Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Fine i have a clear blue advanced fertility monitor, you can only start using it between 1-4. i was day 7, but wanted to use it so ended off a few days behind last month. But started a fresh this month. I dont see why you cant start futher on in your cycle :( xx

To POAS or not to POAS, that is the question!
11dpo tomorrow, really want to test but don't want that sinking feeling when one line appears and then I'm a grumpy git all day

sheep I wouldn't test yet. With DS I got a BFN at 10 & 12 DPO and a strong positive at 14 DPO so I try to wait until AF is due now. I find it too depressing to see that single line too, I'd rather live in hope for two weeks instead!

When was the earliest any of you positive ladies got any symptoms? I'm now day 8 post - possible ovulation. (Don't temp so can't confirm, but ewcm and postive opks 9th/10th of Dec). I hate the waiting!

First I didn't get any symptoms when I was pg with DS. So don't think that no symptoms means not pregnant!

I've got a wicked bad headache and high temp, my throat is sore too. So I'm getting the awful cold that's doing the rounds here. It'll probably mess this whole cycle up and it won't work if I'm ill. Bah humbug.

I got really, really bad fatigue a day or two before my BFP which lasted several weeks. Apart from that I felt completely normal.

i just had sickness before my bfp, except that i felt fine. it was over the time of my wedding so i thought it was nerves

I'm the same first, going to try holding out til Monday!

I've had an upset tummy since 1dpo and I'm now peeing a lot but it might all be coincidental!

Jamjar - I've also had a bad tummy since 1dpo. I'm about 4-5 days dpo now and I'm tempted to start the pissy sticks. I know it's not possible to get a bfp but I'm out of control!!

I've also noticed short waves of nausea but could be in my head.

Is cm a sign of conception? Because I've not got anything :/

I feel for you zazzles! Not pleasant. If it's a symptom, I'd much rather have morning sickness!

What's the very earliest a BFP would show up?

From what I've read not until atleast 7-8 dpo on super sensitive sticks. But I've got loads of cheapies that are out of date so I may as well pee on them instead of throwing them straight in the bin!

Hi ladies, yep I'm also in the tempted-to-POAS camp. I think I'm 6ishDPO and it's going soooo slowly. Going to try and hang in there until xmas eve then use up my cheapos by POASing every day or every other day over the holidays; as I'm off work then I know I won't be able to resist! No PG symptoms except my boobs are ever so slightly tender but I think that's just hormones.
snow feeling your pain too - I've also got the lurgy here! Really sore throat and aches. Not feeling confident this month so consoling self with the thought of a boozy NYE as I should def know either way by then!

I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot. I don't have any symptoms TO spot, however. I really don't feel pg - seriously think we're out this month.

I've also got the lurgy - and two huge mouth ulcers at the back of my tongue so I'm in agony when speaking or eating. So I've generally been drinking through it

I caved in at 12dpo and got a BFN.

FRER say they are 99% accurate 2 days before AF so I'm bowing out.

I'm on CD 39 which I know isn't the longest of cycles but I have no sign of AF and no sign of a BFP. Today is the beginning of what would have been my fertile window if AF had arrived on schedule. I'm sorry for the moan I was just looking forward to potentially conceiving over Christmas and knowing now that the best I can hope for is to finally get AF over Christmas is making me sad.

sheep I've never got a bfp till at least a few days after AF should have appeared. You are not out till the witch arrives!

gin my symptoms aren't that bad really - if any - it's probably down to munching on too many biscuits
Tender breasts is a good sign though? You have will power to hold out til Xmas eve!

Thanks owl, I'm just not feeling it at all.
With DD I only tested on day af was due (how restrained!) and got BFP on 4 different tests (yes I was that shocked!)
