Join us. It's a boat. Full of okp's and symptom spotting and insanity! But also much love and support! We were supposed to start next month, we already have a few bfp's! Our dps don't know what's hit them!

(((Hugs)))) snow and starky TTC is such a mind fuck. There are days I wonder why we chart, take pills, cajole partners just to sit and cry when af gets us. Then I see a new mum, or someone in labour (work at a hospital) and become all determined again.

Sorry kat I sound really harsh, I do apologise. I just can't be doing with stuff like that, I get irrationally angry about it. I'm projecting because of my experience with a controlling man, and I know that, just the word "forbid" makes my stomach go tight and weird! I'm sure your Dh is lovely, I just worry.

kat , I hate that sinking feeling with af. My DH knows about blastocyst stage, and that it's not really important to worry till the becomes along. If he tried to lay down the law I'd tell him to shove it. Yes we are both parents, but I'm the one going through pregnancy. My body,my choice.

I'm deaf on 23rd, so that's Wednesday. I've ended up testing daily as I hot caught up with everyone else . BFN today at 9dpo, but it seems that 11dpo is the magic number on this thread.

Hugs Starky and Snow I know how you feel.

My confusion about when I ovulated and therefore when I can test is getting to me. If it is fertile week, then we aren't doing too well as OH has bailed on DTD for the last two nights and I'm angry at him even though I know the increase in sex is making him tired and I'm trying to be all relaxed about TTC. Inside I am not relaxed at all!

And I'm still having period like cramps and feel really wet (sorry, tmi), but not EWCM wet.

I wish we could look into our bodies and know exactly what was happening.

I know exactly how you feel pink . Ovia has thrown me a curve ball and decided that "after recently added datat" it's changed my fertile window from being 7.5 today to 9.5 (with 10 being YESTERDAY! When I didn't dtd!) . Which has thrown me completely! I don't know what data I've added to make it change! My okp's from yesterday were negative. So was my one from this morning! I'll have to do another in a little while but now I'm absolutely convinced I've missed my window!

(I am unreasonably miffed.)

Starky don't fret yet. Have you dtd over the last few days? As long as you dtd every other day throughout the month you won't miss it. I know that's easier said than done.

We haven't bunch only managed Tuesday and today because he's been at work so much and I thought I had till next Wednesday will have another go at dtd tomorrow and will keep doing okp's but unless I've not ovulated yet, I'm out before I start! 😦

The swimmers can live for 5 days so Tuesday is not that far off. Like you said though you may not have even ovulated yet. Have you had any EWCM?

Does it not tell you what that data is Starky? I do like Ovia but I think I need to keep on with the OPKs and hopefully at some point they will marry up with what Ovia says so I can figure out what the hell is going on!

Ovia had me at 10.0 on Wednesday and 9.5 on Thursday, but both OPKs were negative for those days, so I'm pretty sure Ovia is wrong in my case. Going to test again later this afternoon just to see. We haven't DTD since Tuesday night, so if Ovia were correct we've missed the two highest marked dates, so I feel your frustration

Drink - there are days I wonder that too. I think of all of the women who got pregnant years and years ago when we didn't have fancy things like OPK sticks and thermometers, and they managed, so sometimes I question whether I should just ditch the 'technology' and have lots and lots of sex. But then I think a helping hand can't hurt

Weirdly, I haven't bunch which is sorta saying to me that I maybe haven't ovulated yet. it does mean that I'm totally going to have to do the 9 hour round trip with Dh to see his family though on Monday /Tuesday (which I really could have done without!) Just in case I ovulate later than expected! Not looking forward to that! Fx I ovulate tomorrow then I can dtd tomorrow and Monday (before he has to leave fat chance ) and I might not miss it!

Girls, when you do your OPKs, do you put the results into Ovia too? I know you can change if you have AF and spotting etc so that can change your data. X

Lana - i always put the data in. For me the problem is my OPK last wednesday was dark but still a smidgen off the the darkness of the control line, so I put it into Ovia as a negative OPK. On reflection I think that was as dark as it was going to get for me, or that I ovulated maybe later that day/ early the next morning (I only do OPKs once a day). Who knows!

If i add in that I ovulated last week, the fertile windows change, but nothing else has made the data change for me.

That's why I completely don't understand it pink I've been entering negative okp and nothing which I can think would make it decide I was ovulating. Oh well! Will dtd tomorrow, Sunday and aim to dtd Monday too! Can't think of any reason not to and Dh will be pleased so just got to keep my fx and see what happens really! Very confusing though! Will look on the positive side and just think it means lots of dtd and then put it to the back of my mind next week and look forward to Christmas and all the food, drink and family! Don't think Dh has to work Christmas eve anymore so woohoooo for that!

The gist was, you're all ok, don't panic, trust your cm it does not lie and Ni don't use me as a role model. I only shagged once during my fertile window and got absolutely hammered a week before getting my positive.

Runner snap. Once in the fertile window for me too and drank throughout my tww. We're excellent role models!

I'm worried about doing the OPKs when they arrive now. I don't want to get totally sucked into an app that isn't accurate iykwim.
Hopefully plenty of time spent together during the 2 week break will mean a BFP in the new year.
Although I am worried about being pregnant during the summer in case I am really uncomfortable with the heat. I just think too far ahead I think haha x

runner and bunch you're both completely right! I actually feel better now, thank you guys! I was getting a bit tightly wound there this afternoon. I need to relax I think! It's something I can't control, so worrying about it serves no purpose!

Glad to hear it Starky. They say relaxing is the easiest way to get preggo when TTC, added stress doesn't help the already rather complicated matter.

starky and pink sorry to hear you're stressed. It's all so confusing! I have 3 different apps all telling me different fertile periods!

Lana I've just got some OPKs through too but am thinking, like you, that I'm not sure I want to start using them if they might be wrong and just confuse/stress me more!

I only had one positive opk, two nearly positive, and the rest negative. I went more on my ewcm to be honest. The apps I use seem to match up with each other as far as making the 15th my O day. I had ewcm pretty much from Friday to Tuesday so that's when I focused on dtd.

Well I just did another OPK and it was negative, so that's a negative OPK on every day of Ovias fertile window. Now convinced that I ovulated last week and feel a bit calmer in that knowledge.

snow, I believe mine was around 13-14, so we're very similar.

pink, Ovia puts my O about 4 days later than I believe it was (based on ewm two days before and other symptoms). Fertility Friend puts it 4 days earlier than Ovia, so I think that's more accurate for me.

Lara based on the amount of ewcm and cramps I had, I personally think I ovulated on Monday. Either way I think I dtd enough to cover all my bases.
