All we want for Christmas is our BFP! All aboard the December Bus...

Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Sorry to hear your news rae, who knows it might be too early to test.

Runner05 · 25/11/2015 19:35

Well I just fell off the November bus so I'm hopping on the December one.

Name: Runner
Ttc #1
Cycle #2
CD #1
ETD: 25th Dec (hoping for an extra Christmas present)

Tested early (10, 11 & 12 DPO) and got very, very faint positives on Superdrug pink dye tests but after a couple of days the line vanished so I'm assuming it was a chemical preg. Will be trying not to test early this month as it drove me a little nuts. Confused

findingmyfeet12 · 25/11/2015 20:25

Is symptom spotting "allowed" on this thread? I'm trying not to but I can't help it Blush

SeriousStuff · 25/11/2015 20:31

Go for it finding, I posted about mine earlier today. Very similar symptoms to DC1 but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, I'm only on CD23 but my breasts are about to break out of this bra!

What are yours and which CD or DPO are you on?

GinandJazzHands · 25/11/2015 21:13

Hi ladies, any room at the back of the bus? I'm a first-ever poster.

Name: GinandJazzHands
Age: 33
TTC #1
This is where I reveal myself as a crazy: only had the implant removed one week ago with the plan to wait until the new year, work out my cycles etc. That lasted all of about two days, since then temping daily, all over the ovia app, have peed on about five ovulation sticks, oh and DTD of course. And thanks to you lovely ladies I've just ordered some of that pre-seed online!

Guessing nothing short of a miracle will land me and DH with a BFP pre-xmas, but here's hoping! Baby-dust to you all, and thanks for the thread so far; some great advice on here xx

findingmyfeet12 · 25/11/2015 21:14

I'm CD 25 and my breasts feel gigantic - although not sore.

I also felt sick at work from the smell of a cleaning substance they were using. I'm quite sensitive to smells anyway though so this might be a red herring.

Not sure if I should poas tomorrow morning.

findingmyfeet12 · 25/11/2015 21:15

Welcome GinandJazz I think we must have cross posted!

kittyvet · 25/11/2015 21:18

Climbing aboard!
Age 39
TTC #2 (14mth old daughter)
CD 14 with a green light from my CBFM.
ETD 12th Dec
This is cycle 2 as EBF and only got period this month (gutted to have missed first egg). It took over a year to get pregnant the first time so trying not to get hopes up!

GinandJazzHands · 25/11/2015 21:26

Thanks finding,
As a mild ovulation stick addict already, I know I'd be POAS if I were in your position, but understand that others would prefer to wait longer. All sounds promising, though, and no harm paying attention to your body, so fingers crossed.

Hi there kittyvet - I know what you mean. Some of the stories here from others have been very humbling; some long journeys, but sprinkling baby dust your way!

queenoftheworld93 · 25/11/2015 21:35

Symptom spotting is inevitable. I'm 9DPO and SS like mad despite saying I wouldn't :(

kittyvet · 25/11/2015 21:38

Thanks gin. As much as I keep telling myself I will not be consumed with POAS madness this time round I know I won't be able to resist!

findingmyfeet12 · 25/11/2015 21:52

We've ordered our stim injections at the pharmacy today and had a text from the hospital confirming our appointment on Tuesday to learn how to administer them.

I'm trying not to be too hopeful as I'll just set myself up for major disappointment.

Kellz92 · 25/11/2015 22:52

Finding i hope your hospital appointment goes well x

Grace893 · 25/11/2015 22:54

Sorry Rae that it might be bad news, make sure you treat yourself.

Polgara I totally second the silver cross

I'm now 2 DPO so will be trying to hold out testing till 7th but it will take a mamoth amount of self will to last that long.

Welcome to all the new people.

Celen · 26/11/2015 06:53

Any POAS-ing this morning?

Went to use my CB digital ov sticks and the bloody battery was flat Angry was not a happy bunny! Luckily had a spare kept from month before which still works but want to get my money back Hmm

OP posts:
queenoftheworld93 · 26/11/2015 07:18

Yep POAS this morning at 10dpo, bfn Sad

Celen I would want my money back too!

jauntyofarabia · 26/11/2015 08:07

Good luck at the hospital finding, let us know how you get on. I was barred from watching One Born Every Minute by DH when we lived in a country that showed it (and that was months and months ago!). We now live in the Middle East and luckily for DH they don't show it here. Maybe I need to get it on Youtube!

I am only on CD6 so going to leave it 5 days I think before I start POAS again. I have a big pack of cheapie ovualtion sticks that I ordered on Amazon and collected when I was last home so need them to last! The CB sticks are so expensive here I would need to remortgage the house to use them!

SeriousStuff · 26/11/2015 09:13

I gave in! Not sure of my DPO but according to FF I'm on CD24. Way too early, obviously BFN!

Bugmuncher · 26/11/2015 10:14

I know this might be a bit crazy but I keep thinking of all the ways I could tell my DH if we got a BFP for xmas. I've seen a mug that says 'I'm going to be a Daddy' and thought that would be really good as an early Christmas present Confused

SeriousStuff · 26/11/2015 10:17

Bug - go on YouTube, there are some amazing videos on there of the big reveal! You could get really creative - put it in a cracker or buy him a present that hints at it. Anyway, getting ahead of ourselves, but Christmas would be a fab time to tell someone!

Bugmuncher · 26/11/2015 10:21

Ooh thanks Serious! I'll go an check them out. I know I'm getting ahead of myself but my brain won't stop thinking about it and imagining it! Blush

Sodasoda · 26/11/2015 10:40

Hi everyone, in the spirit of symptom spotting (and TMI alert coming up!!) - I'm 7dpo today and have had LOADS of creamy white CM the last couple of days. It's staining my knickers! Really trying not to get my hopes up but like you girls, I keep thinking how lovely it would be to tell DH as an early Christmas present! I'm CD26 but ovulated late this month so won't be due AF til next week.

Mimilicious013 · 26/11/2015 10:43

A little too early Serious another 5-6 days fx

Mimilicious013 · 26/11/2015 10:53

bug had never thought abt it but thanks for the idea.here's hoping we get knocked up in time to give a great announcement.
Anyone have symptoms during ovulation.??

Sodasoda · 26/11/2015 11:02

Thanks mimi - fingers crossed. I've had loads of it since 4dpo. Seems quite early?

Yes mimi - I always get bad back ache during ovulation. I tend to get it for 2 full days and those days coincide with my peak OPKs. I also temp so can narrow it down fairly accurately!
