myself either way! Saving the wee up to do an opk later though!

PS Have you got your first doctor's appointment yet?

Ah I see, that's understandable. Excited for opk though! Yeah appointment next week! Also think we are going to go for a seven week scan, eeeelkkkkk!

Oooh, an early scan is exciting! Presumably you still then have a 12 week scan with the NHS hospital?

The only problem with the opk is I'm desperate for a wee now but its only been about 1.5 hours since I last went (shouldn't have had a cup of tea and half a pint of water - oops!) , so the chances of my holding it in until 4 hours have passed seem small!

Do an opk anyway. If their ic's then it's not the end of the world.

Welcome why I'm taking folic acid and just drinking more water about as healthy as it gets for me! but no other supplements yet! And using ovia and okp's, Which pill were you on? Using ovia and okp's have definitely been a help for me, gives me some idea of when to expect what, and it's full of handy little hints too!

I think you should do an okp pink are you suuuuuuure yiu don't want to poas? When are you due af? It's this week isn't it?

I'm resisting the urge to poas. AF is due around 25th based on the length of my last cycle. I might cave in the next few days but for now I'm resisting the urge (using willpower that i don't really have).

starky a year or so ago I ended up posting a picture of my CM on the Internet . That's when my DH held an intervention.

shelb you are describing exactly how I feel. I'm fine,then crazy tired, nauseous on and off, scary stinky farts, bloating, cramps, and I could blow up a balloon on burps. I know I shouldn't get my hopes up (Dr's don't think I will get pg), but I can't help it!

And as for scans- my husband knows I'll want one a month. He has no choice!
